Satan, Feminists & the Daughters of Eve

Feminism and Islam
Feminists (and leftists) all over the world are singing the praises of Islam as a peaceful religion of tolerance and acceptance while ignoring the mass crime happening due to their immigration policies.

The biggest victim of the mass invasion into Europe by Islamic men is women—particularly Christian women.

Imams across the U.S. and world preach in their mosques that women are inferior to men. Women all over the Middle East cover their bodies from head to toe with burkas. The left and terrorist groups like ISIS tell us it’s liberating for a woman to cover herself. Feminist groups are trying to convince women all over the West that the burka is fashionable, ignoring the fact that women liberated from ISIS-held towns REMOVE their Burka.

Feminist groups used to fight for real women’s rights – fair pay, no sexual harassment or discrimination, and the right to vote. Now they fight against anything Middle America is for. Feminism is nothing more than leftism, and leftism is anything anti-Christ. Feminist women fight the notion that a man should take care of his family. They reject this idea as misogynist – unless of course you are Muslim – that makes subjugation of women okay.

“Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means” [al-Nisaa’ 4:34]

This sort of feminism is accepted in the West. Why? Because it’s from Islam. Imagine if a Christian pastor told his congregation that men are smarter than women. The women would be offended and would turn from the church. Many would demand apologies, and it still wouldn’t be good enough. Yet in mosques all over the world, young men are taught that they are smarter than women, and Allah made them that way.

What is it about Muslim men that attract feminists? Could it be they are seeking the masculinity they have chased from the West? They have a completely warped view of what masculinity is. They have embraced the toxic masculinity they accuse Western men of having, while demonizing them for simply asking a girl for her phone number.

These feminists are notorious for finding fault with Western men while ignoring the real plight of women in Islam. They have embraced an anti-American doctrine that aligns with Islam, particularly with Iran. They portray the U.S. as an oppressive nation, ignoring the mass atrocities happening all over the world. Islam is a political system with a medieval ideology that teaches all non-Muslims must either convert or die.

Islam never left the Middle Ages. They still promote the same ideas their fathers 1,000 years ago promoted. Convert or die. It’s that’s simple. Yet women support Sharia in droves, not understanding exactly what this means.

The vulgar hats many wore after President Trump was elected? They’re against Sharia law. Not covering your body appropriately? That’s also against Sharia law. The vulgar signs and language? That’s also against Sharia law. If your husband decided to beat you for attending a women’s rally? Well, that’s part of Sharia law. Linda Sarsour is hailed as a women’s rights activist, yet also promotes Sharia. Her feminist claims are in direct contradiction with the Sharia law she advocates for.

In Islam, murder and rape of women is common. Honor killings, where a father will murder his daughter for something as innocent as her headscarf revealing her hair, is all too common in some parts of the world. A father bashed his little girl’s skull in for this very offense. Little girls are brutally raped and then murdered by their family to erase the “shame” of their rape.

Rape and sexual slavery are common in many Muslim nations. One Muslim woman found her father brutally raping her two-year old. Instead of getting the police or stopping him, she drowned the little girl to hide her shame. This is not something that rarely happens; it happens often. It’s also not something that only happens in the Middle East.

Right now in the UK, Tommy Robinson, a well-known and outspoken conservative activist, is sitting in a London prison for daring to cover news of a current trial in which several Muslim men were accused of raping and sexually grooming women and young girls for sex trafficking—some of the girls as young as 11.

In the UK and across Europe, Muslims have taken over once peaceful cities and towns. They have enforced no-go zones with strict Sharia law in effect. In the UK, police officers rarely enter these areas. Sweden, once a beautiful crime-free haven, is now referred to as “the rape capital of the world.” Young girls and women are warned not to travel alone or go out at night. The people elected the first “feminist” leader, who also fully supports Sharia law.

In Germany, it’s no better. The police aren’t deporting these rapists; they are demonizing the rape victims. They are arresting people for making a meme of a Muslim, meanwhile young women are being raped in record numbers across Europe. Each of these countries has one major thing in common – the mass Islamic immigration they have allowed, and continue to allow, has directly hurt its citizens.

Tommy Robinson was arrested, convicted and sentenced within one hour. Unlike the “migrants” whose trial he was covering, he wasn’t afforded due process. His arrest was then ordered silenced, and a media gag was attached. If it weren’t for people in countries such as the U.S. and Australia, he would have simply vanished.

Rape has skyrocketed in places where new migrants have been placed. The government and media have silenced anyone talking about it.

This goes to show how depraved the left has become. They have advanced a Sharia-type law on their citizens to keep their power and control. The more Muslim immigrants they bring in, the more votes they get. Crime, including murder, has more than doubled in London this year alone. With men like Tommy out of the way, “infidels” (non-Muslim) women are left alone. Will Tommy’s arrest be a wake-up call? Let’s pray it is.

Now, let’s compare Islamic teaching to the teachings of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when it comes to women.

In the Koran, it’s permissible to beat your wife. It’s also clear the man supports the wife monetarily; so in return, she must be obedient or face a beating.

“As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (next) refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all)” Sura 4:34.

Jesus never told men to beat their wives. He never said to not sleep with your wife as punishment. In fact, what the Bible says is:

“Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control”
(1 Corinthians 7:5).

Domestic violence is in direct contradiction of God’s plan for husbands and wives. Genesis depicts marriage as becoming one flesh. Eve was created as a helpmate in the relationship, not his subordinate. Ephesians 5:21 talks about mutual submission, husbands submitting to their wives, and vice versa.

“It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband.”

As a Christian man, your wife is your helpmate. She is to be protected by you; she is to feel safe with you and loved. The Bible specifically says to give your wife affection, and likewise the wives are to render affection to their husbands. You belong to her and she belongs to you, just as equal; and you both belong to Christ. God didn’t tell men not to touch a woman because women are inferior. Rather, when a man has a wife, not all of his focus is on God; some of it is put to his wife, and likewise the same for women (1 Corinthians 7:32-35).

“The wife has not power over her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband has not power over his own body, but the wife” (1 Corinthians 7:4).

A husband is not to abuse his wife, hit his wife, or talk down to his wife. He will enter heaven no faster than his wife. And likewise, a woman should respect and love her husband. Unlike in Islam, God does not have a better Heaven for men; we are all equal in His eyes.

Aisha, Muhammad’s 6 or 7-year old child bride, noted one woman was beaten so badly that her skin was green.

“I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women. Look! Her skin is greener than her clothes!” Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 72, Number 715.

“The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: A man will not be asked as to why he BEAT his wife. ‘Listen! Treat women kindly; they are like prisoners in your hands. Beyond this you do not owe anything from them. Should they be guilty of flagrant misbehaviour, you may remove them from your beds, and BEAT them……. (he says re women’s rights)…Their right is that you should treat them well in the matter of food and clothing” Abu Dawud Book 11, Number 2142: Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab.

Mohammed compares women to prisoners, teaching that they are due only food and clothing.
Does this sound like something Jesus would condone? Or his disciples? No. If any man professes himself to be a born-again true Christian, he wouldn’t hit his wife, nor would the thought ever cross his mind. He also wouldn’t talk down to her or demean her.

Jesus told married men exactly how to treat their wives – AS HE LOVED THEM. He loved us so much that He willingly sacrificed Himself. He loved us so much that He went to prepare a wonderful, beautiful place for us to be with Him. The church, meaning Christians, is the bride of Christ.

While Jewish men were thankful they weren’t born women, they certainly didn’t physically abuse them. Some of the most beautiful poetry you will find is written in the Bible. The Shulamite woman was clearly loved and adored by Solomon:

“O my love, you are as beautiful as Tirzah,
Lovely as Jerusalem,
Awesome as an army with banners!
Turn your eyes away from me,
For they have overcome me” (Song of Solomon 6:4-5).

The early church members were predominantly Jewish. At Synagogue, men and women worshipped separately and had for generations; and in the early church it remained that way. In the first century, Jewish men included the following prayer to God: “Praised be God that he has not created me a woman.”

Women filled the early church, but these men weren’t going to start listening to some woman teach them, not yet. A first century rabbi named Eliezer said, “Rather should the word of the Torah be burned than entrusted to a woman.”

Throughout the Bible, we see God’s love and mercy for His people. He has used many people from all walks of life to lead you to Him. He has used women many times throughout the Bible, Gentiles too.

Rahab was a prostitute and a Gentile, but she feared the God of Israel; she hid two Israeli spies on her roof from the King of Jericho. She lied to her earthly king out of fear of the spiritual King—the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! Rahab, a woman living in sin and part of a people that worshipped false pagan gods, helped the Israeli spies.

In the genealogies in the book of Matthew, we find that Rahab married one of the spies she hid! Salmon. She was also the mother of Boaz who married Rahab, whose son Obed had Jesse. Through the genealogy that Rahab was a part of, we have the line of David, which leads to the root of David, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

“And Salmon begat Boaz of Rahab; and Boaz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse” (Matthew 1:5).

Rahab represents Christianity, the Gentile nation grafted into God’s covenant with the Jewish people.

God never said a woman’s judgment can’t be trusted, but Mohammed did.

“And get two witnesses out of your own men. And if there are not two men (available), then a man and two women, such as you agree for witnesses, so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her…” Al-Qur’an 2:282.

Here we see that the word of a woman is not trusted by Muslim men. Yet Jesus trusted women so much that He appeared first to a woman, not a man – (Mary Magdalene) He appeared to and trusted a woman to let the disciples know he was risen.

“Now when he rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons” (Mark 16:9).

Mary Magdalene wasn’t just any woman either; she was a woman previously demon-possessed. Jesus healed her of the demons, and she immediately began to follow Him.

When she went to the tomb and found it empty, she wept. She begged the “gardener” to tell her where His body was, not recognizing Jesus.

“Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, ‘Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away’” (John 20:15).

She was there during His crucifixion, among other women, and also helped anoint His body after His crucifixion.

“But standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene” (John 19:25).

“When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him” (Mark 16:1).

In the Hadith, which is as significant to Muslims as the Talmud is to Jews, we read:

“The Prophet said, ‘Isn’t the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?’ The women said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘This is because of the deficiency of a woman’s mind’” Hadith 3:826.

Islam teaches women are deficient in the mind, and yet feminists across the world are embracing Islam and rejecting Christ. Women in Islam are considered inferior to men. They are not as intelligent as man, according to Muhammad.

The Bible says, although men and women have differences, they are both equal in the eyes of Christ. Islam cannot claim the same thing.

The Apostle Paul said, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28).

Jesus forgave a woman caught in adultery as the village men were ready to stone her to death. I’ve always wondered, where was the man? It does take two. When Jesus was writing in the sand as they surrounded her, what was He writing? Was He writing the man’s name? Jesus told them, which of you is without sin? In Islam, guilty or not, a woman will lose her life for such an accusation.

Jesus spoke with the Samaritan woman; He told her she’d never thirst again if she simply believed in Him. He made sure his earthly mother was cared for after his crucifixion. Meanwhile, in Islam, mothers and grandmothers are murdered under Sharia law for a variety of reasons. Young men blow themselves up, leaving mothers to celebrate their martyrdom instead of mourning their loss.

When Muhammad was presented with a Jewish man and woman caught in adultery, he ordered them stoned to death.

“So the Prophet ordered the two adulterers to be stoned to death, and they were stoned to death near the place where biers used to be placed near the Mosque. I saw her companion (i.e. the adulterer) bowing over her so as to protect her from the stones” Hadith and Sira 6:60:79.

Something to note here: The Jewish man Muhammad had stoned laid his body over his lover to protect her. They died together at the direct order of Muhammad.

Jesus protected a Jewish woman caught in adultery.

Throughout the Koran and Hadith, we read of women being beaten at either Muhammad’s hands or his order.

“So I came to him and he said: Have you finished inflicting (punishment on her)? I said: I went to her while her blood was flowing. He said: Leave her alone till her bleeding stops; then inflict the prescribed punishment on her. And inflict the prescribed punishment on those whom your right hands possess (i.e. slaves)” Hadith, and Sira: Abu Dawud 38:4458.

“It is not wise for anyone of you to lash his wife like a slave, for he might sleep with her the same evening” Islamic teaching: Book of Marriage, 3242[5].

Little girls in parts of Africa are forced to undergo genital mutilation. Their Muslim mothers and women in the village hold them down as they have parts of their genitals removed or sewn closed. This isn’t something only happening in Africa, it’s happening in the U.S., in places like Michigan. Two doctors were arrested for performing this surgical procedure right here in the United States. If two were found, there’s more we don’t know about.

Hirsi Ali, a former Muslim that escaped Somalia, was forced to undergo this procedure as a child. Linda Sarsour, the Sharia feminist, said Ali deserved the mutilation she endured. Why? She left the clutches of Islam.

Those that are harmed the most in Islam, women and children, are loved by Jesus.

Jesus said, “And they were bringing even their babies to Him so that He would touch them, but when the disciples saw it, they began rebuking them. But Jesus called for them, saying, ‘Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all’” (Matthew 19:13-14).

“See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 18:10).

Whatever you do to a child, his guardian angel sees the face of God Himself to give report.

But in Islam, women train their children to hate Jews and Christians. They instill hatred at an early age. Jesus commanded us to love, not hate.

Nowhere in the entire Bible or Jewish Talmud will you find anyone condoning rape. But in Islam, rape is not only condoned, it’s acceptable, especially when it’s an infidel woman (non-Muslim).

Many non-Christians who don’t know the Bible will try to use Deuteronomy 22:28-29 as God condoning rape. But does this particular passage necessarily refer to rape? See the original Hebrew meaning at this link.

Regardless, a woman was often treated as less important compared to men. It was a different culture and society. Even those believing in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob weren’t above breaking God’s laws. God’s people evolved over time, but Islam has remained the same in their brutality. ISIS brought nothing new; they simply revived it on national TV.

Critics of the Bible also like to point out Numbers 31. The Israelite soldiers took the females as captives during the war with the Medianites. The Medianites were attacked in retribution for their seduction of Israel into sexual immorality and idolatry, causing a plague among the Israelites (see Numbers 25). Moses was angry that they had kept all the women, and he only allowed those women into the Israelite camp who were virgins. And nowhere does it say the women were raped.

The New Testament doesn’t specifically mention rape; but it would go with sexual immorality, and sexual immorality is a sin. Jesus and his disciples preached against sexual immorality. Jesus also taught us to respect the laws of our rulers, and it’s against the law.

The Koran and Hadith are very clear that rape is not necessarily a bad thing. Child brides are also something that is not so taboo. Aisha was 6 or 7 years old when Muhammad married her. Still playing with Barbie’s in today’s society.

In today’s Islamic society, it still happens and it’s still condoned and protected in many cases.

Muhammad was asked if a man should marry a woman who couldn’t have children. He said: “A man came to the Prophet and said: I have found a woman who is of good lineage and beautiful, but she cannot have children. Should I marry her? He said: No. Then he came to him a second time, and he told him not (to marry that woman). Then he came to him a third time and he said: ‘Marry the one who is loving and fertile, for I will be proud of your great numbers before the nations” Ahmad Ma’qil Ibn Yasaar.

In the Bible, the greatest women mentioned were all barren. Sarah remained barren into her old age, but Abraham continued to love her. It was Sara that sent Abraham to Hagar. But in her old age, God kept his promise.

Muhammad said don’t marry the barren woman; but God tells us, “Is anything too difficult for the Eternal One to accomplish? At a time that I will determine, I will return here to you when life emerges from her womb. I am telling you, Sarah will give birth to a son” (Genesis 18:14-16).

Rebekah remained barren for many years after marrying Jacob. She complained often to Jacob, so much so that one day he snapped at her “Am I God?” Rebekah did get pregnant, with twins, and mothered two nations—one being a nation God loves—Israel. Where Muhammad said no, God said yes.

Hannah in 1 Samuel was so distraught over not being able to conceive that she couldn’t eat. She prayed to a God for days, year after year. One day Eli, the high priest, saw her crying silently and praying with her lips moving but no sound, her heart breaking as she poured her heart out to God. God heard her prayers and He answered them, not when she wanted, but when He was ready. She bore Samuel, who became the last great Judge of Israel. He was favored and loved by the Israelites and God. Again, Muhammad said no. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob said yes.

Elizabeth, John the Baptist’s mother, remained barren into old age. She was saddened at having no children; but again, we see God’s miracle. She conceived and had John the Baptist—he who made the way for Jesus.

“For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb. And he will turn many of the children of Israel
to the Lord their God. He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord” (Luke 1:15-17).

God does hear your prayer; He just knows when the time is right. It’s not always when we want, but He is faithful.

Have you ever cried out to God the way Hannah did, pouring your heart and soul out to Him no matter the reason? He hears you just as he heard Sarah, Rebekah, Hannah and Elizabeth.

Where God focuses on greatness, Muhammad focuses on numbers: “Marry the loving and prolific women, as I will outnumber the nations by you [by your abundant number].”

Islam teaches that hell is filled with women.

“O women! Give to charity, for I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-Fire were women.’ The women asked, ‘O Allah’s Apostle! What is the reason for it?’ He said: ‘O women! You curse frequently, and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. O women, some of you can lead a cautious man astray.’” Sahih Bukhari , Volume 1, Book 6, Number 301.

Jesus came to save all; this includes women. A born-again man will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven any faster than a born-again woman.

There’s something else that demonstrates God’s love for women and their equality with men. The church for 2,000 years has so convinced men that a woman is not to teach them, ever for any reason, that they miss what is right in front of their eyes.

Priscilla is mentioned by Paul many times in the NT along with her husband Aquila. “When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately” (Acts 18:26).

The man Priscilla explained the gospel to was named Apollos. The scriptures are clear on his intelligence.
“Now a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus” (Acts 18:24).

Note it doesn’t say Aquila taught him and Priscilla quietly listened in the background. It clearly says they both explained to him. Priscilla was given great prominence over her husband by both Luke and Paul, by naming her first in their letters.

But Priscilla showed him the accurate way of the Lord’s teaching. She was considered a true sister in Christ by the disciples.

In 2 Timothy we find the teachings of the gospel by women so important that the Bible made special mention of Timothy following the faith of his grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice. His father was a Gentile, so it’s safe to say he found Jesus through these women’s teaching.

“But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:14-15).

As the previously mentioned passage from Islam’s teachings says, hell is filled with more women than men. Just being a woman in Islam is a disadvantage in Allah’s eyes. But to Jesus, hell is filled with both men and women who reject Jesus.

The Koran also said the wives in “heaven” will be in pavilions for the men to enjoy. But the Bible teaches us there are no husbands and wives in heaven; we are all brothers and sisters in Christ.

“For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven” (Matthew 22:30). (This means they are like angels in that angels do not marry).

In Islam, women are in heaven as a reward to the men. This sounds counter to the feminist’s beliefs I’ve heard leftist women spew. In Allah’s so-called heaven, there are “Gardens enclosed and vineyards, and full-breasted maidens of equal age” Surat 78, verse 32-33.

At the time the disciples were sharing the gospel, there were many religions with many different pagan gods. Some of these were goddesses who gave women imaginary power. Perhaps the women in the early church were disrupting the teaching of the gospel with questions or comparisons, perhaps complaints. We don’t know, but some women were obviously disrupting the disciples’ teaching.

“And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church. Or did the word of God come originally from you? Or was it you only that it reached?” (1 Corinthians 14:35).

It almost seems from this verse that Paul was admonishing the women for thinking they knew more about God’s word than anyone, and endless questions from one woman would sort of hijack church service, don’t you think? Paul basically said, is God only talking to you? Can the rest of us learn too? I can find the humor in it. But then again, I’m not a feminist.

Jesus never differentiated between men and women, but the disciples plainly did due to tradition –something Jesus warned us about. As women were ignored and treated like second-class citizens, Jesus spoke to them and acknowledged them.

One particular woman Jesus not only healed on the Sabbath, but He called her “daughter of Abraham.” Hebrew men were called sons of Abraham. By calling her a daughter of Abraham, he showed her equal worth to Him.

When Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman, He offered her eternal life, not differentiating between men and women. He entrusted her to share His message with her town.

“Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life” (John 4:14).

He didn’t speak to a Samaritan man; he spoke to a Samaritan woman. “Many of the Samaritans of that town began to believe in him because of the word of the woman who testified on his behalf” (John 4:39).

The most dramatic thing Jesus did to show men and women are equal in His eyes, is heal the woman who had menstrual bleeding for 12 years. It’s dramatic because women who were menstruating were considered ritually unclean. They would especially be unclean to a rabbi, and her touching Him would make Him unclean. But Jesus told her that her faith had healed her.

Where Jesus has compassion on women, Muhammad does not.

There is no liberation or freedom in Islam. The only freedom we have that is guaranteed is the freedom the cross gave us. He died for us, both man and woman, equal in His eyes.

The Qur’an says: “O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful” (33:59). The implication there is, that if women do not cover themselves adequately with their outer garments, they may be abused; and that such abuse would be justified.

The Bible teaches women to dress modestly; it doesn’t however say women will be, and deserve to be, raped if they aren’t covered properly.

“In like manner also that the women adorn themselves in an honest manner, with shyness and modesty, not with ostentatious hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing” (1 Timothy 2:9).

Islam tells women if they are raped it’s their fault. If you aren’t covered, it’s not the man to blame; you are to blame. Now what’s ironic is feminists claim women always have the right to say no; clothing is never an excuse, and they are right. But apparently in Islam, they get a pass from the rabid feminists.

Acts 2:17 says, “…your daughters will prophesy.” And if Jesus trusted a woman enough to share His resurrection to the disciples, He certainly trusted her enough to spread His message.

When Eve was in the Garden, the book of Genesis tells us she was deceived by the serpent. Eve didn’t just decide to disobey God; the Bible is clear that she was somehow deceived. On the other hand, Adam ate willingly from Eve. Think about that for a minute.

“The woman said, ‘The serpent deceived me, and I ate.’ So the Lord God said to the serpent: ‘Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust, all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel’” (Genesis 3:13-15).

Satan has deceived God’s people since creation; do you not think he won’t try to deceive you? Women are made in God’s image, just as men are. Islam is not of God.

God told Eve that forever women would be under attack due to her actions. Women throughout history have fought to be viewed equal to men. Women won this fight, so why are today’s feminists trying to take us to a dark place where women lose every right they fought to have?

Women in the West are converting to Islam, in many cases leaving Christianity. These women are leaving Christ, who offers them freedom and equality with men in all things in His Kingdom, for a false religion that subjugates them, a religion that literally means submit. Satan hates man, but he has a special hatred for women. It was a woman who brought forth the Messiah through God.

Satan hates you; he wants to destroy you, your family, your marriage and your children. He will attack you, Christian women, because it’s at our knees that our children begin to learn of Christ. It’s at our knees that we teach our children gentleness, understanding and a fear of God. It’s at our knees that our children learn the weapons of spiritual warfare. Women of Christ, make your voice heard. There is power in you through the shed blood of Christ. You are daughters of Abraham! There is no power in Islam—only submission to a false god—submission to a religion that will send you to hell.

Esther put her own life on the line in order to save the life of her people. She was a beautiful Jewish woman who married the Persian king, only revealing her Judaism in order to save her people. Ruth, who could have left her mother-in-law, Naomi, and found another husband after her own died, stayed to care for her – an older woman without a husband or any remaining sons, Ruth refused to leave her.

These are strong courageous women. Be like Esther, not the rabid women defending a religion that wants to subjugate you. You older women teach the younger women the ways of the Lord. The internet is full of misinformation – websites that expose Islam are well hidden in internet searches. Teach your children, and stand strong for the Lord. If God is for you, who can be against you?

“Blessed is she who believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her” (Luke 1:45).

“She is clothed with strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future” (Proverbs 31:25).

“Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised” (Proverbs 31:30).

Apostle Paul: Bridge between Christianity and Judaism

God’s new covenant, with Jew and Gentile, is through His Son Jesus Christ. His covenant made with Abraham also still stands. Christians have not replaced Israel. This false, Replacement Theology is gaining a lot of support in the Christian community. There is one nation that is the apple of God’s eye, and that nation is Israel.

“For thus says the LORD of hosts; After his glory has he sent me unto the nations which plundered you: for he that touches you touches the apple of his eye.”

He will return to Israel and save His people in the last days. The Jewish people and especially Jerusalem have been under attack since the time of Jacob. This promise that God made to Abraham has not been revoked because Jesus came. He came to fulfill law, not to change it.

Jesus said:

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.”

“Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah.”

He did not say the Jewish people were not part of this new covenant (New Testament), and He did not say His covenant with Abraham was broken. The Jewish people will be restored by the new covenant. Moses predicted the Jewish people would not be able to follow the numerous and strict laws God commanded; he knew they would break God’s law. The Jewish people broke the covenant, not God. But they are still God’s people and Israel is still His holy place, His land! God’s covenant with Abraham is ETERNAL!

Moses said of the Jewish people “Yet the Lord has not given you a heart to perceive and eyes to see and ears to hear, to this very day.”

But he also said:

“And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.”

Jeremiah said of future Israel and the Jewish people: “I will put my law in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

Ezekiel said of future Israel and the Jewish people: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.”

The Bible also specifically talks of the restoration of Israel. Christians have not replaced the Jewish people, and they are not the New Jerusalem; but they will worship the Lord together with Jews in New Jerusalem. God says many times that He will restore Israel and the Jewish people, He will give them new hearts, and their new hearts will open their eyes to the Messiah.

“Since the day that I brought my people out of the land of Egypt, I chose no city in all the tribes of Israel in which to build a house, that my name might be there, and I chose no man as prince over my people Israel; but I have chosen Jerusalem that my name may be there and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.”

Replacement Theology
God has considered Jerusalem the UNDIVIDED Capital of Israel since the reign of King David. You can hardly dig at new construction sites in Israel without finding ancient evidence of the Jewish people.

The Jewish people were the first Christians, so why do Christians today not share the gospel with the Jewish people? This is wrong. Jesus himself was Jewish, so what happened? He said to spread His good news first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. He didn’t say to stop sharing, but He did say there would be a hardening of their hearts. God can break that hardening, and God will break that hardening. God didn’t say spread His message to the world except to the Jews. There are too many calling themselves Christians that have a hardening against the Jewish people as well. This is not biblical.

Evangelical Christians feel included among the Israelis, and rightfully so. Paul told us, “If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring.” We are grafted into God’s promise to Abraham through the root of David, Jesus Christ.

After the temple’s destruction and Jews were once again scattered, Christians felt the Jewish people were being punished by God for rejecting Jesus. Paul, more than any other apostle, showed the differences in Judaism and Christianity. He did not believe Christians needed to become Torah-following Jews in order to receive Christ. Some of the apostles argued the point with Paul.

Jesus said the Pharisees cared more for their laws and traditions; we know this today as the Talmud. They cared more for outward appearances; but Jesus called them a brood of vipers, liars and hypocrites.

“For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”

The first Christian to be murdered for not denying Jesus is Stephen. When Stephen was surrounded by angry Jewish men, he not only refused to deny Jesus but he lectured the Pharisees on exactly who they crucified. He reminded them of what God said:

“Heaven is My throne,
And earth is My footstool.
What house will you build for Me? says the Lord,
Or what is the place of My rest?
Has My hand not made all these things?”

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the God of the entire world, all things in it, above it and below it. His spirit dwelled in the temple until His Son finished all things He was sent to do. The root of David was sent to save man from himself.

Stephen went on to say, “You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute?”

When they heard Him, they became furious. We then get our first mention of the feared persecutor Saul.

“Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord; and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.”

Stephen said, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.’ Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, ‘Lord, do not charge them with this sin.’ And when he had said this, he fell asleep.”

“Stephen was stoned to death for blasphemy against God. Imagine his surprise at seeing Saul in heaven. I imagine that he would be shocked finding out Saul became one of Christ’s greatest messengers – that Saul converted on the road to Damascus and spread the gospel all over Rome – no idea that Saul himself was executed for Jesus Christ.

This alone shows the magnitude of God’s forgiveness and love for us. Many mistakenly think Saul was renamed by God after he became a Christian. In one verse we read “Saul, who was ALSO Paul;” it was from that verse onward where he is referred to as Paul.

Saul was most likely named after King Saul, from the tribe of a Benjamin. Benjamin was the only son of Jacob to be born in the Promised Land. The Holy City of Jerusalem is situated in land that has been given to the tribe of Benjamin.

The Roman version of his name was simply “Paul” – just as Joseph in English is Jose in Spanish; it was that simple. By being called Paul, but also of strict Jewish descent, he was probably more likely to be received by the Gentiles too. His Roman heritage came in handy throughout his ministry.

When Paul began to follow Jesus Christ, he didn’t abandon his Jewish faith. When Jesus was baptized with The Holy Spirit, neither did he. He still went to temple and synagogue. Paul went to the temple after returning to Jerusalem. The apostles all still kept their dietary laws. It seems that the first apostles of Jesus had a hard time separating their Jewish faith and traditions from their newfound faith of Christianity.

The apostles debated things such as circumcision, such as whether or not a Gentile had to circumcise his flesh in following Jewish laws and customs. These apostles walked with and loved Jesus, but even they had a hard time separating Judaism and Christ’s message.

It was Paul who argued that Gentiles were not required to be circumcised in order to be followers of Jesus. Paul had an understanding that if Christians simply converted to Judaism, Christ’s message is lost. He came to save all men, Gentile and Jew! Gentiles throughout Rome were not going to convert to Judaism. Instead of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob being strictly the Jewish God, He now became everyone’s God. Through the Jewish people’s rejection, we received Him.

Christians and Jews in the beginning were united in worship of the one true God. After the destruction of the temple, Christians and Jews began to separate. But today, once again, Jews all over are beginning to recognize Jesus as the Messiah.

“Was anyone called while circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Was anyone called while uncircumcised? Let him not be circumcised. Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters. Let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called.”

Paul called himself a Hebrew among Hebrews. He identified with and embraced his Jewish upbringing. He was not only a Jew but a Roman citizen, which afforded him many opportunities. He was well-spoken and literate. As a Roman citizen well-versed in Greek culture, he could share the gospel across the Hellenized world. He was also a Pharisee, strictest of the Jews in Mosaic Law.

If he hated Christians, he most assuredly hated Jesus. Jesus asked him on the road to Damascus why he was persecuting HIM, not His followers. Jesus warned us that we would be persecuted because of Him, hated because of Him. Paul was the man that helped hunt Christians down but ended up becoming one of the greatest apostles of Christ.

Paul said of Himself, “For I am the least of the apostles, who am not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.”

After several missionary trips, Paul was warned against going to Jerusalem. He was told he would be found and delivered to the Gentiles, which could only mean the Romans. But Paul, just as Stephen years before him, had no fear. Those with him tried to persuade him not to go. He replied to the warning,

“What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

They left his fate in God’s hands. “So when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, ‘The will of the Lord be done.’”

Paul was in fact arrested, and he requested a hearing in front of Caesar. As a Roman, he had that right. Not only was he a Roman citizen but he was BORN a Roman. When the Roman guards heard they had arrested a Roman citizen, they became afraid.

Paul made mention to the centurion that while he purchased his citizenship, he himself was born Roman. He was under house arrest awaiting a trial in front of Caesar. In Acts, as Paul listed the charges against him, we learn that Paul spoke of Jesus with such passion and love that Herod Agrippa said the following: “You almost persuade me to become a Christian.”

Herod Agrippa’s grandfather was King Herod the Great. He was responsible for the “Massacre of the innocents.” In an attempt to murder Jesus and to secure his crown, King Herod had all baby boys under the age of two slaughtered. (It’s worth noting he was also an Edomite. I wrote a previous article on exactly who the Edomites were.)

Herod Agrippa, on the other hand, was loved by the Jewish people according to historian Josephus. But here he is telling Paul that he was almost convinced of the divinity of Jesus.

Just prior to Herod Agrippa telling Paul he was almost persuaded to become a Christian, Paul had said something interesting:

“For I am convinced that none of these things escapes his attention since this thing was not done in a corner. King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you do believe.”

Jesus did not do all these things in a corner. He made such a loud noise with His message that the Pharisees wanted Him executed. More on this later.

So why do the Jewish people not realize Jesus is Messiah? Because the Jews have been Blinded, for our sake, and they don’t even recognize it.

Paul’s message in Rome is what unites both Gentile and Jew to the one true God. But even the disciples that walked with Jesus still had a hard time accepting Gentiles as themselves.

“Go to this people and say:
‘Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand;
And seeing you will see, and not perceive;
For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.

“Therefore let it be known to you that the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will hear it!’ And when he had said these words, the Jews departed and had a great dispute among themselves.”

Paul preached that there was one God, but with a difference in what the disciples were preaching. Salvation for Gentiles was simple. Believing in and confessing Jesus as Savior, who forgives through His shed blood, replaced observance of the Mosaic Law. This angered many Jews. According to Paul, Gentiles were not commanded to be circumcised, weren’t required to follow dietary laws, and weren’t bound by the laws of Moses.

Without this division, Christianity would have remained Judaism; but it would have died off considering the very people that taught the Law of Moses didn’t believe in Jesus as Messiah. Romans were not going to convert to Judaism, but they did however believe and accept Jesus as the Messiah. They began to convert in droves with Paul’s preaching.

Later in his life, around the time Emperor Nero had him executed, Romans were converting to Christianity so fast that Nero couldn’t kill them quickly enough. The more you killed them, the faster the religion spread. The faster the religion spread, the further it drifted from its Judaic roots. Nero, who tried to wipe out all of the Christians in Rome, ended up executing two of Christ’s greatest messengers, Peter and Paul.

Dionysius, the bishop of Corinth, in his epistle to the Romans, said, “You have thus by such an admonition bound together the planting of Peter and of Paul at Rome and Corinth. For both of them planted and likewise taught us in our Corinth. And they taught together in like manner in Italy, and suffered martyrdom at the same time.”

Nero began the brutal persecution of the people from this new “cult” called Christianity. First century historian Tacitus, who was not a fan of the Christians, said the following of Nero:

“Besides being put to death, they were made to serve as objects of amusement; they were clothed in the hides of beasts and torn to death by dogs; others were crucified, others set on fire to serve to illuminate the night when daylight failed. Nero had thrown open his grounds for the display, and was putting on a show in the circus, where he mingled with the people in the dress of charioteer or drove about in his chariot. All this gave rise to a feeling of pity, even towards men whose guilt merited the most exemplary punishment; for it was felt that they were being destroyed not for the public good but to gratify the cruelty of an individual.”

This was only thirty years after Jesus was crucified. These people weren’t willingly dying and being torn apart by dogs on a “maybe” or an “if.” Thirty years after His crucifixion, people that saw Him, heard Him and touched Him were still alive. Parents probably told children, and neighbors shared stories with passersby on the Roman roads.

Had He been crucified and never heard from again, Christianity wouldn’t have survived thirty years let alone 2,000 thousand years. Thousands of people would not willingly die for Him just decades later if they didn’t truly believe or weren’t sure. I remember 30 years ago in my life. If a man like Jesus walked the earth in our lifetime, we’d know about it, just as the people in the first century did.

When Jesus came, EVERYTHING was timed to perfection. The people were ready to hear His message, Gentile and Jew. The Greek Empire brought a universal language, much like English is today. The Roman Empire brought the famous straight roads that went all over Rome, for thousands of miles.

It was said that “all roads lead to Rome,” and they did. Right outside of the entrances to Rome, there were roads going in different directions that crossed paths with other roads throughout the Empire. These roads brought the people to large cities, trading routes and even small villages. These roads were instrumental in sharing the gospel.

Everything God does is about timing and for a reason. He knew when to send His Son and when the world would be ready for His message. He knew when the time would be right for His people to return to their nation, and He knew when the time was right to officially move our embassy.

I’ve often wondered how it was possible for Jesus and Paul to have never crossed paths or for Paul not to have known who He was. The Pharisees are those who arranged for the arrest of Jesus. Jesus called the Pharisees out, calling them hypocrites. I’m convinced that because it’s not mentioned doesn’t mean he didn’t know who Jesus was when He walked the earth. Paul was admittedly angry for God. He hated heresy and blasphemy. He was strict in his Jewish faith; how could he NOT have known who Jesus was?

Jesus was in Jerusalem during Passover, as most Jews were since it was customary. Since Paul was a Pharisee, he would have more than likely went to the temple. Jesus had enough of a following that Paul would have heard something about Him. No?

The Bible recounts one scene where Jesus overturns the tables outside of the temple. Surely something that bold by a man with a following would have reached Paul.

The Bible is clear many times that this was the custom that the Jewish people kept. Here we see that, even as a child, Jesus followed this custom on Passover.

“Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up according to custom. And when the feast was ended, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem.”

In the movies, they always show Paul as an old man, but he would have been close in age to Jesus. Paul said his zeal for the Lord caused him to persecute Christians. It almost seems impossible that he never encountered or at least heard of Jesus, before his blindness. As a Pharisee, whose father and grandfather were Pharisees, he certainly would have known about a new religion springing up in Jerusalem.

There is evidence of how educated in the Law of Moses Paul really was. Before his conversion, some of the apostles were arrested and stood before the Pharisees and Sadducees, accused of heresy.

“A Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law held in respect by all the people, and commanded them to put the apostles outside for a little while.”

“And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it; lest you even be found to fight against God.”

Later, in the book of Acts, Paul describes himself this way: “I am indeed a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, taught according to the strictness of our fathers’ law, and was zealous toward God as you all are today.”

There is a lot known about the man Gamaliel, and not just from the Bible. He was indeed respected and was listened to by the Jewish people. He was one of the leading Jewish scholars of his time. He was also from the tribe of Benjamin.

This is who taught Paul since childhood. There was nobody more strict in the Jewish faith than Paul – none that hated the Christians more than Paul. God unhardened his heart, removed his blindness and made him new. His blindness on the road to Damascus represents spiritual blindness of the Jewish people.

There are dozens of verses in the Bible showing the Pharisees plotting, planning and talking together regarding Jesus. The bigger question is, how could Paul NOT have known who Jesus was?

As he shared the gospel in Jerusalem, many were shocked. Wasn’t this the man that had such zeal for God, that he hunted these Christians down?

“And immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogues, saying, ‘He is the Son of God.’ And all who heard him were amazed and said, ‘Is not this the man who made havoc in Jerusalem of those who called upon this name? And has he not come here for this purpose, to bring them bound before the chief priests?’”

Imagine how many “zealots for God” possibly began to believe in Jesus as the promised Savior because Paul believed!

Christians believe the temple, or the Holy Spirit, is within each one of us, whereas the Jewish people are still mourning their lost temple. To the Jewish people the temple was everything. God’s Holy Spirit dwelled inside the temple.

Instead of embracing Jesus after their temple was destroyed, they embraced their strict laws and traditions even more so, exactly what Jesus accused the Pharisees of. The outside of the cup is cleaner than the inside. Not only did they embrace more tradition and law, they further rejected Jesus.

After the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, the Jewish people went almost 2,000 years without a homeland. They became a nation just as the U.S became a real super power after WW2. Though they were without a nation, there has always been a Jewish presence in Jerusalem.

Replacement Theology
The U.S and Israel are NATURAL allies. They are allied by the God they keep. Paul’s spreading of the gospel to the Gentiles forever bridges the gap between Christian and Jew. Israel’s Islamic neighbors do NOT worship the same God as Christians and Jews. This is a lie spread by the leftist anti-Christian movement.

As we get closer to the return of the Messiah, the Jewish people are becoming more accepting of Jesus as Messiah. The world’s largest Christian nation, which is the world’s largest super power, is aligned with Israel, the apple of God’s eye. There are dark days ahead, but this alliance will remain unshakable thanks to people like Nikki Haley. If God is for you, who can be against you?

God said “I will make thee a burdensome stone” when speaking of Israel. There is one nation willing to bear that stone with Israel, and that is the U.S.

As Christians, we also will sit with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Together, Jew and Gentile, we will stand with King David.

“We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.”

“But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ” (Philippians 3:8).

The hypocrisy against Israel

The Hypocrisy Against Israel and Why The U.S Stands With Her

“In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Israel is in a fierce fight to protect its country and its citizens. There are thousands of Hamas-driven rioters on the Gaza border demanding entry. They are using children as political pawns, taking a page out of the Syrian opposition’s recent playbook. The Palestinians in Gaza launched Operation “Right of Return” several weeks ago in which tens of thousands of Palestinians have rioted, threatening to cross over. These rioters are minutes from residential homes. What the media doesn’t show you is you can see these homes from the border where the rioting is taking place.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently unveiled absolute proof that Iran has nuclear weapons and has had a nuclear program for years. The Israeli Special Forces, The “Mossad,” were able to retrieve 55,000 pages of documented Iranian nuclear plans. These documents were hidden in a dilapidated warehouse. Inside the warehouse were Iran’s top secrets regarding their nuclear program.

Iran is embarrassed. They are also nervous with the release of these documents proving how they are violating the nuclear agreement—a bogus agreement from the start despite claims from the former Obama administration officials and Obama himself.

God told us, “For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was anything kept secret, but that it should come into the open.”

As the IDF protects its border from this threat of invasion, the real human-rights crimes are going unreported. The media shows images of children being brought to the planned riots, but nobody questions why children are anywhere near the violence. The answer is obvious, and I’ve said it before. The death of one Palestinian child is worth all the dead children in the Middle East. Yasser Arafat would be so proud of the myth and lie he helped create—the Palestinian people.

One of the major claims from Palestinians is “we just want the pre-1967 borders.” Yet, when they had these borders prior to 1967, Israel was still under constant attack. There is no right to return to Israel for anyone but the Jewish people. Christianity has more of a claim to the holy land then the Palestinians. After all, they also have a PROVABLE 2,000-year presence in Jerusalem. Originally Jordanian, the Palestinian people were invented in the 1960’s by anti-Semites in an effort to once again delegitimize the Jewish people and their ancient homeland.

After the second temple’s destruction in 70 AD by Titus Flavius and the Roman 10th legion, the Jewish people that survived were taken from Israel and were enslaved. They built the massive coliseum in Rome, which was a house of horrors for Christians and Jews. Christian men, women and children were slaughtered by the thousands, all in the name of sport and to show Rome’s power and greatness.

The arch the Romans built, glorifying their defeat of the Jewish people, still stands today in Rome. It depicts fresco carvings and paintings showing that the Jews, all of their temple gold, golden menorahs etc., were dragged into Rome. A Roman coin from the period depicts a Jewish woman chained to a tree, weeping, with a Roman soldier standing before her.

Tens of thousands of Jewish men and women were massacred and thousands more enslaved. It historically happened, and it’s part of the Jewish people’s history. Their roots are in Israel. Israel does not belong to the Palestinians; it belongs to GOD, and He gave it to Jacob (named Israel) through His covenant with Abraham!

“Abram fell facedown, and God said to him, ‘As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations.’”

One of those nations is Israel. Israel is the apple of God’s eye. As these Muslim nations keep poking Israel, they are poking God in the eye. It’s not a smart thing to do.

“For thus hath the LORD of the hosts said; After the glory he shall send me unto the Gentiles which spoiled you, for he that touches you touches the apple of his eye.’”

There are an estimated 80,000 Iranian soldiers in Syria, and Israel is supposed to stand down and be OK with this. NO! Enough! Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu are a formidable force together. Donald Trump is not Obama – our relationship with Israel is once again strong!

Our alliance is unbreakable. Why? The United States was founded on the blood, sweat and tears of our founding fathers, who not only had a fear of God but submitted to God. Our founding fathers were Christian men. We worship the same God as the Jewish people: Jehovah; the Alpha and the Omega; the beginning and the end; the God that knows all things; the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

That is why our bond and alliance is so strong. God will bless those that bless Israel and curse those that curse Israel.

Our forefathers came here escaping religious persecution. This nation was founded on religious freedom. It defends liberty. It also does something else. The U.S defends Israel like no other. If the US, a PERMANENT member of the UN, didn’t veto the numerous accusations and resolutions against Israel, they may not even exist today. The UN certainly will not help Israel. The United States was created to spread and protect Christianity, to preach the gospel to the world, and I truly feel to protect the apple of God’s eye.

Iran is against the wall right now. They are afraid of President Trump. They know he is unpredictable. They know he says what he means and means what he says. When you have Iran against a wall, with Russia as an alliance, that’s not a good combo. They will retaliate soon, and Israel is in their line of site.  Are they going to strike Israel first? By Benjamin Netanyahu releasing, personally I might add, proof that the Iran deal was packed with deceit and lies, will this anger Iran and Russia to the point of starting a war? Attacking the apple of God’s eye?

Netanyahu also proved that Iran has indeed been building nuclear weapons, and well before Obama helped them out with cash. That cash helped them speed up their nuclear program and weapons-making capabilities. Iran’s main ally, Russia, has warned Israel against any further strikes on Syria, that they will strike Israel if their defense systems given to Syria are hit. All of the end-time countries we were warned of are lined up, ready to strike.

“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.”

“And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths” (Zechariah 14:12, NKJV).

This can only be describing nuclear war. It’s on the horizon. The question again is, who will blink first? Who will strike first? We don’t know the timing, but we know it’s all happening right on Israel’s border, just as prophesied. It’s Easy to see a two-hundred-million-man army when you consider Recep Tayyip Erdogan calling for ALL Muslims to unite and invade Israel. Just as God said it would happen, it’s happening. Is it possible that Israel comes under such an attack and invasion that their only option is nuclear?

Israel’s nuclear arsenal is better known as the “Samson Option.” In Judges 16:28, Samson begged God to allow his strength to return to him one last time!  God granted Solomon his strength. With his renewed strength, Solomon destroyed the house of the Philistines. He not only killed himself but took 3,000 Philistines with him.

Israel’s Samson Option is a last resort if they are being overrun, and the Bible tells us they will be overrun. Israel is well-known to have a large nuclear arsenal. It’s estimated at around 400 nuclear warheads. This makes Israel the third largest nuclear power in the world, behind Russia and the U.S.

“Then Samson called to the LORD, Almighty LORD, please remember me! God, give me strength just one more time! Let me get even with the Philistines for at least one of my two eyes.”

When Israel chose the name “the Samson Option,” they were notifying the world that if they go down, all of their enemies who struck them will go down right with her. They will have nothing to lose if they use this Samson Option. Israel is surrounded by Muslims that want to kill them. They will rape the women and enslave them. They will murder the young boys and men.  Maybe the Samson Option is preferable to what has awaited so many at the hands of enraged Islamic men.

This coming persecution and slaughter is nothing new for the Jewish people, but it will be the worst persecution they’ve ever faced.

The Jews have been persecuted and slaughtered for thousands of years, their temple destroyed twice and the people enslaved or exiled. In the 8th century, Muslims forced Jews and Christians (people of the book) to wear identifying clothing. Jews wore a yellow belt or fringes on their clothing under Islamic law.

Then, a few years later, Jews were forced to wear a yellow patch in the shape of a donkey, and Christians had to wear a patch in the shape of swine. Beginning around the 12th century, under Holy Roman Byzantine rule, Jews were forced to identify themselves by a yellow star patch they had to wear on their breast. Adolf Hitler simply reintroduced branding of the Jews in the twentieth century; he reintroduced the yellow star.

The Spanish Inquisition was a terrible time for Christians, but it was no better for the Jews. The Inquisitions did not start in Spain; it was under the Roman Emperor Pope Innocent III where Jews were first burned alive. The mass slaughter of Christians then easily led to the slaughtering of the Jewish people—all done in the name of “religion.” In 1288, the first burning of Jews on the stake happened in France. In 1481, the Inquisition started in Spain.

In 1660, people across Europe suffered with what we know as the “Black death” or “bubonic plague.” The Jewish people were blamed for this. In reality though, the Jewish people by following God’s customs and laws were much cleaner, and this was why they were less likely to become sick. Simply washing hands (as we know today) helped prevent the spread of this disease. So their cleanliness is what spared so many, earning scorn and hatred.

Meanwhile, the Europeans’ water and sewage system in the Middle Ages wasn’t even as sophisticated as the Roman and Greek water systems a thousand years before. Sanitation was primitive. In Europe, the sewage disposal was in the middle of the street, which lead to the spread of the killer disease.

Adolf Hitler tried to systematically eliminate the Jewish people altogether, like so many antichrists through time before him. The holocaust lead to the slaughter of over six million Jews.

Throughout the centuries, the Jewish people were displaced all over. In 1948, the “remnants of the people” started returning to their homeland in droves and by the grace of God. No more “wandering,” looking for a home of their own. After Israel once again became a nation, it was also no longer a barren desert; it became a flower in the desert just as God said it would be.

“The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing.”

Mark Twain wrote the following about Jerusalem when traveling in 1867: “A desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds… a silent mournful expanse…. a desolation…. we never saw a human being on the whole route…. hardly a tree or shrub anywhere. Even the olive tree and the cactus, those fast friends of a worthless soil, had almost deserted the country.”

He also did not take note of this mythical “Palestinian” people. Remember, Israel’s name was changed by a Roman Emperor, Hadrian, to disconnect the Jews that did return. (More about that here: https://www.raptureready.com/2018/01/09/palestinian-people/.)

It was the Jewish people that made Israel bloom, by God’s hand—nobody else. Fulfilling prophecy!

There is a time of trouble coming to Israel. Jesus told us this was going to be a time of trouble and persecution that this world has never seen. BUT Israel will be saved by God.

Jeremiah tells us, “Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.”

Jesus tells us the tribulation will be a terrible time. God will destroy the nations that attack Israel.

“Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you [Israel], I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only with justice; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.”

The Jewish people broke God’s covenant. They were without a homeland for 1,900 years. They were persecuted, mocked and scorned from Nebuchadnezzar to Hitler. After Hitler, we heard “never again,” but anti-Semitism is once again on the rise. The persecution coming will cause the Jewish people to cry out to God, and He will hear them – saving them and restoring them into His everlasting covenant.

“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord.”

God will make a new covenant with the Jewish people, through His son Jesus Christ. The old covenant was written on stone and easily broken. The new covenant is written in our hearts. God will not only remove the hardening but give them new hearts. The Holy Spirit will dwell in them, and they will no longer cry out for their temple but cry out in praise of Jesus.

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.”

This new everlasting covenant is through the shed blood of Jesus. When Jesus was here, he instructed the disciples to go and share His message, first to the Jew, then the Gentile. When the Jewish people rejected the Messiah, God sent His message to the Gentiles. But He did not forget the Jewish people. He did not forget His covenant with Abraham.

“Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.”

Has the hardening of the Jewish people’s hearts against Jesus started to soften? God has not abandoned the Jewish people but has kept His promises to bring Israel back to its land in the last days. God does not break covenants. And soon all of Israel will know who the Messiah truly is. In the last century, there have been thousands of Jewish people converting to Christianity. Their eyes are being uncovered and their hearts unhardened.

“I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved” (Romans 11:25-26).

With this un-hardening of the heart also comes great tribulation. “It will come about in all the land,’ declares the Lord, ‘that two parts in it will be cut off and perish; but the third will be left in it. And I will bring the third part through the fire, refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested.

We are living on borrowed time. People have been saying “the end is near” for almost 2,000 years, but we are actually living in the last generation. Jesus told us specifically what the signs of His coming would be. Those signs are becoming clearer every day. Israel needs the United States right now like no other time in the last 70 years. Thank God we have a president that once again protects Israel and her people.

As Christians we are to spread Jesus Christ’s message; this includes to the Jewish people! In the last days, Christians are needed more than ever. Israel needs your support more than ever. We must not get comfortable and not vote in November. Israel was pushed out and left on her own under the Democratic Party. Don’t let them poke God in the eye again!

As we get closer to the return of the Messiah, things will get worse. The Jewish people are not the only people that will face persecution. The persecution against Christians has started, but it’s only going to get worse. There is comfort in God’s word though.

“Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

The spirit is indeed willing to stand for Jesus and proclaim His name, but our flesh is weak in that we will fear our fate whether it’s mockery, ridicule or scorn. In other parts of the world it’s death! Spiritually we are ready without question or fear. Physically, In the face of persecution or death, we must stand firm, we must be strong in our faith. Never deny Him. If you deny Him before men, He will deny you before His Father. This life is nothing compared to what He has in store for you!

“But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.”

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).

Jesus prayed to God for strength when He was in the garden. He feared what His flesh was going to experience. His spirit was willing to do whatever God told him. He asked God if it was possible to let this pass. THEN HE DID GOD’S WILL. HE LISTENED TO GOD.

“And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying, ‘Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.’ Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.”

He willingly was led to the cross like a lamb being led to slaughter. FOR YOU. He died for our sins. Don’t let your flesh decide your spiritual fate; let the Holy Spirit within you lead you. Jesus came in the flesh, God’s word made flesh as an example of how we are to live.  Don’t live for the world; live for God. He came to divide, like a harvester divides the good wheat from the bad. So will Jesus separate us, the good from the bad. Which side do you want to be on?

“But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

The easily offended

And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

Could Jesus have predicted anything else so accurate as the descriptions of the last days? Many shall be offended; they will hate you and deliver you up. I can see that today. I can honestly say for the first time in my life I see hatred everywhere, for no cause.

Many people today are incredibly sensitive and easily offended. They were raised being taught that everyone is a winner, where trying is more important than achieving anything. While trying is important, why are we rewarding the losing team just the same as the winning team?  Some kids are almost made to feel bad for winning. They win, but everyone gets a trophy.

People today have been trained to seek out a reason to be offended. If they don’t like what they are hearing, then they demand you stop saying it. They need safe spaces from anything they might perceive to be offensive, and it seems as though everything offends them. Our past generations worried about hunger and disease; today’s generation worries about who likes them on Facebook.

A simple infection today could have, and likely would have, resulted in death in past generations. It was a huge milestone for a baby to be weaned from his mother. It was such a big deal that in Genesis we read of a feast in honor of Isaac being weaned from Sarah.

“So the child grew and was weaned. And Abraham made a great feast on the same day that Isaac was weaned.”

This was also the day Ishmael mocked Isaac.

Surviving in past generations meant hard work. It meant at the end of the day you were exhausted and glad to be home. Families ate dinner together, prayed together and spent time together. Little boys were allowed to be little boys, and little girls were allowed to be little girls. In years past, boys and girls were told by parents and teachers that they can be anything they want to be when they grow up.  Today, boys and girls are being programmed to believe they can choose which gender they are, and make one up if they don’t like their choices.

There are biological differences between men and women. That is a fact of life. In today’s generation, these differences aren’t celebrated or embraced. There is outright anger and OFFENSE taken at anyone who dares suggest men and women are different.

There are schools in Sweden that force boys to play in the kitchen and little girls to play with traditional toys little boys usually are drawn to. If little girls instinctively grab a pink crayon, they are discouraged and a different color is suggested. Fathers and mothers proudly display their sons wearing dresses and makeup at 10 years old.

In California, a bill that will be signed by Gov. Jerry Brown can and will very easily lead to Bibles either being banned or edited to exclude any mention of homosexuality. It’s no longer about tolerance and acceptance; it’s about forcing you to surrender your own rights in order to pacify the few. The problem is, the majority has sat by idly and let these changes take place. They have willingly allowed men to enter showers and restrooms with their daughters.

Schools all over are canceling Mother’s Day programs in the name of fairness and diversity. After all, it’s unfair to the children without mothers. What about the unfairness to those children with mothers? That doesn’t matter. One person being offended is all that matters. This isn’t about a lack of mothers; this is an attack on traditional motherhood.

This mentality of not offending anyone at all for any reason has created a weak and spineless generation.

People are offended at words and actions they don’t agree with. They have the right to be offended; you do not.

Past generations stood for their beliefs, but their beliefs actually meant something. Many in this generation demand the government intercede on their behalf – make all of these mean, offensive words stop. They are offended!

We have a generation of kids that have been raised in direct contradiction to what God said: “Spare the rod, spoil the child.” Spoiled children are demanding and selfish because they are children. That is how children behave until taught, patiently, right from wrong. It’s a parent’s responsibility to raise productive and respectful children who will become productive and respectful adults. But this is not the case anymore. We have spoiled and selfish children living in adult bodies.

They are entitled; they want the perks of having a fabulous job – they like money to spend without actually working. We as parents have given in to every demand, keeping up with the Joneses. There are adults that need coloring books and puppies to help them cope if they hear something unpleasant with their offended little ears.

Our college campuses are filled with angry, offended children—professor and student alike. When a professor can tweet she is happy our former First Lady died, it’s protected under free speech; but why do I have a hard time believing the same would not hold true if this had been about Michelle Obama or Hillary Clinton? In that case, the professor would have been without a job.

At Oxford University, law students are now officially notified when the content of a lecture might offend them. This generation is so easily offended that everything said to them is an attack. It’s a personal affront, whether it directly affects them or not.

In Matthew 24, Jesus goes into great detail describing the last days. Without a doubt, we are living in this last generation.

College campuses are ordering male fraternities to either allow women to join, or disband. Someone obviously was offended and made a complaint. Leftist feminists have now set their sights on NFL cheerleaders. After all, someone must rescue these young women from forced cheerleading. Since they don’t like cheerleaders, NOBODY should like cheerleaders. Colin Kaepernick can create a self-made firestorm that has helped divide this country, and he is a hero. The real problem to them isn’t self-entitled athletes; it’s those evil cheerleaders.

Where does all of this offense come from? It comes from the great deceiver, the only person who enjoys God’s people hating one another and betraying one another.

I can very easily see many in this last generation (young and old) betraying anyone who professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. To some, He is the most controversial and OFFENSIVE historical figure there is.

He did not come to change the law but to fulfill it. He specifically told us that in the last days many would be offended. They will hate you; they will betray you. It’s slowly getting to the point of hating you and betraying you for one reason—JESUS CHRIST.

“Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. For, from now on, five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three. Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”

Father will turn against son, and daughter against mother, and you will be delivered up. This is happening all over the world right now in Islamic culture. Women are having acid thrown in their faces, doused with petrol and lit on fire for refusing to renounce their Christian faith and become a Muslim, or for leaving the Islamic faith. One woman, who worked as a domestic servant, was doused with petrol and lit on fire after repeatedly refusing to renounce Christ and marry her Muslim boss.

Women who are being forced to wear hijabs want to remove them. When women are liberated in Syria and Iraq from ISIS, one of the first things many do is remove their hijab; yet, in the West, women are fighting for women to wear it in the name of religious freedom and tolerance.

Jesus tells us He did not come to bring peace to earth as many falsely tell you. These are mockers of God. There will not be peace until Christ returns!

There are a lot of fools among us that are considered the smartest and brightest. We have professors teaching young men and women, not based on fact and reason but on personal political and religious views. Scientists will fudge numbers to prove global warming or explain creation in circles without ever really answering the question, just in an effort to deny the existence of God.

“…but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools.”

Jesus warned us that our fight is with the spiritual world; it would be against the rulers and powerful people. We may outwardly wrestle and fight against one another in the flesh, but there is more to it.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Teaching any gospel different than the one Jesus taught or causing a Christian to stumble is offending in God’s eyes. The offense many in this generation feel, is an offense to God. He is offended at what they find good. What God finds good, they are offended at.

“Being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.”

Sexual immorality is something we see in front of us every day. News Headlines read like tabloids of days past of who is sleeping with, impregnated by, or divorcing whom. The churches are filled with divorced couples who called it quits, breaking their covenant with God. Sex outside of marriage has become the norm. An unwed mother raising multiple babies by multiple fathers is now the norm.

There is wickedness all around us. Jesus told us men’s hearts would grow cold, and they have. In 1994, Susan Smith shocked the world by murdering her two sons. Today, you will find at least a story a week where a mother or father murdered their children.

There has never been a more covetous generation. People today want what everyone else has. And time and time again we read in the headlines of someone being murdered because someone wanted what they had.

With social media, there has come a maliciousness by people that was unheard of in past generations. If someone today feels they were wronged, or worse yet, embarrassed in front of their peers, there’s no longer just a fight in the schoolyard. Politicians try to destroy the lives of their political opponents. President Donald Trump is proof enough of that. He is not a full year and a half into his presidency, and the full maliciousness of what his opponents have done is still being uncovered.

Many in this generation are full of envy. People are envious of others because of the glimpse they see on social media. Where people once were happy to be able to pay their bills, put food in their stomachs and have a few extra dollars left over, they are envious of who has more than them.

Since Cain killed his brother Abel, we have witnessed man shed innocent blood. In these last days, we see the most horrific and terrible headlines of mass murder, stabbing, shootings, people mowed down by cars, etc. Earlier this year, a seven-year-old boy murdered his sister for not giving him the controller of a gaming system. He shot her in the back of the head. We were once shocked at mass murder; Charles Manson is a good analogy. Had the Charles Manson murders happened today, would it really be as shocking as it was in 1969?

There are people that live on strife. If they aren’t happy, then they won’t allow anyone else to be happy. They cause constant friction in their home or place of work, arguing or causing dissent within a home because of their own misery or bitterness. There is the old joke, “If mamma ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy.” But God’s word tells us a contentious wife brings strife into the home. His word also tells us that husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved the church.

Deceit was something once frowned upon. Today, if you use deceit to get ahead, it’s almost expected. The courts are filled with people deceiving one another on business contracts. Deceiving someone on social media is just an everyday occurrence.

With all of the signs that Jesus gave us of the last days, evil-mindedness is what many people have in them in order to do most of what they do today. It takes a truly evil mind to murder someone in cold blood, but we see it every day.

People whisper plots and plans against those whom they don’t like – against a political opponent, against the Jewish man with the kippah, etc. A young 15-year-old boy earlier this week plotted with two friends to murder his mother. They attacked her, strangled her and stabbed her to death. They did a lot of whispering and plotting beforehand, admittedly.

This also reminds me of bearing false witness. A backbiter is someone who will viciously attack you from behind. You may not even know it. These people will shake your hand and pat you on the back while readying the knife behind you. In the last days, these are the people you really need to watch for. God told us to hide His word in our hearts and make sure you do.

With all of these signs, being haters of God is what brings the hatred toward Christians. Remember, Jesus said they hated Him first. If they hated Him, they will hate you.

Abortion is not of God, but pro-lifers are attacked with hatred for defending life. Our life here is a constant battle between good and evil. Our spiritual life could be summed up by a criminal court proceeding – Satan is our prosecutor, Jesus is our defender, and God is our Judge. There are also false witnesses and witnesses of God who will be condemned with you.

This has to be the most violent generation. While there has always been violence, today we witness young men and women shooting each other, stabbing one another, and attacking one another over something as silly as a social media post. Our children are raised on violence from video games to movies. There is violence in the home and violence in the schoolhouse. This generation has grown accustomed to hearing about murder, rape, drugs and mass incarceration.

With every downfall comes pride. Where are the days of pride in your country? Pride in your family?

This generation is ashamed of the country that offers them the very freedoms they demand and have grown accustomed to. Our younger generation has been brainwashed to think of rules and consequences as something of days past. Pride will cause the downfall of a marriage, and children not to speak to parents. People today simply can’t acknowledge when they are wrong. They would rather hold onto the lie than admit the truth. They would rather deny God than live according to His will. With pride comes boasting. Nobody likes a boaster.

Lying about someone and inventing evil because of politics or religion is all too common today. In other parts of the world, Christians are lied about, and it results in death. This last generation is in constant search of new, evil ways that go against God’s word.

This generation sees a huge problem with disobedience to parents; and with the disrespect comes an undiscerning attitude. If children aren’t taught to obey their parents, how can they learn to obey God? Kids today are encouraged not to listen to their parents. There is a lack of judgment before action on something. This generation will spread the same fake news story they heard from someone else but will never check for themselves. We are surrounded by untrustworthy and unloving people, having no love for God or for what is right.

God gave the ultimate gift to us in order to receive forgiveness for our sins. He gave His Son as the ultimate and final sacrifice. He forgives us for all of our sins; He knows our heart. While God forgives us, we have a hard time forgiving someone who wronged us. We are unforgiving of the smallest slights against us.

I have been following the story coming out of the U.K. in regards to baby Alfie Evans. The hospital and the U.K. high courts have both denied the parents the opportunity of taking their child to Italy for further tests and evaluation. They shut off Alfie’s life support yesterday. Twenty hours later, Alfie is still breathing, but beginning to struggle. There is no mercy in this. I pray for a miracle for this family.

Proverbs 19:11 tells us, “Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.”

Good sense is hard to find today. Someone not being offended is even harder. Pastors are afraid to teach repentance to their church in fear of being called a bigot, misogynistic or homophobic. They are afraid of OFFENDING someone. If they teach repentance, then they are telling their congregation something they are doing is WRONG.

As Christians we are to repent.

Acts 2:37-39 “Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, ‘Men and brethren, what shall we do?’ Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.’”

These pastors are not doing their congregation any favors. Jesus did not come to give us riches on earth as these prosperity teachers “preach.” Our riches are not on this earth, but are with God. Jesus didn’t come to save you from your credit card company. He came to save you from hell. He came to save you from your sins. As Christians we profess our sins and are forgiven. The foolish pray to Jesus for a new car or boat.

“That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits” (Isaiah 30:9-10).

The church would rather hear these “smooth” words from preachers like Joel Osteen. He will stand before God and will be more harshly judged for leading God’s people astray. He’s not the only one.

“It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.”

THAT is what offends God. What we as Christians love, many are offended at.

There is one way to salvation. It is not by preventing “global warming.” It is not through a one-world government or religion. You will not live forever through Botox and plastic surgery. If you confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, truly knowing and believing that He died for your sins, you will be forgiven.

Don’t worry about what offends the world. WORRY ABOUT WHAT OFFENDS GOD.

In closing, I leave you with Luke 12:49-53 “I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished! Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three. Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”

Destruction of Damascus & the Coming Invasion

Destruction of Damascus and the Coming Islamic Invasion of Israel

In part one of this series, I wrote about the coming Psalm 83 war – Edom (Palestinians/Jordanians) attacking His brother Jacob (Israel). This will no doubt leave the rest of the Muslim world enraged. I believe the destruction of Damascus will be very close to the Psalm 83 war prophesied. As the Edomites come closer to entering Jerusalem, Erdogan comes closer to entering Damascus, with Iraq in his sight. This is part two of my series, the destruction of Damascus and the coming Ezekiel 38 war.

Damascus is the world’s oldest continually inhabited city in the world. The Bible says Damascus will be destroyed overnight. Since this has never happened, we know it’s a prophetic future event. There has been a war raging in Syria for 7 years, and yet the city of Damascus has gone relatively unscathed. Assad still runs his government from Damascus.

Isaiah 17:1-3 “Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap. The cities of Aroer are forsaken; They will be for flocks which lie down, and no one will make them afraid. The fortress also will cease from Ephraim, the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria; They will be as the glory of the children of Israel,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

Damascus was one of the first cities to receive Christianity during the ministry of Apostle Paul. There were more Christians in Damascus than anywhere else in the world at the time of the apostles. It was on the road to Damascus that Paul was blinded by Jesus.  He saw and heard Jesus ask him why he was persecuting Him.

Paul, who was Saul before his conversion, was a fierce persecutor of Christians. He also approved the first stoning of a Christian, Steven, whom the apostles appointed as a deacon in the early church.

Acts 7:57:58 “…they all rushed at him (Stephen), dragged him out of the city, and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul….”  And Saul was there, giving approval to his death.

After this event, Saul began his persecution. Saul began to seek out Christians from house to house, dragging off men and women to put them in prison.

Who does this today – drags Christians from their homes to imprison or kill them? Muslims. Saul was no different than a Muslim who persecutes Christians today, until he was blinded and truly able to see by the Messiah Himself. Saul, like Muslims, took up the sword to punish Christians. So it’s not hard to see Jewish men in the first century having a fierce hatred towards Christians. The Jews felt that the Christians were blaspheming their God by claiming Him as the Christians’ God, not only for the Jewish people but salvation for the Gentiles.

Acts 22:4-5 “I persecuted the followers of this Way to their death, arresting both men and women and throwing them into prison, as also the high priest and all the Council can testify. I even obtained letters from them to their brothers in Damascus, and went there to bring these people as prisoners to Jerusalem to be punished.”

Saul’s persecutions led to the death of Christian men and women living in and near Jerusalem. His hatred was fierce. While these men and women were imprisoned, he went through their letters and found other Christians living in Damascus. So he decided to set out. But something happened. God chose Saul, the persecutor of His people, to spread His Word. Jesus came to him, asking why he was persecuting Him. Saul’s conversion began.

He was blinded, but then he was truly able to see when he reached Damascus. When God removed his blindness, He removed his hardened heart. His hatred for Christians left with his blindness. The fierce hunter of Christians became a fierce warrior for Christ. The hunter also soon became the hunted. Saul was now Paul, fearless in the eyes of all men in his pursuit to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Acts 9:20-22 “At once he (Paul of Tarsus) began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God. All those who heard him were astonished and asked, ‘Isn’t he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this name? And hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?’ Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Christ.”

The Jewish people could not understand this. A Jew that hunted Christians is now telling them he is a Christian?

Paul’s conversion on the road to Damascus changed the course of human history. Paul was both Roman and Jewish. God chose him to begin teaching salvation through Jesus Christ to all men, Gentile and Jew. Much of what Paul wrote in the New Testament is believed to have been written while he was imprisoned. About 25% of the NT is written by Paul. It was through Paul that the Gentiles were first hearing the gospel, and it was Paul that admonished the other apostles for not including the Gentiles in all things Christ.

The Christian roots of Damascus have long been forgotten. Unlike today, where people question the very existence of Jesus, the disciples weren’t trying to prove the existence of Jesus; they were proving the divinity of Jesus. They were proving He was the Messiah, the living Son of God. There was no question He existed and no question He changed the world. It wasn’t until the last couple of centuries that His existence really started to be questioned.

Syria played a vital role in the spread of Christianity. Today, it plays a vital role in terrorism. Today, there are many “Saul’s” persecuting Christians.

Eastern Ghouta, a suburb of Damascus, has been under siege and held by the rebel forces since 2011, until this month. The Syrian army recently defeated the rebels and took Eastern Ghouta back. This is the first time Assad’s army has controlled Eastern Ghouta in six years.

Two weeks ago there was a chemical weapons attack that allegedly killed several dozen, including children. The question is why and who? Why would Assad, who just had a decisive victory, use chemical weapons? It doesn’t add up, I’m afraid.

The US, France and Britain strike on the chemical facilities in Syria, I’m willing to bet, is the spark that will lead to the destruction of Damascus and World War 3.

This gives Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan all the more reason to march towards Damascus in the name of rooting out terrorists. The rebels have been unable to seize Damascus and have just lost Eastern Ghouta. The Turkish military under Erdogan won’t be so easy to beat. Erdogan has his eyes on Israel. He has been very vocal about this, but is still a member of NATO.  This leads me to believe this is why the other nations will suddenly stop and ask, wait, where are you going? He is going to Israel.

Ezekiel 38:13 “Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all its villages, shall say unto you, Have you come to take plunder? have you gathered your company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?”

Sheba and Dedan are in Saudi Arabia. Tarshish is believed by many to be Western Europe (think Brexit!), and the young lions I believe to be the United States. The U.S. has protected Israel and will continue to protect Israel and her interests. Surprisingly, Saudi Arabia is allied with Israel, just as prophesied.

The nations with the most hatred against Israel are now fully engaged in Syria. If the world was a Risk board-game, we would see one giant buildup in Syria from every nation in the world. Recep Tayyip Erdogan is leading the anti-Israeli rhetoric.

After recent remarks by Erdogan about marching to Jerusalem and accusing Israel of murdering Palestinian children, Benjamin Netanyahu replied, “I am not used to receiving lectures about morality from a leader who bombs Kurdish villagers in his native Turkey, who jails journalists, who helps Iran get around international sanctions, and who helps terrorists, including in Gaza, kill innocent people.”

“That is not the man who is going to lecture us,” he added.

Erdogan is reviving the Ottoman Empire. He is threatening Israel. And his invasion of Syria has also put Iraq on his radar. The Gog Magog war will be led by Turkey.

Magog was the son of Japheth, who was the son of Noah. After Noah’s flood, Magog and his brothers settled in modern-day Turkey, not Russia.  Gog is simply the name of the land that Magog settled. The name is in the genealogies of Genesis 10:1-3 and 1 Chron. 1:5-6.

In Bible prophecy, Magog represents the leader of Turkey.

When Assyria attacked Israel, there were two separate kingdoms within Israel. Northern Israel was headquartered in Samaria, and southern Israel, or Judah, in Jerusalem. The proposed peace plans have all included two separate “kingdoms” – a “two-state” solution. The last time Israel was divided within itself, the Jewish people were invaded, slaughtered and carried off into slavery by the “Assyrians.”  Israel is going to divide again, in the name of peace, and the “Assyrian” has just invaded Syria again. Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Assyria included parts of Northern Iraq, northeastern Syria, southeastern Turkey and northwestern Iran. Erdogan is gaining power and is planning his united “Islamic army” to invade Israel. Not only are we seeing the nations of the Ezekiel 38 war starting to build up all over Syria, the Psalm 83 nations are amassing on the Israeli border in what they are calling “the right of return.” May 15 is approaching, and the riots on the Gaza border are getting more violent. Will the 70th anniversary of Israel’s rebirth be the beginning of Daniels 70thweek?

If the inner circle of nations do indeed invade Israel’s border fence, there will be a massive response from Israel. The world doesn’t seem to care what is happening in Syria. The U.N. doesn’t care how many children die in Syria. One Palestinian death, Hamas related or not, is worth more to the international community than all of the dead children in Syria.

I strongly believe the Psalm 83 war will precede the Ezekiel war. The destruction of Damascus may very well happen in the coming days. Whatever peace covenant Israel makes will be canceled.

Isaiah 28:14-16, 18 “Therefore, hear the word of the LORD, O scoffers, who rule this people who are in Jerusalem, because you have said, ‘We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we have made a pact. The overwhelming scourge will not reach us when it passes by, for we have made falsehood our refuge and we have concealed ourselves with deception.’

“Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, ‘Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, a costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed… Your covenant with death will be canceled, and your pact with Sheol will not stand; When the overwhelming scourge passes through, then you become its trampling.”

I believe the Psalm 83 war is what brings a false, temporary peace to Israel. It will halt Erdogan now, but this simply gives him more time to acquire his Islamic army from many nations, as mentioned in the Bible. Israel being victorious will enrage much of the Muslim world.

Ezekiel 38:11 says Israel will feel secure and be living in safety when they are attacked by this coalition. This cannot be said right now. In EZEKIEL 38:13 is where the other nations will question the true motives. The Palestinian motives are already known.

In Ezekiel 39:9, Israel (IDF) is clearly victorious because they will burn their enemies’ weapons for seven years as energy and fuel. If this was Armageddon, then you have to explain why they would burn these weapons for energy and fuel when God’s presence, in all His glory, is what illuminates the new Holy City. Ezekiel 39:9 is a reference to nuclear energy Israel will use as their own. Are these seven years the same as the tribulation’s seven years? The first half is safety and peace, and the second half brings destruction.

1 Thess. 5:3 “For when they shall say, ‘Peace and safety;’ then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

Turkish President Erdogan, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani met together this month over Syria. The pope has met with all three. Why is a religious leader meeting privately with world leaders that call for the destruction of Israel and the Jewish people?  These are not average world leaders. These are the strongest military forces in the region. Two are anti-Christianity, Iran and Turkey, as they both deny Jesus Christ and imprison Christians!

These wars are going to be something we haven’t seen in our lifetime. What better time is there for a one-world religion than after two massive “religious” wars? To bring all religions and nations together in order to prevent another slaughter in the Holy Land.

Ezekiel 39:11-12 says that the dead will be buried over a period of seven months. There would be no need to bury the dead if this war is what brings Jesus Christ’s Second Coming.

Immediately after Satan’s final rebellion, talked about in Revelation, is the Great White Throne of judgment (20:11-15)

I believe the Psalm 83 war will bring in the signing of a peace deal between Israel, Erdogan and an Islamic coalition. Who better to help negotiate a religion of peace than the pope? The signing of the peace deal will begin the seven-year tribulation.

After the Psalm 83 war and the peace treaty, Israel will remain a sovereign state, but they will feel safe. For a time. It’s during the time of safety that the temple will be rebuilt. Jews do not believe their Messiah can come without this temple. It’s hard to picture the Palestinians letting them build this temple peacefully. But for three and one half years they will have peace.

During this time Erdogan and surrounding nations will continue to plot against Israel.

There is one nation Jesus said held the seat of Satan, and that is Turkey. Psalm 83 must happen first because, during the Ezekiel invasion, Israel will be living securely. Right now, they are anything but secure.

Revelation 2:13 “I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is….”

An interesting note is there’s no mention of Satan in Ezekiel 38-39, but he is in Revelation. Satan has used many kingdoms and kings throughout history to slaughter the Jews and Christians and to take the Holy Land.

The names may have changed but the people and places are the same. Antioch is where the first Gentile Church was built. The evidence for Christianity throughout Syria is evident. Syria was an important and vital country for the spread of Christianity in the first century.

During the Ottoman Empire, Christians were plundered and then killed or forced to convert. Once a major hub for trade, Damascus has indeed grown feeble.

Jeremiah 49:24 “Damascus has grown feeble; She turns to flee, and fear has seized her. Anguish and sorrows have taken her like a woman in labor.”

My understanding of God’s word is that Damascus’ falling and Psalm 83 will happen relatively close together in time.

Ezekiel 35:10:11 “Because you have said, ‘These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess them,’ although the LORD was there, ‘therefore, as I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘I will do according to your anger and according to the envy which you showed in your hatred against them; and I will make Myself known among them when I judge you.’”

Israel being victorious over Jordan and the Palestinians will enrage the Muslim world; they are going to want blood and swift revenge. They will begin their plotting and planning, and then something happens. Pope Francis possibly steps in performing miracles and merges all religions. But the Muslims won’t do that, you say? The similarities between Islam and Catholicism are astounding. I have outlined these similarities in previous articles. These two religions make up almost 3 billion people worldwide. After the massive loss of life in Israel and Jordan, the people will beg for peace.

Daniel 9:27 “Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.”

Could it be that the pope will help broker this peace treaty? The pope is certainly shocking his fellow Catholics with the blasphemous things that he says, such as atheists can go to heaven without belief. This is not true, and they are being condemned to hell, by God, through a major religious leader’s words. I have a hard time accepting that Christians and Jews will bow down to Erdogan as God. I can see weak Christians and the Jewish people waiting for their messiah, believing in a false messiah though

The false prophet and Antichrist will begin the worst persecution of Christians and Jews that the world has ever experienced. Christians throughout Africa, Asia and the Middle East have been under a systematic Islamic genocide since the start of the Syrian war. As the world watches Syria, Nigeria has been slaughtering Christians by the thousands and demolishing villages.

Matthew 24:21 “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

Pope Francis has slowly been delegitimizing the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. He is now denying the existence of hell. Pope Francis called Jesus Christ a failure, yet we know He is victorious.

One end-time Islamic teaching is that Jesus will return and will declare himself a Muslim. I can easily see the pope claiming to be a Muslim. They also believe all other religions will be destroyed. Crosses will all be destroyed. The Muslim messiah will pursue the Islamic “Antichrist” into Israel to defeat him. They believe a “great” beast will rise that calls the world to worship Allah. Their messiah (Mahdi) is our Antichrist; our Antichrist is their Messiah.

We don’t know exactly how things are going to unfold, but we know these things will happen. Since the moment President Trump announced the embassy move, prophecy has spiraled towards World War 3. As Christians, we know these things must take place before the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior. As Christians, we see the signs; we know Jacob’s trouble is near. Stay strong and faithful in God’s word. Be like Paul—a fearless warrior for Christ!

Matthew 24:4-9 “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

Islam in bible prophecy-Psalm 83, Esau and Edom

Ishmael is recognized as the father of Islam. Abraham was promised a son, but he and Sarah grew impatient waiting on God’s promise. He had Ishmael with Hagar, his wife Sarah’s Egyptian servant. After Hagar conceived Ishmael, she began to despise Sarah and began treating her in a hateful way. The Bible says Sarah dealt with her harshly and Hagar ran away. But God spoke to her and told her to return to Sarah and that her son would father a great nation.

Then, years later, God’s promise was fulfilled and Sarah conceived Isaac. When Ishmael was about 13, Sarah saw Ishmael mocking Isaac, who was a very small child. We know this because the Bible says on that day Isaac was weaned from Sarah.

Sarah told Abraham to cast out Hagar and Ishmael. She would not allow Ishmael to mock her son, live with him or share in his blessings.

Abraham loved his oldest son; he was grieved. He did not want to send him away; but when God told him to listen to Sarah, Abraham listened. Brokenhearted and alone, in the middle of the hot desert, the water ran out and Hagar could not watch Ishmael die; she cried out to God to take him but not let her watch. “Let me not see the death of the boy.”

So she sat opposite him, and lifted her voice and wept. And God heard the voice of the lad. Then the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said to her, “What ails you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad and hold him with your hand, for I will make him a great nation.”

There is something important to note here. Ishmael stayed with his father Abraham until he was at least 13 years old. He knew God and was taught the same teachings by his father that Isaac received. There is no indication that Ishmael ever turned from Abraham’s teachings, but his sons did, intermarrying with the godless and forgetting the God of their father. The Muslims do not honor the God of their fathers. They honor a god (Allah) of war (fortresses).

Daniel 11:37-38 “He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things.”

Then we have the twin brothers, Jacob (renamed Israel, by God) and Esau (Edom-Palestinians and Jordanians). God came to Rebecca in a dream and said, “Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.”

God saw in Jacob what he did not find in Esau. Esau thought so little of his inheritance that he sold it for a bowl of soup.  Rebecca convinced Jacob to deceive Isaac into blessing him instead of Esau, fulfilling what God spoke to Rebecca. When Esau found out, he was filled with rage and declared he was going to kill his brother Jacob once Isaac died. Jacob then fled.

Esau was not a man fit to inherit the blessing. While he loved his father, he was not a godly man; on the other hand, Jacob was.  Esau wanted his father’s blessing, but he did not want the obligation of obeying God. He wanted the worldly blessing but had no interest in the spiritual blessing.

First, Ishmael’s birthright is given to his younger brother Isaac and then Esau’s birthright is given to his younger brother Jacob. Later, this “rejected” son of Isaac married the daughter of the rejected son Ishmael. Esau’s marriage to one of Ishmael’s daughters forever linked the Ishmaelites with Edom and Esau.

The hatred the later Ishmaelites and Edomites had for Isaac and Jacob continues today. Muslims also teach that it was Ishmael who received Isaac’s blessing.

Through these men, we see the blessings by God and the persecutors of God’s people beginning to form.  Through Abraham’s seed, two nations were born. These two nations struggled in the womb and continue to struggle today. Esau is Edom (Ishmaelites, Gen 36:1). Jacob is Israel (Jews, Gen 32:28). Psalm 83 tells us how it will end. It’s not good for Edom (Jordan).

Abraham is considered the father of all three major religions. The Bible doesn’t go into much detail about Ishmael. Isaac and Ishmael may have reconciled when Isaac died, or it’s possible they never lost touch through Abraham. Genesis does tell us that together Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave where Sarah’s body lay.

“And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah.”

Esau and Jacob reconciled years later to bury their father Isaac. But Esau’s story doesn’t end how you think; Esau’s end came during Jacob’s burial.

Esau took all the possessions of Isaac after his death and settled in Seir, which is in Edom. The house of Jacob, or Israel, possessed the whole land of Canaan from that day forward.

There is a lot to focus on with Esau. God clearly made it understood that Esau gave away any legal claim of his birthright to his brother Jacob, and of his own free will.

In the Book of Jasher, we read:

“And Esau took all this, and he and his children went home to the land of Seir the Horite, away from his brother Jacob and his children.

“And Esau had possessions amongst the children of Seir, and Esau returned not to the land of Canaan from that day forward.

“And the whole land of Canaan became an inheritance to the children of Israel for an everlasting inheritance, and Esau with all his children inherited the mountain of Seir.”

The book of Jasher tells us Esau was beheaded at the burial site of his brother Jacob. Esau blocked the cave for burial, claiming it to be part of his inheritance. Jacob’s grandson cut his head off for disrespecting his grandfather and halting the burial.

“And Chushim was dumb and deaf, still he understood the voice of consternation amongst men.

“And he asked, saying, Why do you not bury the dead, and what is this great consternation? and they answered him the words of Esau and his sons; and he ran to Esau in the midst of the battle, and he slew Esau with a sword, and he cut off his head, and it sprang to a distance, and Esau fell amongst the people of the battle.

“And when Chushim did this thing, the sons of Jacob prevailed over the sons of Esau, and the sons of Jacob buried their father Jacob by force in the cave, and the sons of Esau beheld it.”

This would certainly explain the everlasting contempt and struggle between Israel and Edom.

As Israel gears up to celebrate their 70th Independence Day and the opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem, have the surrounding areas of Psalm 83 been organizing together against Israel?  The Palestinian’s have said the opening of the embassy is a declaration of war. Those with Jordan and the West Bank include Lebanon, Gaza, parts of Iraq and possibly Egypt.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say the Israeli’s will have a peace treaty with the Palestinians or Jordanians. I think the peace treaty of 7 years, that is broken midway, is a treaty with the surrounding Muslim nations, led by Turkey.

Obadiah 1:6-7 “Oh, how Esau shall be searched out! How his hidden treasures shall be sought after! All the men in your confederacy shall force you to the border; the men at peace with you shall deceive you and prevail against you. Those who eat your bread shall lay a trap for you. No one is aware of it.”

Obadiah 1:18 “The house of Jacob will be a fire and the house of Joseph a flame; the house of Esau will be stubble, and they will set it on fire and consume it. There will be no survivors from the house of Esau. The LORD has spoken.”

Jacob and Joseph represent Israel, and Esau represents Jordan and the Palestinians. Jordan has control of the Temple Mount. Jordan has also recently become increasingly hostile to Israeli Jews being near the Temple Mount. It’s unlawful for Israeli Jews or tourists to have on them anything that represents Judaism or Christianity. Jews and Christians cannot sing, pray or make any religious overtures at all. Jordan and Israel are circling one another; Jordan is looking for a weak spot.

With the mass world outrage (planned) expected in May, it’s not hard to envision Judea and Samaria (West Bank) coming under attack.

Obadiah 1: 13-15 “You should not have entered the gate of My people in the day of their calamity. Indeed, you should not have gazed on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity.

“You should not have stood at the crossroads to cut off those among them who escaped; nor should you have delivered up those among them who remained in the day of distress. For the day of the Lord upon all the nations is near; As you have done, it shall be done to you…”

If there was a sudden Palestinian attack on the Jewish people of Samaria and Judea, those that are able to escape would flee to Jordan, only Jordan will not help them. God will destroy them through Israeli military power. God said he would take revenge on Edom by the hands of His people – the military might of the IDF and her allies.

Obadiah 1:9 “Your warriors, O Teman, will be terrified, and everyone in Esau’s mountains will be cut down in the slaughter.”

Ezekiel 25:13-14 “Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will stretch out my hand against Edom and kill its men and their animals. I will lay it waste, and from Teman to Dedan they will fall by the sword. I will take vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel and they will deal with Edom in accordance with my anger and my wrath; they will know my vengeance, declares the Sovereign LORD.”

Remember, the Palestinian people are actually Jordanian. The “Palestinian” people were separated from Jordan during the Trans-Jordan annexation.

As Erdogan invades Syria, heading to Damascus, the Palestinians and Jordanians are gearing up for the embassy move in May. War is looming no matter how you look at it. All three prophecies are set in motion now. I believe the Psalm 83 war will happen before Ezekiel 38. I also think Damascus will be destroyed now that Turkey has invaded Syria. Prophecy is moving too fast and accurate to slow down now.

Sitting quietly but impatiently is Pope Francis. The Vatican has not given up on controlling Jerusalem. I believe a brutal war is headed to Israel, and very soon. The Bible warns the Jewish people living in Judea and Samaria to flee.

The Temple Mount is located in the West Bank. Judea and Samaria are located in the West Bank. There are large Jewish populations in areas of the West Bank that could be overtaken quickly.

Israel has had restraint in the face of a daily threat since their rebirth. They have strategically targeted terrorists such as Hamas, not citizens. They are under more scrutiny than any other nation in the world. What will lead to Israel and Edom entering a full-scale war ending with the destruction of Jordan and Palestinian-controlled areas? Could it be a large-scale terrorist attack like 9-11?

It’s during war that people cry for peace the most. The peace treaty could be signed during/after the Psalm 83 war to prevent any more bloodshed – to call a truce between Jacob and his brother Esau and between Isaac and Ishmael – the Jews and the Muslims.

“Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people.”

Judea and Samaria are swallowed up on all sides and occupied by “heathens,” meaning Muslims. The lips of “talkers” sound like the U.N. and the constant attacks on Israel through resolutions. They talk about peace but in reality have no intention of treating Israel with fairness. They help the “heathens.”

These wars are all distinct, and each is very different from the war in Revelation. Armageddon can’t be the Ezekiel 38-39 war, or the Psalm 83 war. In Revelation, this is where all the nations of the earth will attack Israel, not just surrounding nations or the King of the North.

The Psalm 83 war will lead to the Ezekiel 38 war, but it will first bring a peace treaty between Israel and the many nations mentioned in Ezekiel 38. During the Psalm 83 war, the nations listed in Ezekiel 38 will rethink their strategy after Jordan and the Palestinians are decimated.

President Trump isn’t exactly what I’d call a role model for Christianity or Judaism, but neither was Nebuchadnezzar or many others God used throughout history; but God used them. Paul was one of the fiercest persecutors of Christians, and he became God’s greatest disciple. Since President Trump made this announcement, prophetic events are at lightening speed. There is no going back.

As these wars loom, the world has ignored or forgotten those that are enduring genocide right now, a persecution. In the middle of all the chaos, Christians are being quietly slaughtered. In Nigeria; Sudan; Syria; Egypt; Saudi Arabia; Iraq; Pakistan; India; North Korea; China – the list goes on.

As Christians, we see prophecy unfolding before our very eyes and know His return is imminent. God said Israel is the apple of His eye. Every time these nations attack or provoke Israel, they are essentially poking God in the eye. His wrath is coming. Soon, He will no longer allow His holy name to be blasphemed, by anyone.

“For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.’”

Islam and the Vatican

Islam and the Catholic Church – A Long History of Persecution Against Christians and the Shocking Similarities Between the Two Religions

“The Messiah, Isa [Jesus], son of Miriam [Mary], was no more than Allah’s apostle…so believe in Allah and His apostles and do not say ‘Trinity’…Allah forbid that he should have a son” (Koran).

There were many things Jesus warned us of and prepared us for in the last days. The Bible talks about the mother of all harlots, a prostitute who has been unfaithful to Him. The Catholic Church is what many people think of when they think of Christianity. The Catholic Church is also the absolute mother of all harlots.

Through her, tens of millions have been lead astray, deceived, and even murdered in Christ’s name, for the witness of Christ. Catholics that professed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior were persecuting and slaughtering people that professed and believed in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Why? Because these true followers of Jesus put Him and His testimony above the Catholic Church and the pope. The Bible warned us of this beast clothed in scarlet and purple, the colors cardinals and priests within the Catholic Church adorn themselves in.

“I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication (Revelation 17:4-5).

Over the last several years, several new theories on the Antichrist and final beast kingdom have been gaining discussion. The Vatican has long been the focus, but recently many people have started looking towards Islam. But, let’s face it; until 9-11 not many people were talking about Islam. Is our focus being redirected purposely?

The Holy Roman Catholic Church began its official political reign in 538.

Under the Roman Catholic Church’s reign, more than fifty million Christians were murdered. They were murdered for refusing to acknowledge the pope as God on earth. Foxe’s book of Martyrs gives a barbaric and brutal description of the torture Christians who renounced the pope faced.

The problem, for centuries, has been that the Vatican has taken on the role of being the gatekeepers to Christianity. When people think of Catholicism they automatically think of Christianity, but the two are not the same. While I personally feel that there are Christians attending the Catholic Church, the institution itself is not Christian; if anything, it is anti-Christ. There were many signs given to us by Jesus to recognize who it was that He spoke of.

Matthew 24:24 “For false Christ’s and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”

Matthew 24:5 tells us “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.”

Nobody has come more often in Christ’s name than the Catholic Church. The pope is called God on earth often. The papacy throughout history slaughtered Christians for refusing to acknowledge the pope as God on earth.

In 1302 AD, Pope Boniface said this in a letter to the Catholic Church:

“Furthermore, we declare, we proclaim, we define that it is absolutely necessary for salvation that every human creature be subject to the Roman Pontiff.”

In Revelation, God tells His people to come out of her, lest they partake in her judgment.

Revelation 18:4 “And I heard another voice from heaven saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.’”

Catholicism began in Pagan Rome under Emperor Constantine. Before a major battle in which he was outnumbered, Constantine saw a vision in the sky that he would prevail against his enemy, Maxentius, in the sign of the cross. The emperor confidently marched to Rome, and his warriors painted crosses on their shields, even though they were pagans.

After he was victorious, to show gratitude to the God of the Christians, the victor immediately decreed that Christian worship be tolerated throughout the Roman Empire. Over 300 years of brutal and barbaric slaughter of Christians under the Roman Empire was over. In 313 AD, Constantine signed an edict that made “Christianity” legal. But the slaughter that ended under Constantine was just a prelude to the real persecution of the saints.

For over 300 years after Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, Rome attempted to wipe out all Christians, but it didn’t work. The more Christians Rome slaughtered, even more became Christians. They could not kill them quickly enough. As Christians were fed to starving lions or burned alive to light Nero’s gardens, they grew in numbers. The Christian movement could not be contained. So what now? If you can’t beat them, join them, and destroy them from within. Jesus warned us and prepared us.

Acts 20:29-30 “For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.”

The vast majority of the Roman Empire today is Muslim. Constantinople is where the Roman Empire continued on for over 1,000 years after East and West split, until the Ottoman Empire conquered Constantinople through bloodshed.

There have been many Antichrist Kingdoms throughout history – Rome being one that began a brutal persecution on God’s elect. By 538 AD, the legal supremacy of the pope started when Emperor Justinian made the Bishop of Rome “the Head of all Churches.” This was the Edict of Justinian.

After Constantine legalized Christianity, Christians began to feel safe. They held political office; and under Theodosius, “Christianity” became the the new official religion of the Roman Empire. The Romans brought paganism directly into the church with them, which led to the Roman Catholic Church and its slaughter of the saints (Christians) foretold in the Bible. For 1,260 years, Christians were murdered for not bowing down to papal authority over Jesus Christ. Many popes came in Jesus’s name, and many slaughtered Christians. The Catholic Church has deceived God’s people for over 1,500 years.

“Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.”

As an Antichrist Kingdom, Constantine began the changing of time and law. Out of all of God’s commandments to both Gentile and Jew, only one begins with REMEMBER – meaning do not forget and do not change, but REMEMBER MY SABBATH day to keep it holy. Jesus never changed the day of the Sabbath.

Luke 4:16 “So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.”

By 538 AD, the pagan traditions and idols were so firmly rooted within the Catholic Church, that any resemblance of the Christian message Jesus Himself taught was all but gone. And this was all done in the name of Jesus.

Jesus Himself was baptized by submersion. When you submerge yourself, you become a new person, you are born again. The Roman Catholic Church changed this to sprinkling. This is not what Christ taught.

The Catholic Church has deceived people into believing that it’s near impossible to get to heaven, and without the papacy, there is no hope. Millions of Christians died for refusing to accept this. The Roman Catholic Church began a new scheme to scare the masses. Purgatory. There is no biblical foundation for purgatory; it does not exist.

Pope Leo X began a campaign of saving lost souls from the fire of purgatory by works and money. He began selling indulgences to build St. Peter’s Basilica. If you donated, then you could save your dear mother or other loved one from purgatory. This is not what Jesus taught us. You do not get to heaven by works or by money. You are saved through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. You are saved by grace.

Pope Leo XXI: “But the supreme teacher in the Church is the Roman Pontiff. Union of minds, therefore, requires, together with a perfect accord in the one faith, complete submission and obedience of will to the Church and to the Roman Pontiff, as to God Himself.”

More recently, Pope John Paul II said: “Have no fear when people call me the “Vicar of Christ,” when they say to me “Holy Father,” or “Your Holiness,” or use titles similar to these, which seem even inimical to the Gospel.”

Jesus told us not to call any man on earth your spiritual father. Yet, in the Catholic Church, every priest is called father, and the pope is called Holy Father. The popes have portrayed themselves as God on earth. They profess Christ while perverting His word.

Jesus said: “And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and He is in heaven” (Matthew 23:9).

At one time the Catholic Church took the scriptures away from the people, until Martin Luther began the reformation movement. The Roman Catholic Church decided only priests and bishops were able to understand God’s word. If one did try to read God’s word, they were tried as heretics.

Martin Luther said the following of Rome after a visit:

“Rome is a harlot… The Italians mocked us for being pious monks, for they hold Christian’s fools. They say six or seven masses in the time it takes me to say one, for they take money for it and I do not.”

To get an idea of how powerful the pope and the Roman Catholic Church was: on January 28, 1077 AD, King Henry (Holy Roman Emperor) stood outside in the snow for three days begging the pope to forgive him. The King had no power; the pope did. It is referred to as the humiliation at Canossa. The pope made a decree that nobody in the Holy Roman Empire should obey King Henry IV. He was excommunicated by Pope Gregory VII on behalf of God.

Pope Gregory VII made the following pronouncement at Rome:

“…on behalf of God Almighty, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and by your power and authority, I deny to King Henry, son of the Emperor Henry, who with unheard of pride has risen up against your church, the government of the whole kingdom of the Germans and of Italy; I absolve all Christians from the bond of any oath that they have made or shall make to him; and I forbid anyone to serve him as king. For it is fitting that, because he has striven to diminish the honour of your church, he himself should forfeit the honour that he seems to possess.”

The Holy Roman Catholic Church had more power than the king. In 1929, Pope Pious 12th aligned with Japan, Italy and Germany, beginning the head wound heal. The Catholic Church aligned against the countries that were trying to put a stop to Adolf Hitler.

The Vatican aligned against the United States

The Vatican is involved in both political and religious matters. Currently, the Catholic Church has over 1.2 billion members worldwide. Islam currently boasts 1.8 billion.

Pope Francis has prayed for Islam while condemning Christians. He has prayed with Islamic leaders, referring to the religion as peaceful. More surprisingly, he prayed with Recep Tayyip Erdogan. They prayed towards Mecca from the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, the conquered Constantinople that the Catholic Church once ruled.

All around Istanbul you will see traces of the Roman Catholic Empire, or more commonly known as the Byzantine Empire. The Blue Mosque’s walls are attached to the Hagia Sophia. This was the largest and most beautiful cathedral built in the Byzantine Roman Empire. When the Ottomans conquered Christendom as they saw it, by conquering Constantinople, the first thing they did was change the cathedral into a mosque, something Muslims today still do. Victory over Christendom.

Pope Francis has been on a “religion of peace” tour for most of his papacy. As more Islamic terrorist attacks happen, he speaks louder of tolerance for all things Islamic. Erdogan has recently made statements about Jerusalem being overthrown and the Jews slaughtered over the embassy move announced by President Trump. In December 2017, Erdogan said, “Those who think they own Jerusalem better know that tomorrow they will not even be able to hide behind trees.”

He more recently claimed Jews and Christians were enemies of Turkey. He has claimed his Islamic military is prepared to invade Israel.

The Bible tells us that in the last days Jerusalem will be a cup of trembling. It also says that in the last days those in Judea and Samaria will have to suddenly run for their lives; they will be overtaken and overtaken quickly. Where are Judea and Samaria? Judea and Samaria are known in the international community as the West Bank, and the West Bank is a majority Palestinian Muslim area. This has been a hotbed of violence for decades and has been used by the international community to establish anti- Israel bias.

Muslims all over the world are looking for the next Caliphate, and nobody in the Islamic faith talks about reviving the Ottoman Empire more often than President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Not only that, but the Ottoman Empire originated in Turkey. When Islam conquered Constantinople, in their eyes they essentially conquered Christendom. Who is the President of Turkey right now? Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Martin Luther is well known for his speaking against the Catholic Church. In regards to Islam, specifically the Ottomans, he said: “The Turk is the rod of the wrath of the Lord our God… If the Turk’s god, the devil, is not beaten first, there is reason to fear that the Turk will not be so easy to beat… Christian weapons and power must do it.”

The Palestinian peace process may very well be used to set up this false peace that Israel will soon have. I think this peace treaty will be signed by many Islamic nations, not just Israel and the Palestinian people. What better need is there for a peace treaty than in time of war? The Middle East is a tinderbox right now. Iran is in Syria. Turkey is in Syria. Russia is in Syria. The U.S. is in Syria. More countries are getting involved as time goes on. Israel’s tiny country is right in the middle, surrounded. Who better to help this peace process along than the pope?

The final Antichrist Kingdom is going to try to fool some of the very elect; that means Christians. The only way you will be deceived is if you are weak in your faith and lacking in God’s word. If you know Him and His word, you will not be deceived. When Jesus said every eye will see Him coming on the clouds of heaven in glory, that is how He is returning! The same way He departed. You’re not going to miss Him and hear about it on Facebook later; everyone will see Him. Jesus told us specifically.

Jesus warned us of this false religion and false teachers. The Catholic Church is filled with false teachers and prophets.

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:15-21).

We have the Ottomans and we have the Roman Catholic Church. While Muslims have murdered millions of Christians to date, the Roman Catholic Church has murdered tens of millions during a specific time frame given. Each of these kingdoms has tried to destroy not only the Jewish people, but also Christians and the state of Israel.

The Ottoman Empire ended less than 100 years ago, but are they the Empire in Revelation? There are men still alive today from the oldest generation that had fathers and grandfathers that were part of the Ottoman Empire. Their fathers and grandfathers fought for the Ottoman Empire and slaughtered millions of Armenian and Greek Christians. Some of these men from the oldest generation heard stories from their fathers and grandfathers of their own memories of this great empire, its decline and ultimate defeat.

Islam has a long history of violence against Christians, and that violence is on the rise once again. In fact, it has increased every year for the last three years. So why would the pope, who claims to represent Christianity, be so blatant in his praise of Islam? The Vatican has not given up on ruling over Jerusalem. The Muslims want Jerusalem, so why not use their might and power to gain it?

The Vatican owns Christian landmarks in Jerusalem. In end times, it seems one of these beasts is the might and muscle and the other is the lamb deceiving the multitudes. What is Satan’s ultimate goal? To deceive you. To deceive and destroy Christianity, Gods elect. The Bible tells us that this first beast makes war with the saints.

Who is making war with the saints right now across the world? Islam. But Pope Francis is acting like what can only be described as a False Prophet and is doing nothing to help Christians. If anything, he is busy condemning the very core of Christianity while praising Islam. Our focus is being diverted.

“For if someone comes and preaches another Jesus than the one we preached…or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you submit to it readily enough” (2 Cor 11: 4).

Muslims acknowledge Jesus; they even give him the status of being a prophet. There will always be truth mixed with lies to deceive. That’s why it’s so important to read God’s word for yourself. Don’t depend on someone else interpreting His word for you. Muslims deny the very thing that makes Jesus who He is, the Son of God—the Savior of the world.

Islam teaches that Jesus was secretly replaced while on the cross. Islam teaches that God has no son. Not only do they say He has no son but it’s engraved over every single mosque. The Shahada is engraved on every mosque, which is blasphemy. “There is no god but Allah and Muhammed is his messenger.”

The Koran says:

People of the Book, do not go to excess in your religion, and do not say anything about Allah except the truth: the Messiah, Isa [Jesus], son of Miriam [Mary], was nothing more than a messenger of Allah, His word, directed to Miriam [Mary], a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers and do not speak of a ‘Trinity’—stop, that is better for you—Allah is only one Allah, He is far above having a son, everything in the heavens and earth belongs to Him and He is the best one to trust.

— Qur’an, sura 4 (An-Nisa), ayat 171.

But Jesus said “Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also” (1 John 2:22-23).

Muslims teach that only the Koran is the true word of their god Allah – that the Bible has been corrupted and changed. Yet the Bible tells us:

“Until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen will by any means disappear, from the Law until everything has been accomplished” (Matthew 5:18).

In Revelation 13 we read about two beasts. One of these beasts appears as a lamb, but speaks as a dragon. Islam cannot be mistaken for a lamb, but the Roman Catholic Church can be. The Catholic Church appears as the true Christian church to the world, following Jesus Christ.

Throughout history, we see the kingdoms of Antichrist that tried destroying God’s people, both Jew and Christian – from Egypt to Rome, to the Holy Roman Empire and then the Ottomans. The Holy Roman Empire was by far the most powerful, and it is personally responsible for the slaughter of millions of Christians, and their end did not go unnoticed.

David Simpson (1745-1799) theologian and religious writer, educated at St. Johns College, Cambridge, a Methodist, wrote:

“Is it not extremely remarkable, and a powerful confirmation of the truth of Scripture prophecy, that just 1,260 years ago from the present 1798, in the very beginning of the year 538, Belisarius put an end to the empire of the Goths at Rome, leaving no power therein but the Bishop of that Metropolis?”

In 1798, the papacy ended. It suffered a mortal head wound. Under the Roman Catholic Church from 538-1798, Christians were persecuted and murdered. That is exactly 1,260 years, the same number of years Daniel said Christians would be persecuted. Pope Pius was taken prisoner after he refused to give up his papacy power. This happened under Napoleon. The Christian slaughter ended on behalf of the Roman Catholic Church, but had also been picked up centuries before by Islam.

Daniel 7.25 “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”

A Time = 1 year
Times = 2 years
Dividing of Times = 1/2 year

“And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.”

In 1929, something miraculous happened. The Papacy was given political control again.

“On February 11th, 1929, a historic treaty was signed between the Italian Government and the Vatican, re-establishing the political power and diplomatic standing of the Catholic Church which had been lost when Italy seized Rome in 1798, the last of the Papal States, on September 20th, 1870.”

Headlines of this historic treaty made news all over the world. Many headlines titled “head wound healed.”

“The Pope is again an independent sovereign ruler, as he was throughout the Middle Ages, though his temporal realm, established today, is the most microscopic independent State in the world, and probably the smallest in all history.” — THE NEW YORK TIMES, Tuesday, February 12, 1929.

Since that time, Vatican City has been established as a sovereign country, with full political recognition from other countries. In fact, many world leaders meet with the pope on political issues. The pope, for the first time in history, spoke before the United States Congress. He is heavily involved in political matters, especially the Middle East. Catholics around the world call him “the people’s pope.” It’s very evident to see how people worship him. Imagine him suddenly performing miracles and standing in the holy place?

In May, the United States is supposed to officially open the embassy in Jerusalem, just in time for the 70thanniversary of Israel’s rebirth. The announcement made in December has sparked outrage from Muslims all over the world, especially those in Israel. I firmly believe that the Jewish temple will be rebuilt. I do not think the original temple is where the Temple Mount stands today. If some major proof were to be found to prove the temple was actually near the Gihon Spring, there is nothing to stop the Jewish people from building their temple.

Jews do not think the Messiah can come until this temple is rebuilt. It will never be built on the Temple Mount. The Temple Mount is just as the Bible described, the outer court of the Gentiles. It was the 10th Roman Legion’s fortress. It was called Aelia Capitolina. There were 10,000 Roman soldiers and personnel in Jerusalem. Jerusalem was not some tiny village with a few huts and caves.

Herod’s rebuilt temple was said to be the most beautiful building in the world. The Roman Empire considered itself superior to all, and they certainly wouldn’t let the Jews and their temple “grandstand” their own fortress, which was the Temple Mount. The abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel also takes place in the third temple. The pope considers himself God on earth; who better to stand in the holy place as described in the Bible?

The Roman Empire was a nation of many people and tongues. The Roman Empire and then the Byzantine Holy Roman Empire once ruled the vast land that Muslims own today, and beyond. Through the pope, we will have a united religion. Both Islam and the Catholic Church recognize Jesus; both recognize Mary as having a virgin birth.  Both have pagan worship; both use prayer beads. Women covered in the hijab are dressed as nuns centuries ago.

Both Islam and Catholicism have a similar form of church government where the seat of authority resides in one person: the pope in Catholicism and Muhammad in Islam. The pope is for Catholics what Muhammad is for the Muslims. Both the Catholics and Muslims share the same “salvation by good works” doctrine.

“To those who believe and do deeds of righteousness hath Allah promised forgiveness and a great reward” (Surah 5:9).

“Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy, they will be successful. But those whose balance is light will be those who have lost their souls; in hell will they abide” (Surah 23:102-103).

Both have pilgrimages – one to Mecca for the Muslims and Rome for the Catholics. It is necessary if you are able to do so.

Both believe in purgatory, a temporal punishment for sins. This negates Jesus Christ and his taking on our sins Himself.

Works do not get you to heaven; belief in and receiving Jesus Christ does. All good people will not go to heaven. I say this not to upset people; I say it because it’s the truth. They both teach an eternal burning in hellfire, but the Bible says Christians will walk on the ashes of those sinners thrown into hellfire. The Bible tells us not to fear those who can destroy the body, but fear Him that can destroy the body AND SOUL. These that perish are destroyed by God through this fire. The flame and smoke are eternal.

Jesus tells us His people will have eternal life; the rest will perish.

John 10:28 “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Islam and the Roman Catholic Church have created this awful terrible God that will punish and torment you forever, and you can randomly lose salvation to hell; but they can get you out, for a price.

One of the most important similarities is the crescent and star. The Roman Empire used the crescent and star in their pagan worship. The Muslims later adopted it; it is now the universal symbol for Islam. It’s over every mosque in the world.

But Rome used it first, over 1,500 years before Islam even existed.

“In Byzantium, the symbol became associated with its patron goddess Artemis/Hecate, and it is used as a representation of Moon goddesses (Selene/Luna or Artemis/Diana) in the Roman era. Ancient depictions of the symbol always show the crescent with horns pointing upward and with the star (often with eight rays) placed inside the crescent. This arrangement is also found on Sassanid coins beginning in the 5th or 6th century CE.”

Both of these religions will easily worship this false Christ, especially after he brings peace and performs miracles. The religions are so similar at the foundation, that they will easily be deceived, because they do not know God’s word.

Both use their prayer beads, using vain repetition for forgiveness of sins. Muslims call this Tasbih, while Catholics call them Rosary beads. But Jesus tells us:

“And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words” (Matthew 6:7).

The Bible tells us the false prophet is going to be the most famous and the most well-liked religious leader on the planet. Who does this sound like? While Erdogan might be reviving the Ottoman Empire and is well liked by Muslims across the Middle East, I have a hard time believing he will be worshipped by people across the world. I find it harder to believe Christians will possibly be deceived by him.

The similarities in these two religions are striking. And it’s very easy to see how they could unite and worship under a one-world religion, and then begin the end-times slaughter of God’s people. They are both Antichrist in nature, but only one has the power of the pope with the people behind him! Only the pope fits who the Antichrist as a man is.

If people are so focused on one end of the spectrum, they may be caught by surprise, because they ignored the other end.

We are experiencing a great falling away in the West. During the first Ottoman Empire, Islam tried ending Christianity throughout Europe by the sword. Christians refused to bow to this beast and were killed. They fled throughout Europe, eventually coming to the new land, later to be America. Now that very Antichrist system is reviving, the Ottoman Empire, but Europe isn’t fighting; they are inviting. When the final Antichrist as a man does appear, it’s plain to see how easily it will be for millions to be deceived.

It’s a very easy thing to be deceived when you don’t know the truth or care enough to find out.

Islamic teaching is incompatible with Christianity. Roman Catholicism is incompatible with Christianity. They cannot coexist, because Islam wants you to convert or die; the Roman Catholic Church wants you to worship the pope, call him Father and bow to him as Christ on earth.

Pope Francis and Erdogan together in the Middle East is a very real scenario. Never at any time in history have the end-times nations mentioned in the Bible come against Israel, until now.

Israel is indeed a cup of trembling. Don’t take your eyes off of what Jesus told you.

“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.

“Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together” (Matthew 24:23-28).

The Roman Catholic Church has control over the “upper rooms” in Jerusalem. Jesus told us to stay away from these rooms, because HE IS NOT THERE. He then warned us do not go to the desert believing He is there. He also is not in the desert. What holy place is in the desert? Mecca. Both represent Catholicism and Islam. Again, Jesus told us how He is coming back, on the clouds of heaven, the same way He left.

Both Islam and Catholicism are Antichrist, but only one is the end-time beast spoken of in Revelation. Only one fits every description given by Jesus. The Catholic Church.

Christians disagree on many things, but we do not disagree that the only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ, who took the sins of the world upon himself, who died for your sins and rose, who sits on the right hand of the Father. So look up, your redemption is close.

ead His word; don’t be deceived. Put the whole armor of God on; defend Him. Share His word. If you are attacked or hated for sharing His word, consider yourself blessed. Jesus was persecuted first. They hate you because of Him, because they do not know Him. Pray for them, but wipe the dust from your feet and move on. For if one doesn’t want to hear God’s word, find another that does.

Jesus says, “And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them” (Mark 6:11).

In closing, I leave you with Ephesians 6:10-20.

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

“Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains;  that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”

As in the days of Noah

As in the Days of Noah :: By Vanessa Panas

Days of NoahLuke 17:26-27 “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.”

When Noah was building the ark, he was laughed at. Nobody believed that the destruction he warned of was really going to happen. When the flood gates from beneath the earth and above the firmament opened, the earth began to flood quickly. The people ran for their lives, these same people that laughed at Noah, who now remembered what he warned them of as they perished; but it was too late.

Matthew 24:37 “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

When Jesus was asked how it would be in the last days, He told us that the last days would be as the days of Noah. People will go about their everyday lives having no idea what lies ahead. They’ll be shopping, working, marrying, divorcing, celebrating new births and living in sin, not knowing (believing and receiving) God or His Son that He sent.

Without belief in Jesus, there is no salvation. As we look around us, it’s easy to see and believe we are indeed living in the last days. Has there ever been a more selfish or self-absorbed world? The reason people don’t see the times of the signs is because they don’t see or know the signs, and they are blindly living every day.

2 Timothy 3:1-7 “For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

People all over panic when they misplace their cellphones. People are absolutely addicted to their cellphones. A mother in China was on her cellphone while her two-year-old daughter walked in front of a moving car and was killed. In another instance, a mother was on her cellphone while her small child drowned several feet away; she never saw her child struggling to stay afloat. Cell phones have reshaped our society.

Reality television has reshaped our society. We watch other people on television behave in the most outrageous ways; the more outrageous, the more we love it. Our young girls look to people like Kim Kardashian as a role model.

From wickedness to war and suffering, there are many signs of Jesus’s Second Coming. One of the signs of the end times is that people will be lovers of themselves. There has been no other time in history where people have been more lovers of themselves than now.

Facebook has its own good side. You can keep up with old friends and meet new friends, share family photos, discuss politics or just chat. But then there are the millions of people that have the need to show you what they ate for breakfast, when they fight with their spouse or other family members and what they fought about. They share what they wear for the day, how they put their makeup on, and yes, even when they use the bathroom.

With sites like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, everyone seems to be looking for their 15 minutes of fame. Cell phones are always handy to snap the next best pic or a great video that will garner likes on their page. People have recorded themselves committing criminal acts such as rape, and even murder. They put it all out there for you to see, and people watch. People have watched as someone has taken their own life and they have laughed at it.

The term “selfie” has turned into selfishness. It doesn’t matter who gets hurt to many people across the world; if it gets you a few likes or comments, it’s worth it.

Many times, no matter where you go, you can see people that are together physically but so busy on their phones, in their own world, that they don’t even speak. I’ve witnessed married couples eating dinner together in a restaurant and never looking up from their phones to acknowledge one another. People are so self-absorbed and self-involved that there is no other way to describe them that fits as well as the way God’s Word described them – Lovers of themselves.

If one is so self-involved and unaware of the world around them, will they even recognize they are living in the last days that Jesus described? Or will be they be lovers of themselves and ignore the signs Jesus gave them?

Men and women of the last days are also called covetous. With the good there is always the bad. People have become so jealous of what someone else has that it’s all they think about, and it’s what they think they have to have for happiness. Everybody posts the best side of themselves on social media, the best view of their home, their brand new car, and their child’s honor-roll grades. Those that may not have a big, new house want that house. Those with an older car want their Facebook friend’s new car. They want their child to get the A’s or hit the homerun.

But, while you’re coveting what they have, maybe they are truly missing something in their life that you have. If you weren’t so busy coveting what they have, you could be working towards those things. You’d have more time for God too.

When have people boasted more about themselves? Now when people boast about how much money they make or boast about their mansion and vacations, they have an audience of possibly thousands. And people on the Internet boast about everything, which brings us to pride!

It was pride that caused Satan to feel he could be God. There are so many people that make silly claims such as “all I have is my pride.” You have more; you just don’t know where to look. Pride has been the downfall for many people. Pride is what makes a 5’5, 135 lb. man think he can win in a fight against a 6’5, 250 lb. man, even if he doesn’t want to and knows he will lose. Pride will make a man seek vengeance on someone they feel has wronged them, oftentimes forgetting or not caring about the consequences.

Pride has caused family and friends to stop speaking. There’s a difference in having pride in your work or pride in your child for something; it’s another to let pride dictate your thoughts and actions. This is the kind of pride Jesus warned of. This is worldly pride. As a Christian, Jesus took you from the world and set you apart.

Blasphemy against God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, is a sin. It’s something people have always done, but it’s something people weren’t so quick to shout and were usually ostracized for it until the last few decades. Now, it’s cool to blaspheme the name of God. Not only do many people not know (believe and receive) God, but they openly blaspheme His name. They not only blaspheme the Father, but they blaspheme the Son.

Jesus said He is “the way, the truth, and the life.” He said He is “the only way to the Father.” You will answer for your words just as you will be judged for your actions. You are not saved by works, but you will be judged for them if you are not saved through Jesus Christ. Just because you don’t believe in Him, doesn’t mean He doesn’t exist. Just because you don’t agree with Him, doesn’t mean you won’t have to give an account to Him. Jesus said every knee will bow and EVERY tongue will confess that He is Lord.

Disobedience to parents is another sign. The younger generations and now many in my own generation (42 years) have zero respect for authority of any kind. From teachers to police officers, the lack of respect is evident all around us. Respect starts in the home. If children are not made to respect their parents then they will not respect authority outside of the home either.

Today’s younger generation tells their parents what they are going to do or not do. In many instances the parent has substituted parenting with a cellphone or TV. If you don’t show your child affection, discipline or structure, don’t expect a loving child or a child that listens. We have an entire generation of selfish, self-absorbed adults that throw temper tantrums when they don’t get their way because, when they threw temper tantrums as children, it was tolerated or ignored.

Satan doesn’t want your children to be obedient to you. When they learn obedience at home at a young age, they have a much easier time being obedient to God.

When you have a generation of disrespectful people, they aren’t thankful for very much. There are people that could win a million dollars tomorrow but be angry that they have to pay taxes instead of being thankful for what they won. Many people, at the first sign of trouble, jump ship and blame God, while praising Him only as long as things are going well.

Be thankful for the health of your family; be thankful for your job. Most of all, be thankful that you have a Lord and Savior that forgives and loves. Be thankful for all blessings that God has given you. Be thankful for all you have, even if it doesn’t seem like much. It’s always more than what someone else has. America is home to the richest poor people in the world.

Another sign is unholiness. The Catholic Church is filled with priests and bishops that come in Jesus’s name and claim holiness and righteousness, but are living unholy lives and teaching unholy and false doctrine. The pope has made the claim that one does not need Jesus Christ for salvation. In Revelation, God tells His people to come out of her, this false and unholy church.

Revelations 18:4 “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

The Bible says that in the last days men would be without natural affection; Men would be truce-breakers and false accusers. There are people in this world that truly hate others. When someone can look at a baby and murder that innocent and beautiful child, they are without natural affection. They are violent, hateful and without empathy. A truce breaker is someone who doesn’t honor his word, an oath, a contract or a treaty. We see dishonest people in and out of government that are truce breakers.

When someone accuses another falsely, they do it with the intention of causing harm. God hates liars, and when you accuse a Christian falsely in certain parts of the world, it means death. They are despisers of those that are good. When someone despises you because you are a Christian, remember that Christ was hated first and it is because of Him that you are hated.

Incontinent means lack of self-control. Look all around you and you see clearly that people have a lack of self-control. I’ve seen people in stores scream and yell at the cashier for not moving fast enough. We have our youth unable to control their mouths or tempers with anyone in authority. We have adults whose lack of self-control produced children unable to control themselves today; and they wonder why.

There are fierce dividers with respect to God all over. People everywhere, including this country, think it’s okay to verbally attack or assault someone for being a Christian. They are trying to force them to choose between their God and baking a cake that celebrates same-sex marriage. Christians are accused of bigotry and homophobia, but it’s not Christians demanding you convert or die. It’s not Christians throwing homosexuals from building rooftops. We are hated because of Him.

Revelation tells us of the persecution those who wait to turn to Christ. Satan, when he is thrown out of heaven for good, will make war with the saints. Who do you think the saints are? Christians are. He knows he will have a short time of 3 ½ years to persecute Christ’s seed. The Bible also tells us he WILL overcome them. He won’t win the war, but Christians will face the fiercest persecution they’ve ever faced.

The Bible also describes these Christians as those with His testimony and who follow His commandments. What is His testimony? It’s Christians confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. With His word we confess He is the son of God. His commandments are the Ten Commandments given to Moses.

Revelation 12:17 “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”

Jesus warned us that men would be traitors. Watching the news lately, the word “traitors” is being used quite a bit to describe the FBI and the Obama administration. Whether you’re a Democrat or Republican, you should be outraged that our law enforcement and government tried to have our duly elected president framed for treason. They would also be considered false accusers.

The one thing that the United States has a long and great history of that many others do not is a peaceful transfer of power. For the first time in our nation’s history, the previous administration attempted a coup on the newly elected president.

Luke 12:2 “For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.”

Heady and high-minded people are all around us. Merriam’s dictionary gives the definition of heady as “willful and violent.” Crimes have exploded in places like Chicago; this city has tough gun laws, yet has extremely high gun violence.

In the Bible, high-minded means “pride and arrogance.” The arrogance around us is astounding. The arrogance of the FBI is shocking.

The Bible tells us that men in the last days would be lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. There’s not much that people won’t use to replace God. When Nike came out with the slogan “just do it” 30 years ago, that wasn’t an accident. It led the way for self-entitlement. It’s all about Me, me, me. People have been told for so long that they can do whatever they want as long as they are happy, that when they don’t win something they want or get what they want, they take to social media to cry, plot revenge, and take to the streets, smashing windows and assaulting police officers.

We were warned that in the last days men will have a form of godliness but will deny His power. When you become a Christian, the Holy Spirit begins a change in you; you will not desire to be part of the world. You cannot truly confess Jesus and continue to live in unrepentant sin. Even Satan believes in Jesus.

There are teachers in the church teaching God’s word on Sunday but living unholy lives throughout the week. Many Christians do the same.

2 Timothy 3:5 “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Unfortunately, the pope is the person many think about when they think of Christianity. Catholicism and Christianity are not the same, and the pope does NOT speak for Christianity. The pope has a form of godliness but denies God’s power. Priests within the Catholic Church come in His name but do not know Him. From these, we are to run away.

It is these false “Christians” that blaspheme His name. The Pope is a false prophet and false teacher. He recently prayed in Istanbul towards Mecca with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and has made many incompatible comparisons between Christianity and Islam, and between God and Allah. He has made many false statements about Jesus Christ.

Jesus told us, “Call no man your [spiritual] father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven” (Matthew 23:9), yet the Catholic Church calls the pope Holy Father and calls priests father. Catholics that attend mass believe they must confess their sins to a priest, who in turn forgives them after they perform works. Example: Pray the Our Father and ten Hail Mary’s, and you’re forgiven. This is not the way that leads to salvation.

Be awake and sober minded; don’t live like the world. Open your Bible and you will know exactly what Jesus tells you.

1 Thessalonians 5:2 “For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.”

Did Jesus not say He would come like a thief in the night? Are you prepared and expecting it if a thief wakes you at night? Jesus will come when people least expect Him. He will come when people are self-absorbed and do not know Him, just as in the days of Noah when they didn’t know God. Remember, if you do not know Him, He will NOT know you. If you deny Him before men, He will deny you before His Father.

In the book of Daniel, it tells us that the last days will be a time of strife and trouble that the world has never known before. The Bible tells us the love of men shall grow cold towards one another. Women are having abortions in the U.S. at a rate of about 4,000 a day. Child abuse is rampant; theft, murder and rape have skyrocketed across the world. People have lost empathy for their fellow man. Drug-addicted persons will steal from their own mother or do even worse for drug money.

The world’s heart has indeed grown cold. As a Christian, this is not the case. He took you from the world and set you apart. Jesus said His greatest commandment is to love your neighbor. Christians every day prove their kindness and willingness to help, whether monetarily or by volunteering. They show love and concern for their fellow man.

Accept Jesus into your life today; there is true happiness when you Know Him, for God loved the world so much that He sent his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him has eternal life.

Matthew 24:5 “And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.’”

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Him.

Are you of the world?

Christian Persecution

Do you look like the world and act like the world? There are a lot of Christians who are a part of the world. Truly professing Christ as our Savior is the only way to the Father, but if you are living in unrepentant sin, have you really in your heart given your life over to Christ? As a Christian you seek forgiveness and repentance daily. You strive to do the right thing. You will no longer want to be part of the world. And you do not get to the Father by works; you get to the Father by Jesus.

When the woman was accused of adultery and was going to be stoned, what did Jesus say to her? “And Jesus said to her, ‘Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more’” (John 8:11).

Without Christ, there is no hope for salvation. We are sinners by nature and not worthy of the Kingdom of Heaven. When you become a Christian you will always fall short of the Glory of God. He is perfect; we are not. But there is a difference between blatantly living a sinful and worldly life and truly trying to walk the narrow path and living as Christ taught us. We will stumble and we will fall, but He will be there to pick us up. When you want to live for Christ, you will begin to change.

Jesus said not everyone that says Lord Lord, will be saved. If you do not know Him, He will not know you!

Matthew 10:33 “But whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.”

Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!”

Jesus told us we will know them by their fruits. Can a bad tree bear good fruit? If someone looks at how you are living your life or speaks to you and they see or hear no difference between you and someone of the world, then are you truly saved? Is God transforming your life?

Matthew 7:16-20 “You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn-bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”

As a Christian, you will not change overnight, BUT YOU WILL BEGIN TO CHANGE.

You will begin to love what He loves and hate what He hates. You will want to read His word more. You will yearn for a closer relationship with Him. You will pray more and you will worry about the salvation of others. You will not continue to live in your previous life because you will become a new person. People WILL notice that you are changing.

We who are saved should look forward to the rewards we will receive at the Bema Seat judgment after the rapture. Therefore, we must be aware of the sin in our own lives and confess it. We are warned not to judge our brothers and sisters in Christ unfairly.

John 7:24 “Do not judge by appearances but with right judgment.”

Galatians 6:1 “Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.”

Matthew 7:2-5 “For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

Jesus did not come to bring peace, but a sword! What is His sword? It’s His word. A sword divides, and so does the sword of the Spirit, the word of God. It divides and separates those of Christ from those of the world. Luke 12:51 describes the “sword” as “division.”

Matthew 10:34-39 “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be those of his own household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”

If you lose friendships or family relationships, will you still confess Him?

We are facing our own persecutions in the West where the word Christian is becoming a bad name. If you haven’t been to church lately, go. However, it shouldn’t be just any church, but a church that teaches God’s word. If you haven’t opened your Bible in awhile, then open it.

Have you fallen away from Him? Then run back. He is still there.

Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

When God truly saves someone, God begins to pull you out of the world. He pulls you closer to Him. If you truly are a Christian, you will not look like the world or act like the world. You will be set apart from the world. You cannot love the world and love Christ.

John 15:19 “If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”

Ezekiel 36:26-27 “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.”

You will become like new. You will want to change. Things you once loved that are disgusting in the eyes of God WILL begin to disgust you!

It’s easy to be a Christian in The United States. There are no real consequences. Your condo association won’t let you display your nativity scene at Christmas. In other parts of the world they won’t let you LIVE. In other parts of the world, they profess Christ knowing it could cost them their lives. In such places, if you profess your faith in Jesus Christ, then chances are you mean it because your life is on the line. They profess Him knowing they very well may DIE for Him, and they still do it.

Are you willing to die for that Nativity scene? Are you willing to die for your right to say Merry Christmas? Will you stand by Him knowing you are going to be beheaded for Him? Many Christians have a hard time standing for Jesus in the face of men even without the threat of death.

Matthew 5:11-12 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

Jesus warned us that we would be hated and persecuted for His name. He told us to remember that He was hated first and, because the world hated Him, it will also hate us.  Christians have been persecuted since Jesus walked the earth as God in the flesh. We were used in the coliseums as sport. We were being hunted and killed for His name’s sake. The goal was to kill all of us, but something amazing was happening.

As more Christians were killed, more people became followers of Christ. As Christians faced starving lions or fierce gladiators, they were somehow finding the strength and courage to sing and praise Jesus into the very face of death. Christians have always been persecuted in some form or another, but the all-out brutal assault on Christianity is back, and it’s in full force. Are you going to stand for Him? Be killed for Him?

Paul was ready to be a warrior for Christ in the face of the Gentiles, ready to face death. Paul, the man that hunted Christians, who hated them, was made new; He became a Christian. He went from the hunter to the hunted.

Many people across the world won’t give an opinion of their own to their peers if it’s not in line with everyone else. Christians are not supposed to be like everyone else. We are supposed to love what He loves and hate what He hates! We are not called to be weak. We are not called to meekly defend Christ; we are called to be warriors of Christ. Be a warrior for Christ. Stand apart from the world, don’t become the world.

John 15:18 “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.”

Luke 6:22 “Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and

spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man!”

Being a Christian is not popular. It’s even less popular in the Middle East, Africa, North Korea, China and Nigeria. They are dying for not denying His word. They are dying because they refuse to be ashamed of Him.

The Coptics in Egypt are under attack because they name the name of Christ. Any non-Muslim is up for persecution, but especially Christians. In Pakistan, the blasphemy laws are being used to arrest Christians. If a court finds the Christian innocent, he still loses his or her life. They are released to a mob in the streets where they are murdered.

Muslims in Nigeria are torturing and murdering Christians more than any other group on a routine basis, oftentimes performing the most barbaric and brutal executions.

In May 2016, over 500 Christians were murdered in Benue State in central Nigeria. In October 2016 in Godogodo, Nigeria, Muslim herdsman attacked the village, killing more than 40 Christians. “They shot and killed my four children,” survivor Peter Atangi told WorldWatch Monitor. “As we ran for our dear lives, they also set our homes on fire. Many of us have been rendered homeless.”

In the first month of 2018 in Benue, 80 Christians were hacked to death by Muslim herdsman.

A persecution watchdog group, International Christian Concern, reported that since Jan. 1 there have been another 50 deaths in Logo and another 30 in Guma County.

Islamic Fulani herdsmen in northeastern Nigeria who have been accused of aligning with the Boko Haram terror group killed more than 100 Christians after reprisal clashes earlier this month with the suspected help of the military.

Women are being taken from their villages and sold into slavery at record numbers. There are still hundreds of Yazidi girls missing from Iraq and Syria, sold into slavery by Islamists because they mix Christianity with Islam.

The persecution of Christians is brutal in India. On average, one Christian in India is attacked by Hindu terrorists every 40 minutes. Christians in Syria and Iraq have been forced from lands their ancestors have inhabited for 2,000 years.

Christian genocide happening across the world is real; it’s happening, but you wouldn’t know it. You don’t hear about it. A recent study by the group “Aid to the Church in Need” said the treatment of Christians has grown substantially worse since 2015 and has quickly grown more violent than any other period in modern times.

As The largest Christian nation, we cannot forget our brothers and sisters in Christ. It’s far too easy to forget the trials and tribulations they face, as we feel worlds away in the west. Our fight for Christianity in the United States is very real, but it is a much different fight than our brothers and sisters elsewhere face.

Imagine for one moment that it wasn’t just about your right to say “Merry Christmas,” but about your very survival. They need us now more than ever before. President Trump has made a bold start by withholding funding to the U.N. We are far more capable of helping Christians directly rather than through the U.N. The U.N. and the world ignore the real human rights atrocities committed against the very people they say they are defending.

I’m asking you as a sister in Christ to not forget them. Pray for them. Donate time or money to rescue groups that help Christians all over the world. No matter what you do to help them, just don’t forget them.

Don’t just hashtag some phrase and feel you’ve done your part. Your hashtag makes YOU feel better, but it does not change anything. Christ’s message wouldn’t have been spread through a hashtag. Social media helps tremendously in today’s world when spreading God’s word, but what I’m saying is spread His message but then live by it yourself. Don’t be a lukewarm Christian.

Christians are not only facing persecution and death; they are steadily on the decline. In the UK, a recent poll showed only 55% of Brits consider themselves Christians, while only 6% consider themselves active Christians.

The left and women’s rights groups condemn Christians as hateful or intolerant. Christians are accused of homophobia, often ridiculed as bigots. The left accuses Christians of being violent and promoting hatred, while they protect Muslims. Yet in the Middle East, Muslims throw homosexuals to their deaths from rooftops. Women from all walks of life are brutalized daily. Rape of “infidels” is not only condoned but is commanded in the Koran and Hadith.

Feminists all over attack the traditional mother while overlooking the real plight of women. Christian women were recently named the world’s most persecuted group. Christian women! But feminists attack Christian women along with everyone else. Women in the church that profess Christ are having abortions at a rate not far behind non-Christian women. Women in Iran are protesting the hijab and removing it, facing arrest or death. Women in the U.S are protesting against removing it, on the grounds of feminism. Many of the women being forced to wear it don’t want it. Women here fight for them to wear it behind the guise of freedom.

We have to stand together, united, and speak out against the atrocities happening around the world. We must call it what it is, CHRISTIAN GENOCIDE.

In Christianity, we are all brothers and sisters. In Islam, for instance, it’s very different. So why are Christians persecuted and Muslims are being labeled as the religion of peace? It’s the same reason yet again that takes us to Eve in the garden. It’s good versus evil, light versus darkness.

Christians are hated because of Him. He was crucified for you. If He died for you, you can stand with Him. There are Christians, and there is the world. If the world loves you, then you are too much a part of the world.  Jesus told us that the world hated Him first. Blessed is He that is persecuted for Jesus’ sake. The world stores up their riches here on earth; we as Christians are rewarded eternal life through Jesus Christ in heaven.

So are you a Christian ready to take up the sword of God, which is His word, and stand with Him and defend His flock, your brothers and sisters?

2 Corinthians 4:8-13 “We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So death is at work in us, but life in you.”

Who are the Palestinians, really?

The Palestinian People

“He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon” (Daniel 11:41).

Where are these ancient, biblical countries that God speaks of? Edom, Moab and Ammon are all in modern-day Jordan. Why would these cities be safe from the coming Muslim invasion? Jordan is a Muslim country that supports the PLO and an independent Palestinian state. They also have a vast amount of control over the Temple Mount. God warns us of a coming invasion into Jerusalem, but He also tells us specifically that these cities shall escape. Now we know why.

Before Islam was even created, God forewarned us of this occultic religion of Islam. How could John, banished to Patmos, see into the future to tell us that not only will Israel be surrounded by Muslims, but these Muslim countries shall escape the coming devastation? Why will they escape? Because they will participate in the coming invasion and help slaughter Jews where they find them.

Who are the Palestinian people? Are they these ancient people that have inhabited Israel for thousands of years? These poor, destitute and persecuted people that have had their land stolen from them? Let’s examine that for a moment.

We know historically that the land was indeed named Israel. God changed Jacob’s name to Israel, which literally means to “struggle with God.”

Israel has indeed struggled and continues to struggle today. So where did the name Palestine come from?

The holy Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD by Emperor Vespasian at the hands of his son, Titus. The political climate in Jerusalem in 70 AD was just as it was four decades earlier when Christ walked the earth. Look at the political climate in the United States today and it’s very easy to see how Jesus could be betrayed and handed over to His opposition.

Famous first-century historian, Josephus, who was present for the temple destruction, said that afterwards you could stand in the middle of Jerusalem and not know where you were. The Romans had cut down every tree for 10 miles around the city. It was utterly destroyed. Before the Roman destruction, the temple was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. Historian Josephus also tells us, “He who has not seen the temple of Herod has never seen beauty.” The gold around the temple made you look away at certain times of day. It was magnificent.

Mark 13:1 says, “Then as He went out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, Teacher, see what manner of stones and buildings are here!”

The disciple saw the splendor, the gold, and the beauty. But Jesus replied, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down” (Mark 13:2).

Almost four decades later, after His crucifixion and resurrection, the entire city was destroyed. The temple was destroyed—not a rock left standing. Roman soldiers pried the stones apart to get melted gold. They then took those they didn’t kill to turn them into slaves and used them to build their Coliseum, among other things – the future Coliseum where so many Christians lost their lives. There is a Roman coin depicting this very destruction. Rome suddenly turned it’s fury on all things Christian.

Why did people hate these new followers of Jesus? Decades after He was crucified, those who spread His message or just believed were killed in massive numbers. If this man Jesus had been crucified and simply was never heard of again, would the first followers have been so adamant about their newfound religion? Would a book written by mere men with no inspiration from God Himself have survived 2,000 years?

The first Christians were truly put to the test. They were not simply told they can’t say “Merry Christmas.” They were thrown to starving lions, burned alive, and torn limb from limb. All in the name of Christ, literally. They spread their message all over what is commonly known today as the Middle East. Many of the first churches were set up in modern-day Turkey, which the Ottoman Empire destroyed.

Peter and Paul survived and spread Christ’s message the longest. From historical records it appears both were killed under Emperor Nero. Paul had been arrested on previous occasions, and his Roman citizenship granted him the fairness of a hearing and ultimate release. A fire broke out in the city and immediately Christians were blamed. It is said that Rome burned as Nero played his fiddle, and that Christians were dipped in pitch and set ablaze to light his gardens. What hatred! What contempt!

Revelations 12:17 says, “And the dragon was enraged with the woman [Israel], and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Christians ARE the offspring.

Thus, the new religion of Christians, who proclaimed without a hint of shame that Jesus was indeed God, was spreading and spreading fast. Rome was not happy. For a King or governor or emperor to hear that this man Jesus was the King of Kings angered many in power. To put it in perspective: Kings, queens, emperor’s etc., killed their own bloodline off to make sure nobody could make a claim to the throne. Then you have these Christians who are spreading in numbers; and they refuse to worship or bow down to the many Roman gods, and even the emperors of the time.

That act alone upset many Romans. Not only were they hated by the Romans but they were hated by the Jewish people, who still feel it is blasphemy to claim Jesus is God’s Son and the Messiah. The very first martyr for Jesus was Stephen, and his sin was “transgression of faith” from Judaism. The first Christians were thrown into coliseums for refusing to renounce Christ and acknowledge the numerous Roman gods. They refused to worship any man above the Lamb of God—The King of Kings.

Nero was emperor for a short time, but his hatred for Christians and his murder of two of Christ’s disciples, Peter and Paul, has made him unforgettable throughout time. Fast forward 49 years to 117 AD and that brings you to Emperor Hadrian and where Palestine comes from. Not only did Hadrian hate Christians, but he hated the Jew as well.

In 130 AD, Hadrian visited Jerusalem. Jerusalem was still in ruins from its destruction in 70 AD. Hadrian rebuilt the city and named it Aelia Capitolina. Though the temple had been destroyed and the city completely destroyed other than the Roman fortress, Jews did start coming back. And for those that started to go back to Israel, what did their journey bring them? What must they have seen when they arrived? No temple. It was gone.

Hadrian then erected a temple built to the god, Jupiter, on the exact spot where the Jewish holy temple stood less than 50 years before. There was a massive revolt which ended with over half a million Jews being killed and 1,000 Israeli towns destroyed.

The ancient Philistines were ancient Israel’s enemy. They warred for hundreds of years. In fact Goliath was a Philistine. They were people that lived just southwest of Israel near the Jordan River. They were warmongers and a murderous people. God spoke many times of the Philistines. Archaeologists can find no trace of the Philistine people. Perhaps this is why in Zechariah 2:5 God finally judges the Philistines, and they no longer are a relevant people in history.

So then, what better way to punish and utterly decimate an entire race of people, and not only the people but their history, heritage and ultimately their God? There were no longer Philistines at the time of Hadrian’s rule. Changing the name of Israel to Palestine was a way to disconnect the Jews from their holy land and rename their beloved Israel after their sworn enemies.

Over a half million Jews were slaughtered between 132-136 BC, which is known as the Bar Kokhba Revolt. Hadrian ordered public burnings of the Torah and prohibited any observance of Judaism. Is it any wonder the name Jacob, where Israel gets her name, means to struggle with God? Israel has always struggled. Israel’s offspring has always struggled and will continue to struggle until Christ’s return.

Satan has been attacking and trying to destroy Israel’s offspring (Christians) since Christ’s crucifixion. His crucifixion wasn’t a defeat; it was a victory and Satan knew it. So he has set out to destroy us for 2,000 years.

He worked through Herod to destroy Jesus and failed. Jesus was victorious on the cross, so His followers have taken the punishment for His victory. By destroying us, Satan thinks he destroys Him. For 2,000 years he has tried through many different world powers, including Nebuchadnezzar, to destroy the Jewish people. But, Christians are hated even more. Don’t we represent Christ’s victory on the cross?

There are three main religions in the world: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Judaism was created over 3,500 years ago and Christianity was founded over 2,000 years ago, with both religions continuing to grow and thrive since their foundation. Both religions can absolutely trace their history and origins to not only the land of Israel, but to Jerusalem. Although most Jews deny that Jesus is the Messiah and the Son of God, they do not, however, deny that Jesus was Jewish and that he was born of a Jewish mother and went to synagogue and studied Torah.

Almost 3,000 years after Judaism began and over 600 years after Christianity began, Islam was born. Islam was created by a man named Muhammad who claimed he had a vision from a holy spirit he thought was Gabriel. Muhammad, while in these trance-like states, would have seizures and foam at the mouth.

Through these visions he had, he created a new religion called Islam. In doing so, Gods promise to Abraham, Hagar and Ishmael was fulfilled. Ishmael’s offspring has indeed become as numerous as the stars. Muhammad spread his new religion by way of the sword, just the opposite of how Jesus spread His message. Islam, under Ottoman rule, conquered Jerusalem in 1517 and took it as its own.

What the Muslims and the world fail to realize or refuse to admit is that, in 1312 BC, Israel became a nation. They have a 3,300 year proven history in Jerusalem—two thousand years before Islam was ever created. King David created the city of Jerusalem, while Muhammad never once visited.

In 1541 the Muslims sealed off the Golden Gate in Jerusalem, because prophecy foretold that the Messiah would enter through that gate. And Suleiman, the Ottoman leader, wanted to prevent Jesus from entering and fulfilling prophecy. What they failed to realize is Jesus already entered that gate, and Ezekiel prophesied that the gate would in fact be sealed.

Ezekiel 44:1-3 “Then He brought me back to the outer gate of the sanctuary which faces toward the east, but it was shut. And the Lord said to me, ‘This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter by it, because the Lord God of Israel has entered by it; therefore it shall be shut. As for the prince, because he is the prince, he may sit in it to eat bread before the Lord; he shall enter by way of the vestibule of the gateway, and go out the same way.’”

Around 610 AD, according to some Muslim sources, the newly created religion of Islam and its followers began praying toward the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. This is known as the first Qiblah. The Jews and even Christians living in Jerusalem in 610 greeted Islam with hostility (any wonder why?). Some say it was only after this that Muhammad changed the direction of Islamic prayer so that they now pray facing Mecca, their holiest site, with their backs to the Temple Mount. Other Muslim sources say Muhammad received a “revelation” to pray towards Mecca.

Jerusalem is a city, mind you, that Muhammad never actually visited. Jerusalem is not even mentioned by name in the Quran—not mentioned in the Quran even once; BUT Jerusalem is mentioned 806 times in the ancient writings of the Bible. Jews have thousands of years of history before Islam was even created, and Christians over 1,000 by the time Ottoman rule took over in Jerusalem through conquest.

Let’s fast forward to the rebirth of Israel. The Bible tells us it would be born in one day, and it was. The Jews started immigrating back to their ancient, rightful homeland. But what about these Palestinians we hear of today and for the last four decades. Jews always maintained a presence in Jerusalem; for 3,700 hundred years they have maintained a presence, especially in Judea and Samaria. And right after that comes Christians. So where do the Palestinians come in? The Palestinian people were originally Jordanians, Egyptians and Saudi’s.

King Abdullah in 1948 said “Palestine and Jordan are one.” And then King Hussein in 1981 said, “The truth is that Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan.” Earlier, in 1970, Prince Hassan had said the same thing but went a step further, saying, “There is only one land, with one history and one and the same fate.” This was the Prince speaking of Jordan.

Jordan also controls the Temple Mount. Why Israel agreed to that I will never know. They were called ONE people living in two states. In 1948 Jordan took control of the West bank (Judea and Samaria) where the holiest sites are and barred Jews from entering. They then tore down or completely destroyed 59 synagogues and desecrated Jewish graves. In 1950 Jordan annexed the West Bank.

Why didn’t we hear of the “Palestinians” before the last few decades? Why is there no “Palestinian culture” or “Palestinian cuisine?” A Palestinian language? Archeological evidence of their ancestors? The Jewish people find ancient evidence of their ancestors daily. Nothing to prove “Palestinian” existence has ever been found.

It wasn’t until 1967 that Arabs demanded an independent state of Palestine and we started to hear the first murmurings of the Palestinian people. This was after the Six-Day War in which they attacked Israel unprovoked. Only then did we suddenly hear of these Palestinian people. Yasser Arafat, the champion for the PLO and all things Palestinian, wasn’t even Palestinian. He was actually born in Egypt. Nobody really wanted or cared about Jerusalem until the Jews returned and made it bloom.

Isaiah 27:6 “He shall cause them that come from Jacob to take root, Israel shall blossom and bud and fill the face of the world with fruit.”

The Jews turned a barren wasteland into a thriving country. In 1867 Mark Twain visited the Holy Land and described it as “a desolate country…given over wholly to weeds – a silent mournful expanse.” Of the Jezreel Valley in Israel’s lower Galilee region, he said, “There is not a solitary village throughout its whole extent—not for 30 miles in either direction.”

Mark Twain also said that Jerusalem was desolate and devoid of inhabitants. So where were these Palestinian’s with the long ancient history in Jerusalem? They were not there because they did not exist. They were still living in mostly Jordan. Jordan annexed the west bank, created these refugees and blamed Israel. Suddenly they were Israel’s problem. Suddenly the world felt sorry for these people, and the holocaust of the Jews faded. These newly invented people were suddenly the victims by the oppressive bully Israel.

Israel has tried numerous times to have peace talks with the Palestinian leaders. They do NOT want peace. They do not want the Jews in Jerusalem or even Israel. Any peace deal they sign in the future, God says will be broken.

Jerusalem has a long history, and that history has always included Jews, not Palestinians. Jerusalem belongs to the Jewish people; better yet, it belongs to God and it is not to be divided. Christians need to remember that. Christians should never be for a two-state solution. By agreeing, you are saying God’s land should be divided.
