Gog and Cyrus: The Hooks Have Been Placed

Over the summer, as the surrounding “inner circle” of nations moved closer to Israeli borders, Psalm 83 appeared to be on the horizon. In fact, It looked like we were about to witness the Psalm 83 war way before the Ezekiel 38 war – Gog of  Magog war (Russia).

Several things have happened over the last couple of months that have made me reevaluate where I believe the Gog invasion fits into Bible prophecy.

Could Iran, Turkey and Russia grow emboldened enough to attempt an attack on the heartland of Israel? Moscow just warned Israel against any further air strikes against Syrian defense systems; if they fail to heed the warning, there will be an air strike in central Israel, where tens of thousands of civilians live.

This is more evidence of the cooling relationship between Israel and Russia, or Magog.

“Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, ‘My lord, what shall be the end of these things?’ And he said, ‘Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand’” (Daniel 12:8-10).

As the end draws near, we understand so much more than they did even one hundred years ago.

In 2018, Syrian missiles shot down an Israeli Jet for the first time since 1982, leaving many to question whether Syria was guided by Russian help.

On September 17, Israel carried out air strikes against Iranian and Syrian forces near a Russian air base in Latakia. Syrian regime forces fired back and they accidentally downed a Russian plane. It resulted in the deaths of all 15 Russian service members on board. This was the leading cause of the cooling relationship between Israel and Russia.

President Putin blamed “a chain of tragic accidental circumstances,” but the Russian Defense Ministry said Israel hid its F-16s behind the Russian plane, making it a target for Syria’s anti-aircraft missiles. In response, Moscow delivered S-300 missiles to Syria, putting Israel at further risk.

What military feat could Israel boast of that would make people all over the world take notice and turn to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? Destroying Russia in the Golan Heights is certainly one way. Israel defeating Russia would make lesser nations think twice before threatening or attacking Israel again, which could bring a peace treaty to the people in the region. The loudest cries of peace come during war.

“You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes” (Ezekiel 38:16).

With the U.S. withdrawing from Syria, Israel is letting Syria and Iran know that – while the U.S may no longer be involved in the war-torn country – Israel will not let Iran gain a strong military hold in Syria. President Trump, in reality, is leaving Syria to not just Turkey, but also Russia and Iran. Something will embolden these countries or anger them enough into thinking they can overtake Israel. But these forces will fall on the mountains of Israel. And I believe President Trump has withdrawn for reasons unknown to us. But they won’t be unknown for long.

The coming destruction of Damascus could be the match that sets the entire Middle East on Fire. God did say he’d kindle a flame in Damascus. With Assad being allies with Russia and Iran, it’s not hard to see them engaging Israel, and soon it seems.

On New Year’s Eve, the United States military sent out a very odd but also extremely telling tweet:

“#TimesSquare tradition rings in the #NewYear by dropping the big ball … if ever needed, we are #ready to drop something much, much bigger,” the original post read. “Watch to the end! @AFGlobalStrike @Whiteman_AFB #Deterrence #Assurance #CombatReadyForce #PeacelsOurProfession.”

This was a warning to someone, and it most likely was directed towards Iran and Russia.

Russia is a military superpower, second only to the United States. Russia has now officially threatened Israel, militarily.

Recently the US, for the first time, endorsed Israeli control of the Golan Heights by voting against the annual UN resolution that condemns the “occupation” by Israel. But is it really occupation?

The resolution titled, “The occupied Syrian Golan,” was adopted with 151 votes in favor, two against (Israel and the US), and 14 abstentions. The newest resolution condemns Israel for “repressive measures” against Syrian citizens in the Golan Heights. Never mind that the IDF routinely rescues Syrian citizens along the border and provides medical care.

The Jewish settlement in the Golan Heights region ended in 636 AD, after Arab conquest. Then, in the 16th century, the Golan was conquered by the Ottoman Empire, which was then part of the Damascus province until it was taken by the French in 1918. The Ottomans were Turks, not Syrians. When the French mandate ended in 1946, the Golan became part of the newly created Syrian Arab Republic.

Almost immediately, they used it as a launching ground for attacks against the new Jewish State. This began in 1948 and continued for 19 years until the Six-day War. The Golan Heights was recaptured by Israel. It was in 1981 that Israel passed what was called the Golan Heights Law. This annexed The Golan from Syria and extended Israeli laws and jurisdiction to the area.

The short end of the story is that this area belongs to the Jewish people. It was taken from them first. Going by the media, one would assume that the Golan was part of Syria for hundreds of years instead of nineteen.

Following the death of Moses but before the Tribes of Israel entered the Land, the tribes of Menashe, Gad and Reuven had already liberated a land known as Bashan from the Amorites. Bashan is the Golan Heights of today. The Golan Heights was part of biblical Israel, with the Book of Deuteronomy referring to the City of Bashan as a place of refuge. Judah Maccabee is said to have defended Jewish homes in Bashan. There have been ancient Jewish coins from the Bar Kochba era found in the Golan Heights as well.

“And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world” (1 John 4:3).

Recent discoveries by archeologists have unearthed 34 synagogues in the Golan Heights dating from the Roman era through the Byzantine era and even Arab conquests of Jerusalem. Over time, with the Jewish people exiled, the once flourishing Jewish communities in the Golan were abandoned and forgotten.

It wasn’t until the 15th and 16th centuries that the Druze started to settle the Golan Heights area. Jews began to return to the area as well in 1886 and would remain until 1947. It was Jewish people that were forced out by the Syrians, not the other way around. What’s more, the Golan Heights was supposed to be included as part of the Palestine Mandate, which created a national home for the Jewish people.

There is nothing but lies and deceit from the UN when it comes to Israel. It is the spirit of Antichrist that has a dark cloud over the organization. They have introduced resolution after resolution against Israel, but not one against terrorist organizations. They believe the lie and attempt to pass the lie off as fact.

“And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thess 2:11).

Israel keeping control of the Golan Heights is absolutely necessary to her security, so what does that tell you? The Globalist, Luciferian powers in this world that Jesus warned us of don’t want Israel to be safe or secure. In fact, if Israel were to be destroyed tomorrow, nobody in the UN would bat an eye.

“Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord. This is what the Sovereign Lord says: The enemy said of you, ‘Aha!  The ancient heights have become our possession.’… I am concerned for you and will look on you with favor; … I will cause many people to live on you — yes, all of Israel. The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt’” (Ezekiel 36:1-2, 9-10).

Recently PM Netanyahu spoke to his cabinet by saying “It is time that the international community recognized reality… Whatever happens on the other side of the border, the border itself will not move. Secondly, after 50 years it is time that the international community realized that the Golan will remain under Israeli sovereignty.”

He went on to say that The Golan was an “integral part of the Land of Israel in ancient times… and the Golan is an integral part of the State of Israel in the present time.”

“Thus saith Hashem to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him, and to loose the loins of kings; to open the doors before him, and that the gates may not be shut” (Isaiah 45:1).

On January 21, 2019, the Americas, parts of Western Europe and Western Africa will witness a super-wolf blood moon with an eclipse. This eclipse is only going to be fully visible to WESTERN nations. That also marks the date for the halfway point of President Trump’s presidency. What’s interesting about the night Trump was born? He was born June 14, 1946, within fifteen minutes of a total lunar eclipse and 700 days before the state of Israel was born.

He was sworn in as President on January 20, 2017, when he was 70 years old, seven months and seven days. He was also sworn in during Israel’s double Jubilee year, marking seventy years since their founding, and fifty years since recapturing Jerusalem. God has always used the sun, moon and stars along with numbers to speak to His people. So what’s He telling us with Trump? For one, the name TRUMP is biblical, according to Rabbi and Bible Codes expert, Rabbi Matityahu Glazerson.

Gematria, or Hebrew numerology, is an esoteric device used by rabbis for revealing hidden meaning in the Bible. According to Rabbi Glazerson, “Anybody who helps Israel, to build themselves, to settle properly in their land,” is referred to as a kind of Moshiach.

Wouldn’t something as enormous as tiny Israel defeating an invading Russian alliance cause the Palestinians to take notice? Peace deal anyone? Acknowledge Israel has ties to Jerusalem? Sure thing. FOR NOW.

The Temple will be rebuilt next to the mosque as an international symbol of “peace.”

Revelation 11:2 “But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles.”

For three and a half years, the surrounding Islamic nations regroup. They devise a plan to make all of Israel their own. The sudden invasion comes so quickly that even Jesus warned the Jews living in Judea and Samaria to run for their lives and don’t look back. The obvious place to run will be towards Jordan. The Bible tells us that Jordan will act wickedly against the covenant, though, leaving Jordan to escape the Antichrist’s wrath.  The covenant is the Abrahamic covenant in which God gave Israel to the Jewish people.

The Jews will worship God in the temple, right next to abominations against Him, like the Al-Aqua mosque. God Himself stood on the mountain of the Temple Mount; it’s His.

“And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city and stood on the mountain, which is on the east side of the city.”

Daniel 11:41 “He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon.”

Jordan is to Ammon and Edom what Israel is to Jacob. The Jordanian/Palestinian people have no closer relation in the Middle East than Israel. They are ancient brothers dating back to Esau and Jacob. When the Antichrist floods Jerusalem and the people are running away in desperation and fear, Jordan will block them. Jordan will turn his own brother over to the Antichrist. God warns them that His judgment is coming because of what they did.

“For violence against your brother Jacob, Shame shall cover you, And you shall be cut off forever. In the day that you stood on the other side—In the day that strangers carried captive his forces, When foreigners entered his gates And cast lots for Jerusalem—Even you were as one of them” (Obadiah 1:10-11).

Judea and Samaria are located in modern-day East Jerusalem, where the Temple Mount is located. When the Jewish people are invaded in Jerusalem, it will be sudden. There will be tens of thousands of Jews living in and worshipping in this area. The temple will have been rebuilt; the Muslims and Jews will have worshipped alongside one another for three and a half years before the sudden change towards the Jewish people.

“In the day of their calamity. You should not have stood at the crossroads To cut off those among them who escaped; Nor should you have delivered up those among them who remained In the day of distress” (Obadiah 1:14).

The Jordanian people escape because they “do wickedly against the covenant.”

“So he shall return and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant” (Daniel 11:30b).

“Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery…” (Daniel 11:32).

With Russia warning against any further attacks on Syrian defense systems, and Syria becoming the meeting ground for anti-Israeli military forces, it won’t be long before The IDF and IAF launch more strikes into Syria.

“Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, And it will be a ruinous heap. The cities of Aroer are forsaken; They will be for flocks Which lie down, and no one will make them afraid. The fortress also will cease from Ephraim, The kingdom from Damascus, And the remnant of Syria…” (Isaiah 17:1-3)).

Ephraim, one of the twelve tribes, originally settled in Samaria, which was ancient Ephraim. Aroer is believed to be in Jordan. The Bible says these cities are “forsaken.” The Hebrew word used for forsaken is azab, and means abandoned, withdrawn, left behind, released, or neglected. The people fleeing would leave these cities abandoned.

The destruction of Damascus will probably spill over into northern Jordan, with a prophetic connection to Jeremiah 49:1-2. This seems to suggest it is Israel that is responsible for the destruction of Damascus.

Read Jeremiah 49:1-2 below.

“Against the Ammonites. Thus says the Lord: ‘Has Israel no sons? Has he no heir? Why then does Milcom inherit Gad, And his people dwell in its cities? Therefore behold, the days are coming,’ says the Lord, ‘That I will cause to be heard an alarm of war In Rabbah of the Ammonites; It shall be a desolate mound, And her villages shall be burned with fire. Then Israel shall take possession of his inheritance,’ says the Lord.”

God is basically saying Jordan took land from Israel that they had no right to take, and Israel is taking it back.

The Gog coalition in Ezekiel never reaches Jerusalem. The Bible tells us these forces will fall on the mountains of Israel, while the Antichrist spoken of in Daniel DOES reach Jerusalem. God will not forsake Israel, but He is angry.

“I have raised him up in righteousness, And I will direct all his ways; He shall build My city And let My exiles go free, Not for price nor reward,’ Says the Lord of hosts” (Isaiah 45:13).

“The man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it’” (Isaiah 46:11b).

I have felt that God’s hand has been placed over President Trump. Trump was who this country needed, a tough New York businessman who doesn’t bow to the Globalists and establishment. If God’s hand wasn’t on Him, I don’t believe He would have made it this far. There’s always a chance I can be wrong, but I strongly feel Donald Trump will serve out his full term and win re-election. He has derailed the globalism of the US that Obama signed us up for. He’s trying to secure our border, without help from the Democrats.

A lesser man would have thrown in the towel by now. He was rich, well-liked and respected in many circles, by many people, before he ran against Hillary Clinton. The Clinton’s have a history of destroying people’s lives.

“When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice (for the Lord your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them” (Deut 4:30-31).

The Bible warns us of a ten-nation alliance that forms in Europe. There was a ten-nation alliance officially formed in the last month. Finland has joined Germany, Belgium, Britain, Denmark, Estonia, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal in the French-led initiative. But, is this THE ten-nation alliance foretold?

God has told us to watch the sky for signs from him.

The new year of 2019 will be one heck of an astronomical year; 2018 was as well. There are eclipses, a huge meteor shower, and then a rare planet transition coming this year – oh, and a super wolf blood moon.

In 2018, the US experienced a solar eclipse that only America could see. Seems God is telling the West something. Which nation is the largest Christian nation? The UNITED STATES. Where are people praying in the name of Christ the most? Western nations. What’s interesting is that just seven years later, in 2024, this same event happens again.

“Then God said, ‘Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth’; and it was so. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also” (Gen 1:14-16).

Joel also warns us of coming blood moons and solar eclipses. These events have been happening on a much bigger scale than ever before.

“And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved…” (Joel 2:30-32).

Jesus prophesied these amazing signs in the heavens too.

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near” (Luke 21:25-28).

So Jesus is warning us of His coming return and gave us signs that will appear when we are near. The Bible foretold the Russian alliance; and right now Russia, Turkey, Syria and Iran are on Israel’s border. What’s the real reason President Trump withdrew our troops from Syria? Are we planning a massive attack on Iran? The Bible foretold of Iran’s (formerly Persia) coming destruction too.

He also warned us of the sea and waves, which represent Hurricanes and Tsunamis. He said the nations of the Earth will be perplexed. The KJV definition of perplexed is “To make intricate; to involve; to entangle; to make complicated and difficult to be understood or unraveled.”

The eclipse date of the 21st has a biblical meaning. Twenty-one symbolizes wickedness lawlessness, and sin in Hebrew numerology.

A New Moon Celebration in Hebrew is “Rosh Chodesh,” and it means “beginning, head, or renewal.”

The number eight in Hebrew numerology represents a new beginning; adding 13 to it means wickedness or sin; together 21 (or January 21) represents a new beginning of sin and wickedness.

Last year, in the Middle East, they experienced a super blue-moon eclipse on the Jewish holiday of Tu B’shevat. This ended up being a blessing on Israel, as Jerusalem was officially recognized by the world’s leading superpower, giving the Jews credibility with Jerusalem belonging to the Jewish people.

The blood moon eclipse coming to the West also falls on Tu B’shevat. Coincidence? I think not. The celebration of Tu B’shevat is known as the “celebration of trees.” It’s a time of new beginning.

Leading Rabbis described prophecies from Jewish sources indicating an end to the dominance Ishmael—Muslims have over the Temple Mount. That dominance will wane with a sharing arrangement.

The super blood moon on January 21, 2019, was described by Rabbi Genut as a time of judgment.

“There will be a marked increase in earthquakes and volcanoes, even more than we have seen in the past year,” Rabbi Genuth said. “Just as the eclipse is a conflict between the sun and the moon to rule over the heavens, there will be a similar conflict on earth. This will begin a time when governments are in balance. Some governments that seem powerful right now will fall and others will rise in their place.”

The complete solar eclipse that crossed the United States in August 2018 brought us the most devastating hurricane season in US history.

The Talmud teaches that lunar eclipses are a bad omen for Israel because they are spiritually represented by the moon and the Hebrew calendar; they also follow lunar cycles as we follow the solar cycle. If a lunar eclipse appears red, then the Talmud says it is an omen that wars are on the horizon.

Rabbi Yosef Berger said this lunar eclipse will not affect Israel, but will affect her enemies. A full moon is not a bad omen, though. The super moon eclipse over the West will not be visible from Jerusalem.

At least five (if not more) major events in the Bible occurred on, or near, full moons including the crucifixion of Jesus.

The earth has been experiencing an enormous jump in the number of earthquakes and tsunamis around the world. We were warned of all these signs. Is the US going to be blessed as Israel was, or are we going to be cursed? Only time will tell.

Leading Rabbis have referred to Trump as a modern-day Cyrus the Great, who let the Jews rebuild their temple.

“Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, ‘The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever is among you of all his people, may the LORD his God be with him. Let him go up”’ (2 Chronicles 36:23).

In the coming peace deal, I have a very good feeling that the construction of a newly built Temple will be included. This has never been proposed before, but Trump is the man to do it. The man is doing God’s will, though he may not even know it. The prayer surrounding our president is enormous. Leading pastors have placed hands on him and prayed, and Pastor Brunson placed hands on him and prayed. We as Christians pray for him and our country daily.

President Trump isn’t a perfect man, but he’s not what the Democrats have tried to make him out to be. With his imperfections and all, God chose him to officially recognize Jerusalem before the world and to build his temple, just as Cyrus did.

King Cyrus helped the Jews to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem under Zerubbabel and Joshua the high priest. He restored all of the temple treasures and even paid for the rebuilding out of the royal treasury. Cyrus’s decree helped the temple worship to be restored after 70 years of the Jews’ captivity.

Israel has never had a greater friend than President Trump and the US, and we will continue to be friends.

“The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases” (Proverbs 21:1).

The Jewish people and Christians across the world have a bond together through God. He said He will join us together as one in the last days.

“Thus says the Lord God: ‘Surely I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will join them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand’” (Ezekiel 37:19).

Ephraim represents the West, and Judah represents the Jews. We will worship together, as one people, united as brothers and sisters in Christ.

The hooks have been placed into Russia’s jaw, but the US will never sit back and allow an attack on Israel. Not with Donald Trump in office. The question is, are the nations in the Gog alliance going to be lead out by those hooks before the peace deal is revealed? These nations view the US withdrawal as giving in, but there’s no way our president would ever leave Israel alone. The US has nourished Israel for seventy years, just as the Bible prophesied.

“But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent” (Rev 12:14).

The US is undoubtedly known internationally by the eagle, and we will protect and fight with Israel.

Of that I have no doubt. For the next two years, the Democrats will do everything in their power to impeach our president, but it will not happen. He needs your prayers; Israel needs your prayers. There is another Great War on the horizon, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is returning soon. It’s time for God’s people to be spiritually ready. Are you ready to meet your maker? Because we are not guaranteed tomorrow!

Ezekiel 37:15-17 “Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, ‘As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’ Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.”

Genesis 48:13-16 “And Joseph took them both, Ephraim with his right hand toward Israel’s left hand, and Manasseh with his left hand toward Israel’s right hand, and brought them near him. Then Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it on Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand on Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands knowingly, for Manasseh was the firstborn. And he blessed Joseph, and said: ‘God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, The God who has fed me all my life long to this day, The Angel who has redeemed me from all evil, Bless the lads; Let my name be named upon them, And the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; And let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.’”

Destruction of Damascus & the Coming Invasion

Destruction of Damascus and the Coming Islamic Invasion of Israel

In part one of this series, I wrote about the coming Psalm 83 war – Edom (Palestinians/Jordanians) attacking His brother Jacob (Israel). This will no doubt leave the rest of the Muslim world enraged. I believe the destruction of Damascus will be very close to the Psalm 83 war prophesied. As the Edomites come closer to entering Jerusalem, Erdogan comes closer to entering Damascus, with Iraq in his sight. This is part two of my series, the destruction of Damascus and the coming Ezekiel 38 war.

Damascus is the world’s oldest continually inhabited city in the world. The Bible says Damascus will be destroyed overnight. Since this has never happened, we know it’s a prophetic future event. There has been a war raging in Syria for 7 years, and yet the city of Damascus has gone relatively unscathed. Assad still runs his government from Damascus.

Isaiah 17:1-3 “Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap. The cities of Aroer are forsaken; They will be for flocks which lie down, and no one will make them afraid. The fortress also will cease from Ephraim, the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria; They will be as the glory of the children of Israel,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

Damascus was one of the first cities to receive Christianity during the ministry of Apostle Paul. There were more Christians in Damascus than anywhere else in the world at the time of the apostles. It was on the road to Damascus that Paul was blinded by Jesus.  He saw and heard Jesus ask him why he was persecuting Him.

Paul, who was Saul before his conversion, was a fierce persecutor of Christians. He also approved the first stoning of a Christian, Steven, whom the apostles appointed as a deacon in the early church.

Acts 7:57:58 “…they all rushed at him (Stephen), dragged him out of the city, and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul….”  And Saul was there, giving approval to his death.

After this event, Saul began his persecution. Saul began to seek out Christians from house to house, dragging off men and women to put them in prison.

Who does this today – drags Christians from their homes to imprison or kill them? Muslims. Saul was no different than a Muslim who persecutes Christians today, until he was blinded and truly able to see by the Messiah Himself. Saul, like Muslims, took up the sword to punish Christians. So it’s not hard to see Jewish men in the first century having a fierce hatred towards Christians. The Jews felt that the Christians were blaspheming their God by claiming Him as the Christians’ God, not only for the Jewish people but salvation for the Gentiles.

Acts 22:4-5 “I persecuted the followers of this Way to their death, arresting both men and women and throwing them into prison, as also the high priest and all the Council can testify. I even obtained letters from them to their brothers in Damascus, and went there to bring these people as prisoners to Jerusalem to be punished.”

Saul’s persecutions led to the death of Christian men and women living in and near Jerusalem. His hatred was fierce. While these men and women were imprisoned, he went through their letters and found other Christians living in Damascus. So he decided to set out. But something happened. God chose Saul, the persecutor of His people, to spread His Word. Jesus came to him, asking why he was persecuting Him. Saul’s conversion began.

He was blinded, but then he was truly able to see when he reached Damascus. When God removed his blindness, He removed his hardened heart. His hatred for Christians left with his blindness. The fierce hunter of Christians became a fierce warrior for Christ. The hunter also soon became the hunted. Saul was now Paul, fearless in the eyes of all men in his pursuit to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Acts 9:20-22 “At once he (Paul of Tarsus) began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God. All those who heard him were astonished and asked, ‘Isn’t he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this name? And hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?’ Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Christ.”

The Jewish people could not understand this. A Jew that hunted Christians is now telling them he is a Christian?

Paul’s conversion on the road to Damascus changed the course of human history. Paul was both Roman and Jewish. God chose him to begin teaching salvation through Jesus Christ to all men, Gentile and Jew. Much of what Paul wrote in the New Testament is believed to have been written while he was imprisoned. About 25% of the NT is written by Paul. It was through Paul that the Gentiles were first hearing the gospel, and it was Paul that admonished the other apostles for not including the Gentiles in all things Christ.

The Christian roots of Damascus have long been forgotten. Unlike today, where people question the very existence of Jesus, the disciples weren’t trying to prove the existence of Jesus; they were proving the divinity of Jesus. They were proving He was the Messiah, the living Son of God. There was no question He existed and no question He changed the world. It wasn’t until the last couple of centuries that His existence really started to be questioned.

Syria played a vital role in the spread of Christianity. Today, it plays a vital role in terrorism. Today, there are many “Saul’s” persecuting Christians.

Eastern Ghouta, a suburb of Damascus, has been under siege and held by the rebel forces since 2011, until this month. The Syrian army recently defeated the rebels and took Eastern Ghouta back. This is the first time Assad’s army has controlled Eastern Ghouta in six years.

Two weeks ago there was a chemical weapons attack that allegedly killed several dozen, including children. The question is why and who? Why would Assad, who just had a decisive victory, use chemical weapons? It doesn’t add up, I’m afraid.

The US, France and Britain strike on the chemical facilities in Syria, I’m willing to bet, is the spark that will lead to the destruction of Damascus and World War 3.

This gives Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan all the more reason to march towards Damascus in the name of rooting out terrorists. The rebels have been unable to seize Damascus and have just lost Eastern Ghouta. The Turkish military under Erdogan won’t be so easy to beat. Erdogan has his eyes on Israel. He has been very vocal about this, but is still a member of NATO.  This leads me to believe this is why the other nations will suddenly stop and ask, wait, where are you going? He is going to Israel.

Ezekiel 38:13 “Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all its villages, shall say unto you, Have you come to take plunder? have you gathered your company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?”

Sheba and Dedan are in Saudi Arabia. Tarshish is believed by many to be Western Europe (think Brexit!), and the young lions I believe to be the United States. The U.S. has protected Israel and will continue to protect Israel and her interests. Surprisingly, Saudi Arabia is allied with Israel, just as prophesied.

The nations with the most hatred against Israel are now fully engaged in Syria. If the world was a Risk board-game, we would see one giant buildup in Syria from every nation in the world. Recep Tayyip Erdogan is leading the anti-Israeli rhetoric.

After recent remarks by Erdogan about marching to Jerusalem and accusing Israel of murdering Palestinian children, Benjamin Netanyahu replied, “I am not used to receiving lectures about morality from a leader who bombs Kurdish villagers in his native Turkey, who jails journalists, who helps Iran get around international sanctions, and who helps terrorists, including in Gaza, kill innocent people.”

“That is not the man who is going to lecture us,” he added.

Erdogan is reviving the Ottoman Empire. He is threatening Israel. And his invasion of Syria has also put Iraq on his radar. The Gog Magog war will be led by Turkey.

Magog was the son of Japheth, who was the son of Noah. After Noah’s flood, Magog and his brothers settled in modern-day Turkey, not Russia.  Gog is simply the name of the land that Magog settled. The name is in the genealogies of Genesis 10:1-3 and 1 Chron. 1:5-6.

In Bible prophecy, Magog represents the leader of Turkey.

When Assyria attacked Israel, there were two separate kingdoms within Israel. Northern Israel was headquartered in Samaria, and southern Israel, or Judah, in Jerusalem. The proposed peace plans have all included two separate “kingdoms” – a “two-state” solution. The last time Israel was divided within itself, the Jewish people were invaded, slaughtered and carried off into slavery by the “Assyrians.”  Israel is going to divide again, in the name of peace, and the “Assyrian” has just invaded Syria again. Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Assyria included parts of Northern Iraq, northeastern Syria, southeastern Turkey and northwestern Iran. Erdogan is gaining power and is planning his united “Islamic army” to invade Israel. Not only are we seeing the nations of the Ezekiel 38 war starting to build up all over Syria, the Psalm 83 nations are amassing on the Israeli border in what they are calling “the right of return.” May 15 is approaching, and the riots on the Gaza border are getting more violent. Will the 70th anniversary of Israel’s rebirth be the beginning of Daniels 70thweek?

If the inner circle of nations do indeed invade Israel’s border fence, there will be a massive response from Israel. The world doesn’t seem to care what is happening in Syria. The U.N. doesn’t care how many children die in Syria. One Palestinian death, Hamas related or not, is worth more to the international community than all of the dead children in Syria.

I strongly believe the Psalm 83 war will precede the Ezekiel war. The destruction of Damascus may very well happen in the coming days. Whatever peace covenant Israel makes will be canceled.

Isaiah 28:14-16, 18 “Therefore, hear the word of the LORD, O scoffers, who rule this people who are in Jerusalem, because you have said, ‘We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we have made a pact. The overwhelming scourge will not reach us when it passes by, for we have made falsehood our refuge and we have concealed ourselves with deception.’

“Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, ‘Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, a costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed… Your covenant with death will be canceled, and your pact with Sheol will not stand; When the overwhelming scourge passes through, then you become its trampling.”

I believe the Psalm 83 war is what brings a false, temporary peace to Israel. It will halt Erdogan now, but this simply gives him more time to acquire his Islamic army from many nations, as mentioned in the Bible. Israel being victorious will enrage much of the Muslim world.

Ezekiel 38:11 says Israel will feel secure and be living in safety when they are attacked by this coalition. This cannot be said right now. In EZEKIEL 38:13 is where the other nations will question the true motives. The Palestinian motives are already known.

In Ezekiel 39:9, Israel (IDF) is clearly victorious because they will burn their enemies’ weapons for seven years as energy and fuel. If this was Armageddon, then you have to explain why they would burn these weapons for energy and fuel when God’s presence, in all His glory, is what illuminates the new Holy City. Ezekiel 39:9 is a reference to nuclear energy Israel will use as their own. Are these seven years the same as the tribulation’s seven years? The first half is safety and peace, and the second half brings destruction.

1 Thess. 5:3 “For when they shall say, ‘Peace and safety;’ then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

Turkish President Erdogan, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani met together this month over Syria. The pope has met with all three. Why is a religious leader meeting privately with world leaders that call for the destruction of Israel and the Jewish people?  These are not average world leaders. These are the strongest military forces in the region. Two are anti-Christianity, Iran and Turkey, as they both deny Jesus Christ and imprison Christians!

These wars are going to be something we haven’t seen in our lifetime. What better time is there for a one-world religion than after two massive “religious” wars? To bring all religions and nations together in order to prevent another slaughter in the Holy Land.

Ezekiel 39:11-12 says that the dead will be buried over a period of seven months. There would be no need to bury the dead if this war is what brings Jesus Christ’s Second Coming.

Immediately after Satan’s final rebellion, talked about in Revelation, is the Great White Throne of judgment (20:11-15)

I believe the Psalm 83 war will bring in the signing of a peace deal between Israel, Erdogan and an Islamic coalition. Who better to help negotiate a religion of peace than the pope? The signing of the peace deal will begin the seven-year tribulation.

After the Psalm 83 war and the peace treaty, Israel will remain a sovereign state, but they will feel safe. For a time. It’s during the time of safety that the temple will be rebuilt. Jews do not believe their Messiah can come without this temple. It’s hard to picture the Palestinians letting them build this temple peacefully. But for three and one half years they will have peace.

During this time Erdogan and surrounding nations will continue to plot against Israel.

There is one nation Jesus said held the seat of Satan, and that is Turkey. Psalm 83 must happen first because, during the Ezekiel invasion, Israel will be living securely. Right now, they are anything but secure.

Revelation 2:13 “I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is….”

An interesting note is there’s no mention of Satan in Ezekiel 38-39, but he is in Revelation. Satan has used many kingdoms and kings throughout history to slaughter the Jews and Christians and to take the Holy Land.

The names may have changed but the people and places are the same. Antioch is where the first Gentile Church was built. The evidence for Christianity throughout Syria is evident. Syria was an important and vital country for the spread of Christianity in the first century.

During the Ottoman Empire, Christians were plundered and then killed or forced to convert. Once a major hub for trade, Damascus has indeed grown feeble.

Jeremiah 49:24 “Damascus has grown feeble; She turns to flee, and fear has seized her. Anguish and sorrows have taken her like a woman in labor.”

My understanding of God’s word is that Damascus’ falling and Psalm 83 will happen relatively close together in time.

Ezekiel 35:10:11 “Because you have said, ‘These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess them,’ although the LORD was there, ‘therefore, as I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘I will do according to your anger and according to the envy which you showed in your hatred against them; and I will make Myself known among them when I judge you.’”

Israel being victorious over Jordan and the Palestinians will enrage the Muslim world; they are going to want blood and swift revenge. They will begin their plotting and planning, and then something happens. Pope Francis possibly steps in performing miracles and merges all religions. But the Muslims won’t do that, you say? The similarities between Islam and Catholicism are astounding. I have outlined these similarities in previous articles. These two religions make up almost 3 billion people worldwide. After the massive loss of life in Israel and Jordan, the people will beg for peace.

Daniel 9:27 “Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.”

Could it be that the pope will help broker this peace treaty? The pope is certainly shocking his fellow Catholics with the blasphemous things that he says, such as atheists can go to heaven without belief. This is not true, and they are being condemned to hell, by God, through a major religious leader’s words. I have a hard time accepting that Christians and Jews will bow down to Erdogan as God. I can see weak Christians and the Jewish people waiting for their messiah, believing in a false messiah though

The false prophet and Antichrist will begin the worst persecution of Christians and Jews that the world has ever experienced. Christians throughout Africa, Asia and the Middle East have been under a systematic Islamic genocide since the start of the Syrian war. As the world watches Syria, Nigeria has been slaughtering Christians by the thousands and demolishing villages.

Matthew 24:21 “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

Pope Francis has slowly been delegitimizing the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. He is now denying the existence of hell. Pope Francis called Jesus Christ a failure, yet we know He is victorious.

One end-time Islamic teaching is that Jesus will return and will declare himself a Muslim. I can easily see the pope claiming to be a Muslim. They also believe all other religions will be destroyed. Crosses will all be destroyed. The Muslim messiah will pursue the Islamic “Antichrist” into Israel to defeat him. They believe a “great” beast will rise that calls the world to worship Allah. Their messiah (Mahdi) is our Antichrist; our Antichrist is their Messiah.

We don’t know exactly how things are going to unfold, but we know these things will happen. Since the moment President Trump announced the embassy move, prophecy has spiraled towards World War 3. As Christians, we know these things must take place before the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior. As Christians, we see the signs; we know Jacob’s trouble is near. Stay strong and faithful in God’s word. Be like Paul—a fearless warrior for Christ!

Matthew 24:4-9 “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

I know your works and where you dwell

“You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.’ Thus says the Lord God: ‘Are you he of whom I have spoken in former days by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied for years in those days that I would bring you against them?’” (Eze 38:16-17).

Noah had a son named Japheth who had a son named Magog who settled Turkey or RUSSIA. Gog is a shortened version of Magog. Gog is the land that Magog ruled over.

Gomer, Meshech, Tubal and Magog all have ancient ties to one another.

The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.

“Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: ‘Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you’” (Eze 38:2-6).

Jerome, a prominent church leader (345–420 A.D.), said the land of Magog was north of the Caucasus Mountains, near the Caspian Sea. Josephus, first-century author and historian, associated the name “Magog” with the Scythians. A major group of Scythians lived near the Black Sea. So, the land of Magog was located near the Black and Caspian Seas north of the Caucasus Mountains, which today would be today’s southern Russia.

Greek writers called the people of Meshech the “Moschoi,” and Assyrian’s referred to them as the “Muski.” They settled around modern-day Armenia. Armenia borders Russia, Iran and Turkey – three of the nations to attack Israel.

The people of Tubal were located in the central part of Turkey immediately west of Togarmah.

Remember, biblically, every location spoken comes from the standpoint of being in Jerusalem, not the West. When many people think of World War Three, they think of Armageddon, but there ARE other wars that precede this final battle before Christ returns.

“O ASSYRIAN, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few” (Isaiah 10:5-7).

The Assyrian is the Antichrist, while the Antichrist and Gog are different people.

The Gog war brings specific nations together against Israel (Eze 38:2-9), whereas the battle of Armageddon brings all nations of the earth together to do battle in Israel.

This invasion by Gog and her allies is to take spoil from Israel (Eze 38:12-13; 39:10). But Armageddon is to destroy Israel and unite in war against Christ (Rev 16:12).

There is also no mention of a peace deal with the Gog invasion, but the Antichrist violates a peace agreement leaving Israel betrayed (Dan 9:27).

The Gog nations apparently do not reach Jerusalem, as there is no mention of Jerusalem. Instead, the invading armies fall on the mountains and open fields of Israel. This would most likely be the Golan Heights that Israel recaptured from Syria during the 1967 war (Eze 39:4-5).

There is no mention of the end-time plagues and judgments before the invasion lead by Gog, but the battle of Armageddon will be preceded by several plagues and judgments.

The defeat of Gog’s invading armies will lead to a massive spiritual revival in Israel because the defeat could only come from God. But there is no mention of Christ (Eze 38:23; 39:21-22).

Armageddon, on the other hand, brings spiritual renewal of Israel under the New Covenant where Israel accepts Christ (Jer 31:31-34; Zech 12:10).

In Ezekiel 39:4 Gog will be killed in battle, while Revelation 19:20 says the Antichrist will be thrown alive into the Lake of Fire.

The nation of Israel must be returned to the God of their fathers before they will begin to recognize and accept Jesus Christ as their Messiah—the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God uses Gog’s invasion to awaken His people.

Magog, Meshech, and Tubal are ancient people. They were also brothers. Togarmah is the son of Gomer. They are of the first families to resettle the world after Noah’s flood. They began to settle together in modern-day Turkey. Turkey plays a significant role in the last days according to the Bible.

Revelation Chapter 2, verse 12-13: “And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write: These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is…”

Jesus tells us He knows where Satan’s seat is – in Pergamos, Turkey. This was referring to a massive altar that sat on a hill in Pergamum. The Greeks originally built the enormous structure in the 2nd century B.C. as a temple dedicated to Zeus. Interestingly, the altar was sent to Berlin in the 19th century. In 1934, Hitler ordered construction of the Tribune at Zeppelin Field in Nuremberg specifically for the purpose of his Nazi rallies. There are many false and pagan gods described in the Bible, but only one was openly referred to as Satan.

What is also interesting is, Turkey, after failing to convince Germany to return the altar, built an exact replica of the ancient altar on the same ancient site in Pergamum.

The seven spirits or churches are in Turkey, and five of the eight Gog nations were within Turkey. The Bible has continued to highlight Turkey for a reason.

The Bible emphasizes in Isaiah and Micah the future conflict between the Messiah and the Assyrian, who was a type of Antichrist. These prophecies also point us to the regions of the ancient Assyrian Empire, which held large portions of modern Turkey.

Turkey is located in the center of the Caucasus region, Middle East and the Balkans; this is undoubtedly the most unstable region in the world. Despite Turkey’s western ties since World War Two, her history is deeply rooted in an anti-Christian and anti-Jewish spirit. That spirit has again surfaced under Erdogan’s leadership.

Muslims feel Islam must be re-established where it was wounded. Her wound came in 1924 with the fall of the Ottoman Empire, in Turkey.

The KJV describes the Antichrist as “Stout” in Daniel 7:20.

“And of the ten horns that were on his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.”

The Merriam’s dictionary definition of the word stout is:

Strong of character: such as BRAVE, BOLD, FIRM, DETERMINED. Also: OBSTINATE, UNCOMPROMISING, FORCEFUL; also violent.

Recep Erdogan became prime minister of Turkey in 2003, and in 2014 became its president. He is a devout Muslim. He has stirred up many people across the Middle East with his fierce animosity towards Israel. He has a strong and commanding presence and wants to be considered the Islamic superpower in the Middle East.

Erdogan has taken a strong hold of many Muslims, and he is pushing for Islamic pride and unity among Arab nations. His commanding presence has even had some Muslims refer to him as “god” and to also worship him.

While most Middle Eastern leaders are being besieged, exiled or even killed, Turkey’s President Erdogan is popular, and that popularity is gaining. He is under no threat of losing his power. In fact, the Bible tells us he will gain power.

Ezekiel tells us that Russia, in alliance with Turkey and Iran, will gather a massive army against Israel, to plunder the land.

When these nations move against Israel, a few other nations like Sheba and Dedan (Saudi Arabia), the merchants of Tarshish (from UK) with all the young lions thereof (would include US) will ask what this coalition is doing. They are supposed to be stabilizing Syria, but they will suddenly head to Israel – most likely to the contested Golan Heights (Ezekiel 38:13).

During the 1967 war, in addition to the Golan Heights, Jerusalem was also recaptured by the IDF. For the first time in almost 2,000 years, the Jewish people were in control of the Temple Mount. Instead of immediately removing any remnants of pagan gods, they not only left the mosques and blasphemies, they gave Jordan control of it.

God said on this mountain in Jerusalem, He will place His name.

Deuteronomy 12:3 “And you shall overthrow their altars, and break their stone idols, and burn their idol poles with fire; and you shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.”

“Then the angel of the Lord came to Gilgal to Bochim, and said: I led you up from Egypt and brought you to the land of which I swore to your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you. And you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall tear down their altars. But you have not obeyed my voice. Why have you done this? Therefore I also said, I will not drive them out before you; but they shall be thorns in your side, and their gods shall be a snare to you (Judges 2:1-3).

The Jewish people were warned by God not to allow pagan worship near them. DESTROY FALSE GODS AND THEIR ALTARS. They didn’t do that. Now, fifty years later, Jerusalem is still being disputed; temples (mosques) remain on God’s mountain, and the Jews are not even allowed to pray on their own ancient Temple Mount.

Everything God has warned the Jewish people not to do, they have ignored.

As Israel continues to be surrounded by her enemies, Trump’s peace plan is about to be revealed any day. Meanwhile, Erdogan is vowing to launch a new invasion into the Kurdish region of Syria, which borders Turkey. He’s already been killing the Kurds on a smaller, quieter scale, and nobody has said anything!

Jeremiah 49:23 “Against Damascus. Hama and Arpad are shamed, For they have heard bad news. They are fainthearted; There is trouble on the sea; It cannot be quiet.”

Hamah and Arpad are modern-day Tel Rifaat. In the 48 hours following Pres. Trump’s decision to let Erdogan control Syria, militants have started shelling areas near Tel Rifaat which is supposed to be a de-escalation zone. The residents are in fear of the coming Turkish military. Turkey being in control of Syria has made many fainthearted indeed.

A Turkish journalist, Hamza Tekin, recently said: “Turkey has now entered the stage of final preparations or the final touch, as it is called, of the military operation. There is a final resolution of launching the operation […]. We might be left with a few hours or days; at any moment, the military operation might start.”

“Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, And all the men of war shall be cut off in that day,” says the Lord of hosts. ‘I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, And it shall consume the palaces of Ben-Hadad” (Jer 49:26-27).

The Bible tells us Damascus will be destroyed in one night, in one hour. Not only will Damascus cease from being a city, even the palaces are destroyed. This would be Bashar Al Assad’s Presidential palace in Damascus.

Turkey, Russia and Iran have been meeting together a lot over the last year. They are planning a new Syria, with a new “constitution” of sorts. They are discussing how to bring “peace and safety” to the Mediterranean. The media tells the narrative that Erdogan wants Assad removed from power, but does he really? It seems that has changed.

In 2017, Erdogan attended a summit in Russia where he sat down with Assad’s two primary allies, Vladimir Putin and Iran’s Hassan Rouhani. They reportedly discussed a solution for the Syrian conflict.

When he was asked if Ankara was ready to work with the Assad regime against the Kurdish-ruled north Syria, he said:

“In politics, the doors are open until the very last moment… What may happen tomorrow is tied to the circumstances then.”

When asked about the possibility of reestablishing relations with Damascus, he said: “It is not right to rule out anything on this issue.”

Turkey and Iran are united on the Kurds and have met several times over the YPG and PKK, while Netanyahu has accused Turkey of massacring the Kurdish people. Russia has had a friendly relationship with the Kurdish people, making it plausible they will turn to Russia for help after the U.S. withdrawal.

Out of chaos and war come peaceful negotiations. In comes the Trump peace plan. Erdogan will be drawn to accept this deal. What this peace plan brings is a lie from Erdogan’s lips. He, along with other Islamic leaders, will acknowledge or confirm that the Jews have a historical right to Jerusalem through ancient biblical ties.

The Bible says the Antichrist will confirm a covenant with many, not just Israel.

Erdogan is on a mission to rebuild the Ottoman Empire, which ruled over Jerusalem politically and religiously for four centuries. Erdogan wants Jerusalem, and he’s telling us he’s going to take it. He is also telling us he is going to slaughter the Kurds, and NOBODY is listening or they simply don’t care.

He wants all of Islam to unify and fight for Jerusalem, and sees it as his role to lead the Islamic battle for this purpose. He can’t have Mecca so He will take Jerusalem by force. Turkey is becoming the magnet to many Muslim nations and wants nothing more than to place an ally in power in Syria. Turkey is also the bridge between The Middle East and Europe.

Trump needs Erdogan’s help in managing the Black Sea to contain Russia’s expanding hold on the region. Everyone sees Russia as the only major threat, completely ignoring Erdogan, and especially ignoring Bible prophecy.

The recent development puts the Kurds in a position of being alone in Syria without U.S. participation. Israel has especially grown concerned with President Trump’s sudden withdrawal in Syria.

The three major nations that invade Israel (Russia, Turkey and Iran) are on the Israeli border, without the U.S. Will the Gog war of Ezekiel be what brings the cries for peace and safety in Israel?

The Kurds are the modern descendants of the ancient Medes. They are an Indo-European people that aligned with the Persians (Iran) during their successful military campaign to overthrow ancient Babylon. This established them as a world power in the 6th century BC. The Persians, who joined the Medes mid-campaign, ended up becoming the superpower in their coalition. Together, the Medes and the Persians reigned for over 200 years until Alexander the Great defeated them.

Turkey views Kurdish forces allied with both the U.S. and Israel as terrorists. Military experts have said that the Turkish military will engage the Kurds – not if, but when, and they will turn to Iran with Trump’s withdrawal. God said what is has already been.

The possibility of a free Kurdistan nation isn’t popular among non-Kurds. Turkey has fought with its own Kurdish population in a decades-long conflict that has resulted in 30,000 to 40,000 Kurds being killed since 1984. The Syrian regime repressed any Kurdish rights in the area, and Saddam Hussein slaughtered tens of thousands of Kurds in the country’s north. He gassed them, leading to babies being born with deformities years later.

Israel is the only nation that has openly endorsed a free Kurdistan nation. With the U.S. present in Syria, Turkey was held at bay. Now there is nothing to stop him from moving through Syria and towards Israel.

Christians in the Middle East share a bond with the Kurds, as they are both minorities. This doesn’t mean they always agree politically, but both being persecuted in the region has led to a relationship of sorts.

In 2016 Peter Galbraith, US diplomat, said, “The Kurdish areas have its own government that functions well, has its own military, it has a source of revenue, and the population almost unanimously supports independence… so it’s a door that needs to be walked through.”

In response to Erdogan’s latest threats to invade the Kurdish region of Syria, the Pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) denounced it with a statement that read: “President Erdoğan and his government should abandon this irrational stance which will lead to destruction and suffering in the region. We urge the national and international public to show alertness towards such threats and not to remain silent.”

“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” (2 Thes 2:3-4).

The little horn spoken of by Daniel will come “up among them,” meaning from the 10 horns that were the kingdoms of Western Europe (Daniel 7:8).

In Daniel 7:4 the Bible says he will be DIFFERENT from the other nations. Turkey is certainly different than the other nations, being that they are all European nations, while Turkey has been fighting for membership.

In Daniel 7:8 we are told that he will uproot three Kingdoms. Many fear a slaughter of Christians and Kurdish people is coming, with Erdogan leading the way.  In Daniel 7:21 we read that the Antichrist will in fact kill those that don’t worship the beast. Great and small, free and bond, rich and poor.

The Bible tells us he would emerge from the Roman Empire, which will be the fourth kingdom (Daniel 7:7-8).

Modern-day Turkey was in fact a part of the Roman Empire. Remember, the soldiers from the 10th Roman legion were of Turkish and Syrian descent.

The Bible goes on to say that God’s people, the saints, would “be given into his hand” for “a time and times and half a time” (Daniel 7:25).

With all of the uncertainty in the Middle East right now, one thing is certain. God knows what He is doing. He is in control, and the hooks have been placed into the Jaws of Gog.

Within days of the US announcing its withdrawal from Syria, Israel launched attacks on Iranian facilities in Damascus (just after two suspicious Iranian cargo planes took off from there). After the Israeli airstrikes, Russia accused Israel of a “gross violation of Syria’s sovereignty. They also accused Israel of jeopardizing civilian flights.

Where Israeli-Russian ties have warmed over the last couple of years, they have suddenly hit freezing mode. Russia is set to meet with the leader of Hamas, and Israel is furiously objecting, to which Russia has shrugged. The relationship began to cool after Israel was blamed for a Russian military plane accidentally getting shot down by Syria while engaging Israeli military jet fighters. 2,500 years ago, the prophet Ezekiel gave us these prophecies, and today, we are watching them come to fruition.

President Trump’s “sudden” withdrawal may not be as sudden as some think, and it very likely has everything to do with his coming peace proposal. But with his withdrawal, the three leading nations of the Gog invasion are going to feel emboldened. Through their arrogance, God will use them to bring Israel back to Him, paving the way for the return of His Son, Jesus Christ.

1 Thess 5:3-5 “For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.”

Welcome! My purpose is to study Gods word and spread His message through my writing…

As Christians, we are to put on the whole armor of God and not be deceived in these last days. Join me, as I show you through current geopolitical events, that the return of Jesus Christ is near, and what role Islam, the Vatican and the global politics across the world play.

You don’t have to be a Christian to see the change in the world. You don’t have to be a Christian to take notice of the huge increases in rape, assault and murder. Christian persecution is on the rise as are attacks on Jews. Gods people are under attack and it will only get worse.

Jesus said He did not come to unite or bring peace. He came to bring a sword. What is His sword? It’s the word of God. When you can debate with an unbeliever and use Gods word to destroy their argument, You’ve used the sword of God.

The Luciferian Globalist agenda has been unleashed. The Globalists want bridges not borders. They want a unified world. This is in direct contradiction to Gods word. In Babylon, the first attempt at globalization was stopped by God. He confused their language and the people gave up on the tower and settled in different areas.

Islam has played a major role in the reshaping of our world. The spirit of Antichrist has taken hold of the world and its christians, the light of the world, that are called to spread the gospel.

Spreading the gospel doesn’t mean you have to repeatedly try and share Christ’s message if it’s rejected, but it’s good if you do. The Bible tells us to shake the dust from our feet and move on to the next town. There are  many more who will welcome the gospel, some will still reject Him, while others will accept Him. If they don’t have the Holy Spirit, they will never accept Christ without it.

God told us of the signs to come before the return of His Son, Jesus. We were even warned not to be deceived and how we could be. Jesus told us He will NOT be in the “inner or upper rooms.” Who owns the upper room in Jerusalem? The Vatican. So in other words if you hear the Pope say,Jesus is here in the upper room, IT’S A LIE.

He also told us He will not be in the desert. What is in the desert? Numerous Islamic countries, including Turkey. Jesus is not returning to Iraq or Turkey or Saudi Arabia. He specifically told us HOW and WHERE He is returning. To the Mount of Olives, where He departed. He left in the clouds and will return on the clouds, in great glory.

Remember biblically speaking, everything that happens is all in relation to and relevant to Israel. Israel is the center of everything in the Bible, and in these last days, Israel has never been more important or volatile. God said He’d make Jerusalem a trembling cup and it certainly is.

What happens to,and around Israel, IS the world. God is not in heaven with the American flag draped over His shoulders. Gods hand is involved, there is no doubt of that. The United States is the largest Christian nation in the world and God has blessed this nation again because we have blessed Israel.

My articles are something I write while studying scripture, praying and watching our geopolitical world in action. I won’t just throw something out there, I study and write my articles in  hope I can make as many people understand bible prophecy and the last days we are living in, because it’s all right there, in the Bible.

I pray that you will learn something new, or understand something you didn’t grasp before. As brothers and sisters in Christ, we must learn from one another, pray for one another and most of all, spread the gospel to the ends of the earth!

God Bless you all.
