The lost house of Israel

My people have been lost sheep

Jacobs son, Joseph,  was a type of Christ in scripture (see bottom for chart). I personally believe that the West contains large portions of the house of Joseph. This is not Rapture Ready’s belief, this is my own. I just believe God has put it in my heart that this is right. I believe that the lost tribes aren’t so lost to Him. God sent His Son because He wants them back.

In Jeremiah 50 and 51 we read of Babylon’s fall and destruction. God also calls those living in Babylon (I believe America) lost sheep. He also says that those lost sheep of Israel will join their brother Judah in weeping to the Lord.

“My people have been lost sheep.

Their shepherds have led them astray;

In those days and in that time,” says the LORD,

“The children of Israel shall come,

They and the children of Judah together;

With continual weeping they shall come,”

He’s speaking of two separate people here, clearly.

“My people have been lost sheep.

Their shepherds have led them astray;

They have turned them away on the mountains.

They have gone from mountain to hill;

They have forgotten their resting place.”

Jews never forgot their resting place.

In Genesis, Jacob (renamed Israel by God) tells his twelve sons what will befall them in the last days. He tells Judah that his brothers would hold him up in high esteem

“Judah, you are he whom your brothers shall praise;

Your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies;

Your father’s children shall bow down before you.”

Do Christians not hold Judah, or the Jewish people in high esteem?

When Jacob was giving His blessings before his death, he gave Joseph, eleventh born, who was captive in Egypt, the first born blessing. He also claimed Joseph’s sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, as his own sons and bestowed great blessing on them both. They are represented by the “house of Joseph” in scripture. Ephraim was the largest tribe in Israel.

The tribe of Levi became known as the Priestly tribe. They were set apart for God, and ordained by God to not receive a portion of the inheritance. Jacob, however, allotted two portions to Joseph, one for each of his sons, Ephraim and Manasseh orAmerica and Britain

“Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel (for he was the firstborn), but because he defiled his father’s bed, his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph the son of Israel; so that he is not enrolled in the genealogy according to his birthright.”

Reuben has his birthright stripped from him for sleeping with one of his fathers concubines. This is how Joseph obtained the birthright blessing and all that went with it

While all Jews are Israelites, NOT ALL ISRAELITES ARE JEWS. Hasn’t every nation that’s clung to America been blessed? Including the modern nation of Israel? Yes. God said I will bless those that bless you and curse those who curse you. I believe He is speaking of both nations of modern America AND ancient Israel. Both representing great nations He spoke of. The world has been blessed by being allied with America. Judah has been kept safe by Ephraim. When Christians fled, they went to a new nation that God called them to, America. When Abraham was directed by God to build a great nation, he built Israel. Both blessed by God.

“Jacob then placed his hands on Joseph”s sons heads and said

“God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked,

The God who has fed me all my life long to this day,

The Angel who has redeemed me from all evil,

Bless the lads; Let my name be named upon them,

And the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac;

And let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”

The phrase “grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth” is actually translated in Hebrew as, “let them teem like a multitude of fishes in the midst of the earth.”

If you ask me, Christians teem as fish spreading the gospel throughout the world. Christians are called fishers of men and the fish is a symbol used and recognized by Christians around the world since the time of Christ.

Way back in Genesis, Jacob said Ephraim (America) would be greater than his older his brother Manasseh (Britain). Manasseh was actually first born, but Jacob blessed Ephraim, the younger brother as greater and before him. He said Ephraim would be a multitude of nations, and we are the melting pot of the world. He said Manasseh would be a great nation as well, but nothing like his little brother. And America has been the greatest nation this world has ever known.

17 And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father’s hand, to remove it from Ephraim’s head unto Manasseh’s head.
18 And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head.
19 And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
20 And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraimand as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.
21 And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your fathers.” Genesis 48:18-21

Oftentimes Israel and Ephraim are used interchangeably. The Biblical description of the boundaries of Ephraim can be found in Joshua 16.

Sometimes the Bible refers to both Ephraim and Manasseh jointly as the sons of Joseph, or house of Joseph, or simply Joseph.

Joshua 16 opens up in such a way. The first four verses list “the lot for the sons of Joseph” combined. Then Scripture proceeds to individually list the boundaries and cities of each tribe separately.

In Matthew 15:1-7 Jesus talks of His lost sheep. Luke 15 is another parable of lost sheep. 15:11 is about a lost Son who returns to His father.

Jesus said “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

Judah wasn’t lost, especially while Jesus was here. In fact, even under Roman rule, Jerusalem itself was flourishing. The temple had been being renovated for years and was now finished. First century historian, Josephus, said that the gold on the temple became so bright by the rays of the sun that it blinded you.

He said the temple façade was covered in massive gold plates, not gold trim as we see in models today. He also described a large golden vine with golden fruit hanging above the door leading to the inner sanctum. None of this impressed Jesus.

Jesus answered them by saying that the temple would be destroyed and rebuilt in three days. They did not understand that Jesus was speaking of Himself. They also didn’t realize that the temple would soon be destroyed because the temple of God now resides within His people. Not a man made structure.

If the temple remained and Jews continued to turn to Christ BUT remained Jews going to synagogue etc, God would have remained the God of the Jews only.

The disciples physically walked and talked with our Meshiach on a daily basis, but even after He resurrected they still felt that gentiles were unclean and wouldn’t even eat with them until Peter was called to do so.

It had even caused arguments and disagreements between the disciples over what to do with gentiles. Paul IS that the bridge between Judaism and Christianity. Paul said Jesus came to the “Jew”  first and then the gentile. But is this accurately portraying what Paul said?

English bibles use the word “Jew.” Hebrew and Greek translations both use the word JUDEAN. Salvation was offered to the Judean first. It was offered to the tribes still living in Jerusalem. Jesus also instructed His disciples not to preach outside of Jerusalem yet.

At that time, there were THREE tribes that returned from captivity and lived in Jerusalem. They were Judah, Benjamin and Levi. Levi being the priestly tribe.

They were called JUDEANS. In America we have many different people from all over the world that become citizens in America. Afterwards, they are called Americans, just as those living in Jerusalem were called Judeans.

Paul was from the tribe of Benjamin and lived in Jerusalem.

“I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of

the tribe of Benjamin. God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew”

“If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.”

“Hear this, O house of Jacob, Who are called by the name of Israel,

And have come forth from the wellsprings of Judah”

Since Biden took his oath of office (Big eye roll here), America has been forever changed. In the last one hundred days I have become more convinced than ever that America is Babylon.

This is what God said about Babylon’s security and borders in the last days.

“Her foundations have fallen, Her walls are thrown down;

For it is the vengeance of the LORD. Take vengeance on her.

As she has done, so do to her.”

He also said He would fill us with men as though they were locusts. This is describing our broken border.

Before His return God said that the houses of Jacob and Joseph will make Esau into stubble, TOGETHER.  The house of Jacob is referring to Judah. What has the United States along with Britain and the modern nation of Israel  been doing to Syria and Iraq for the last two decades? They’ve made them STUBBLE.

Jesus told us where Satan’s seat is. Pergamos, which happens to be modern day Turkey.  Many of Esau’s descendants settled in parts of the modern nation of Turkey. God doesn’t say He hates something often but He said He hated Esau but loved Jacob

have loved you,” says the LORD. “Yet you say, ‘In what way have You loved us?’ Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?”

Says the LORD.“Yet Jacob I have loved; But Esau I have hated,

And laid waste his mountains and his heritage

For the jackals of the wilderness.” Mal 1:2

“The house of Jacob shall be a fire, And the house of Joseph a flame; But the house of Esau shall be stubble;”

God also said both Israel AND Judah will turn to Him in the last days, weeping because of what we are about to face in the last days. He’s clearly talking about two groups of people.

In those days and in that time,” says the LORD, The children of Israel shall come, They and the children of Judah together;

With continual weeping they shall come, And seek the LORD their God. They shall ask the way to Zion, With their faces toward it, saying, ‘Come and let us join ourselves to the LORD

In a perpetual covenant That will not be forgotten.”

Orthodox Jews know that Judah is not all of Israel as well. During prayers for Feast of Trumpets and on the Day of Atonement, the Jews include in their prayer Jeremiah 31:20. They pray that Ephraim, Joseph’s son blessed by Jacob, and the rest of Israel may be united with them again one day.

“Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a pleasant child?

For though I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still;

Therefore My heart yearns for him; I   will surely have mercy on him, says the LORD.”

In the Talmud, Jewish sages recorded the Assyrian captivity and aftermath. The Talmud tells us that the Ephraimites bore perfect heathens. Meaning they didn’t speak Hebrew, practice Torah or follow  God. They described them as “strange children.”

The disciples went abroad and traveled all over the Mediterranean preaching after the resurrection. From the Mediterranean Sea to Europe.

Josephus said the people living in Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia were called Israelites!  The disciples visited these places.

He also said “But then the entire body of the people of Israel [the Ten Tribes] REMAINED IN THAT COUNTRY [they did not return to the land of Israel]; wherefore there are but two tribes in Asia and Europe subject to the Romans, while the ten tribes are beyond Euphrates till now, and are an immense multitude, and not to be estimated by numbers” (Antiq. of the Jews)

There are estimates that there were 50 million people in Israel when the Kingdoms split, imagine what the number was 800 years later in the first century.

For, lo, the days come,’ says the LORD, ‘that I will turn back the captivity of My people Israel and Judah … and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave their fathers, and they shall possess it’ ” (Jer. 30:3).

Something that no longer exists cannot be restored, but God said he’d restore Israel.

Hosea tells us that the children of israel would be as the sand of the sea. The tribe of Judah has not populated the earth this way. He also tells us that Israel and Judah will once again be united as brothers. God tells the Israelites that although He told them they were not His people, He will once again embrace them along with Judah.

“Yet the number of the children of Israel Shall be as the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or numbered. And it shall come to pass In the place where it was said to them,

‘You are not My people,’There it shall be said to them,

‘You are sons of the living God.’ Then the children of Judah and the children of Israel Shall be gathered together, And appoint for themselves one head; And they shall come up out of the land,For great will be the day of Jezreel!”

Hosea 1:10-11

We’ve all heard the story of the  prodgal son, but I  believe it to be mean much more than many Christians believe.  Jews have always been known, no matter where they went. For 2,000 years they were without a nation but people still knew who the Jews were and they ALWAYS observed sabbath (Shabbat)

They still observe Shabbat and God’s feasts and festivals. God said these were HIS. In their prayers they still thank God for rescuing them from Egypt too. Christians on the other hand do not follow His feasts or festivals. We consider going to church for an hour as keeping Shabbat (sabbath) God knew the lost sheep had forgotten Him and all that their fathers taught them.

Paul said to Christians, let nobody judge you on how you pray, when you pray or how you observe sabbath. God knew Christians would pray and worship His Son, but we aren’t keeping HIS feasts and festivals. We aren’t even following some of His laws. He said put nobody before Him, yet many Christians put many things before Him. Don’t divorce. Honor your parents. Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. Christians are lacking in places where Jewish families just aren’t.

God said this covenant of the sabbath was forever. In the NT, we see where Paul’s bridge comes in. Where Peters vision of unclean things comes into play. And to me, even where the prodigal son comes into play.

Since the house of Israel has no idea who they are, God sent His Son to save them, being the final sacrifice for all sins. If not for Jesus, we would perish.  The lost Israelites aren’t keeping Gods sabbath which is Friday night to Saturday night because they don’t know, but God’s sabbath is extremely important to Him. Sunday is not the true sabbath. The Vatican changed it.

The Jews have never forgotten one prayer uttered by their fathers. When Jesus returns and Christians walk through those gates side by side with Torah observant Jews, is it possible the tribe of Judah is upset? (Read the prodigal son parable by Jesus)

They must be thinking “We’ve kept your laws, feasts and commandments, through having no nation of our own, all the way to a holocaust that slaughtered us by the millions, and not once have we forgotten you…but you’re going to treat these Christians, as you treat us? They are fornicators, adulterers, whoremongers and even murderers! Not once did we forget you, even in captivity.”

This is MY personal belief of the meaning of the Prodigal Son. I’m not saying I’m right, but MY  studies have brought me to this conclusion.

Jeroboam, the King of North Israel  directly after Solomon’s death, was made an officer by Solomon first, before the Kingdom ever split. When it did split, Ephraim ruled lsrael in the north and Judah ruled Jerusalem to the South.

“The man Jeroboam was a mighty man of valor; and Solomon, seeing that the young man was industrious, made him the officer over all the labor force of the house of Joseph.”

A prophet meets jeroboam on the road not long after this and told him he would lead ten of the tribes.

And he said to Jeroboam, “Take for yourself ten pieces, for thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: ‘Behold, I will tear the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon and will give ten tribes to you (but he shall have one tribe for the sake of My servant David did, then I will be with you and build for you an enduring house, as I built for David, and will give Israel to you. And I will afflict the descendants of David because of this, but not forever.”

Jeroboam became afraid of the religious feasts, festivals and sacrifices still happening in Judah. He feared that this would entice the people of the Northern kingdom of Israel to unite again with their brother, Judah. He was afraid  of them rejoining the Davidic line. 1 Kings 12:25-27

He changed the Feast of Tabernacles from the seventh month to the eighth month in an effort to further distance the Israelites from the God of their fathers and their brother Judah. He altered scripture, set pillars up for worship and lead Israel further from God then their brother Judah ever went. When Assyria came to take them captive, they had already started to forget God.

“And Jeroboam said in his heart; if these people go up to offer sacrifices in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people will turn back to their lord, Rehoboam king of Judah, and they will kill me and go back to Rehoboam king of Judah.” 1kings 12:25

When Judah was taken by Babylon, they were becoming a wicked nation like Israel. While in captivity they still remembered God though, which is why God allowed them to return. They kept the sabbath, Israel to the north did not.

“Speak also to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Truly you shall keep My Sabbaths, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations [enabling you] to know that I am the LORD Who sanctifies you. You shall keep the Sabbath therefore, for it is holy to you…. Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever…’ ” (Ex. 31:13-14, 16-17).

The prophet Ezekiel prophesied about Israel’s future years after they had been taken into captivity by the Assyrians.  Ezekiel was one of the Jews taken captive by Babylon’s Nebuchadnezzar. This was 130 years after the northern kingdom was taken by Assyria..

Most of Ezekiel’s message was directed at the House of Israel.  He says the  “house of Israel”  78 times in the book, but “house of Judah” occurs only five times. There are also three prophetic messages to the “whole house of Israel.” This is speaking of all 12 tribes.  He isn’t speaking of a past captivity, he’s speaking of a future one.

And the [Gentile] nations shall know that the house of Israel was exiled for their iniquity. Because they were unfaithful to Me, therefore I hid My face from them and gave them into the hand of their enemies, and [their men of war] all fell by the sword. According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I have done to them, and hid My face from them.’

After returning from Babylonian captivity, the Jews kept a continuous presence in Gods land, just as prophesied. Jesus is Gods scepter. He was born in Judah, practiced Jewish law and read Torah. He is King of Kings, Royalty from the tribe of Judah.

“The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet” Gen 49:10

The scepter means authority and power. A King would hold a scepter to denote his authority as King. Jesus will hold that scepter in Jerusalem and will rule over all of us. He’s coming back to take what’s His.

“Go, tell Jeroboam, ‘Thus says the LORD God of Israel: “Because I exalted you from among the people, and made you ruler over My people Israel, and tore the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it to you; and yet you have not been as My servant David, who kept My commandments and who followed Me with all his heart, to do only what was right in My eyes; but you have done more evil than all who were before you, for you have gone and made for your self other gods and molded images to provoke Me to anger, and have cast Me behind your back”

I think the Biden administration has done more evil to this nation than all others together. Yes, Obama paved the way, but Biden is literally destroying us with zero cares what the American people want.

It wasn’t only Jeroboam God was angry with, He was also very angry with the people of Israel. The people turned from God and worshipped false gods and idols, forgetting the God of their fathers. God was extremely angry and fed up. Just as he’s fed up with America. Israel allowed Jeroboam to turn them from God. Americans allowed our politicians to remove God just the same.

“And He will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who sinned and who made Israel sin.” 1kings 14:16

“Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them from His sight; there was none left but the tribe of Judah alone.”  2 kings 17:18

God warns us that captivity is coming back for BOTH Israel and Judah.

For in the days to come, says the Lord, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, says the Lord: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it” (Jer.30:3

Judah and Joseph have been separated for thousands of years, but scripture shows God joining them together, making them one in His hand when He returns.

The rest of the lost tribes are included through these two important tribes of Ephraim (Israel) and Judah (Levi and Benjamin )as being their companions. Ephraim being the largest tribe.

As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’ Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.”

“Surely I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will join them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand.”

This is a prophecy that has yet to happen. When Christ returns, all will know who He is and worship together. The Jews will turn to Jesus as Meshiach and Christians will learn Gods feasts, festivals and laws again. They will relearn what Jeroboam took from them.  God never said these were Judah’s feasts and laws, He said these were HIS feasts and laws.

There are two groups of people that worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and David. That’s Christians and Jews.

Jerusalem is going to be the focal point of attacks against the Jews living there. What we are starting to see now, these pogroms, will increase in intensity. America will continue to fall, purposely and by design.

“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it” (vs.2-3).

When the Judah was given their land back in 1948, Winston Churchill was surprised they chose the name Israel and not Judah since that’s what it was named prior.

When Ephraim and Judah split, they also warred with one another. Ephraim turning on Judah. As America is turning on Judah. I do believe we have reached that final push by Satan. It’s when Israel is under full assault that our Messiah returns.

Netanyahu’s ten day offensive against Hamas should continue, despite what “Biden” says. Netanyahu and Biden will not be friends. Modern day Israel has very few friends left in the United States that are on the left, and the left stole the show, literally. It’s going to be a whole new era between the US and Israel. Mark my words. Biden is trying to tell Netanyahu how to run his country but he can’t even run his own!

In the Koran, it says that in the last days that Jews would be hunted by Muslims until even the rocks will call out and say a Jew is hiding behind me. They aren’t being hunted in just Israel. Right here in good ole USA. Men flying Palestinian flags are driving around attacking Jews.

Jinping didn’t have to lift a finger to destroy America. We are doing a fantastic job all on our own.

“and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them. Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children’s children” ezekiel 37:22-24n
